Abstract

Pemerintah Daerah Kalimantan Timur bertekad menjadikan pendidikan sebagai prioritas utama untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang cerdas, merata, prestasi gemilang. Pemerintah Provinsi memberikan prioritas yang sangat tinggi terhadap pembangunan dan tidak segan untuk mengalokasikan anggaran pendidikan sebesar 20 persen secara konsekuen.SDM yang diciptakan untuk memiliki akhlak moral yang mulia ditambah pendidikan yang dibangun untuk menciptakan integritas yang sangat dibutuhkan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan memberikan pelatihan dan memberikan materi kepada Guru di SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. Langkah-lagkah yang signifikan yang harus dilaksanakan adalah program transformasi kualitas Guru agar menjadi lebih profesional dan memiliki budaya unggul. Kurikulum holistik dan Sarpras yang menunjang juga harus diupayakan menjadi kurikulum dan Sarpras yang berbasis pada pengembangan keterampilan hidup. Abstract

Tradisi Upacara adat Belian merupakan tradisi upacara adat turun temurun bagi suku Kutai di Sabintulung sebagai bentuk komunikasi spiritual terhadap leluhur dan penghormatan terhadap boyok untuk tujuan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan dan pelestarian tradisi upacara adat Belian di era modernisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Melalui metode ini penelitian ini berfokus kepada tantangan pelestarian tradisi upacara adat belian di era modernisasi dan pelestarian tradisi upacara adat Belian di desa Sabintulung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan wawancara, oberservasi, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa tantangan pelestarian tradisi upacara adat Belian di era modernisasi saat ini terjadi berasal dari dalam (internal) dan dari luar (eksternal). Adapun faktor internal yaitu pewarisan generasi berdasarkan garis keturunan. Faktor eksternal yaitu perubahan pada nilai budaya dan gaya hidup pada masyarakat Sabintulung. Selain itu, upaya pelestarian tradisi upacara adat Belian juga dapat dilakukan melalui pengakuan secara resmi terhadap upacara adat Belian dan partisipasi pelaksanaan upacara adat Belian dengan mengorbankan uang, harta benda, tenaga, dan pemikiran dalam pelestarian tradisi upacara adat Belian.

Abstract

Principal leadership and school culture are important aspects that can affect the quality of services in various educational institutions. these two aspects support in improving the quality of education which can be seen from the quality of educational services in a school. This study aims to determine the effect of principal leadership and school culture on the quality of educational services at State Senior High Schools in Tenggarong. Multiple linear regression is an approach to modeling the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. This study uses multiple linear regression methods with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The research site of 3 senior high schools in Tenggarong with a total population of 287 students, while the sample taken was 167 students. Data is collected through a questionnaire, which has been conduct for the validity and reliability test. The results showed that overall, these two factors contributed simultaneously to the quality of education services with a coefficient of determination of 76%, while the remaining 24% was influenced by other factors not identified in the model in this study. The results show that principal leadership has a significant effect of 0.742 on the quality of education services, while school culture has a significant effect of 0.661 on the quality of education services in 3 Tenggarong high schools. The importance of synergy between principal leadership and school culture has a positive impact on the ability of human resources in the school, so that the quality of service and quality of education can be improved.

Abstract

Strategic management of the Quality Control Circle (QCC) is a quality control approach that emphasizes active participation, collaboration, and creativity of group members in systematically and continuously solving quality problems to achieve improvements in work quality and organizational productivity. The QCC is responsible for carrying out the quality assurance process, primarily through monitoring, evaluation, and control of the implementation of education and teaching, with the main objective of achieving the quality standards set by the educational institution. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management strategy of the Quality Control Circle (QCC) in optimizing the preparation for study program accreditation at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda. The research focuses on four managerial aspects: planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision in the context of quality improvement through the QCC strategy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving relevant parties, such as faculty leaders, lecturers, and the QCC team. The results of the study show that: 1) The QCC strategy in preparing for accreditation at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda begins with planning based on SWOT analysis, resulting in a targeted work plan for improving the quality of the study program. 2) Organization is carried out participatively with a clear structure, involving lecturers, staff, and students according to their competencies. 3) Implementation has proven effective through improvements in learning quality, utilization of technology, and the involvement of all faculty elements, which are evaluated using the PPEPP cycle and accreditation achievement indicators. 4) Supervision is conducted through regular evaluation, internal quality audits, and follow-up actions, ensuring that the QCC strategy remains adaptive to changing standards and is able to address the challenges of educational quality in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of civics teachers regarding the implications of nationalism in efforts to preserve traditional dance in schools. A qualitative approach was used with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with civics teachers in several schools in Samarinda City. The results of the study show that teachers interpret nationalism not only as a sense of love for the homeland, but also as concrete actions that reflect concern for local culture, such as through participation in traditional dance activities. Teachers consider the preservation of traditional dance to be an effective means of instilling national values in students, especially when it is contextually linked to everyday life. However, a major challenge comes from the dominance of foreign popular culture, which is more appealing to students, as well as the lack of structural support in the form of policies or incentives from schools and the government. Teachers implement various innovative strategies, such as project-based learning, the use of digital media, and direct involvement in traditional dance preservation activities, to maintain the sustainability of nationalism amid globalization. This study recommends the need for synergy between schools, families, and the government in strengthening character education so that the younger generation does not become alienated from their cultural identity. The preservation of traditional dance in schools, if supported systematically, can be a strategic vehicle for strengthening the character and identity of the nation
