Abstract

This research aims to improve students' morale and learning outcomes by using an interactive learning model of teams games tournaments assisted by rolling ball game media. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) development research. The study used the Dick & Carey development model, consisting of 10 stages, but researchers only used five. The analysis stage is carried out to analyze learning needs consisting of analysis of learning objectives, analysis of characteristics of learners, developing research instruments, developing learning strategies, and developing teaching materials. Three validators further validate the model that has been created in the course: validator design, language validator, and material validator. Validation results are then analyzed to find out the validity of the product that has been stored and is very valid value with a percentage of 85.7%. The results are evidenced by the value of the material expert 80%, the value of the linguist 90%, and the design expert 87%. From the results of practicality data that have been obtained, it is known that 7 points score researchers there are six good with a percentage of 75%, and there is an excellent 1 with a percentage of 100%. Therefore, the total is very practical value with a percentage of 90%. From this research, it can be concluded that this learning model can improve learners' spirit and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of learning evaluation management in improving the quality of graduates at the Palopo State Islamic Institute. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with pedagogical, juridical, and sociological approaches. The objects in the study were academic implementers and students, and the instruments used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. The results showed that the learning evaluation management at IAIN Palopo consisted of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programs. At the planning stage, the academic side prepares every need for learning evaluation, then holds the schedule by referring to the academic calendar and arranges the place for lectures, at the evaluation stage, the UTS and UAS are supervised by a lecturer or lecturer who teaches the subject in question. Constraints in learning evaluation management include; the incomplete several course material so that it affects planning; besides that, some students who have not received a score in the previous semester (comprehensive examination), in the organizational aspect, some lecturers are late in entering exam questions. Some have even tested the material but did not provide information to the study program/faculty, aspects of the facilities that have less influence on organizing learning evaluation. Obstacles in the implementation of the evaluation are the lack of student preparation in facing exams, the existence of cheating by students during the exam, and the constraints on program evaluation, namely the absence of a set time in evaluating the program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the models and constraints of humanistic education carried out by educators for the child scavengers in the garbage dumps in Palopo City. This research is qualitative research for disclosing facts—Miles and Huberman's analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that: Education of scavenger children at TPA Mancani, Palopo City is more directed to public and religious educational institutions outside the garbage dumps area, educational guidance on Sundays at church for those who are Christian while those who are Muslim get an education at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ); humanist education is developing in Sunday schools with the concept of primary religious education, regular discussions, counseling, the formation of work and study groups with materials consisting of: beliefs, politeness/ethics, and memorizing verses. The methods used include: exemplary and discipline, habituation, advice and guidance, deliberation and discussion, stories or stories, as well as balancing the giving of praise and punishment; The obstacles faced in implementing humanist education for child scavengers at TPA Mancani Palopo City include; the recruitment as fostered children in Sunday School, the lack of support from parents, child scavengers feel that their freedom is losing after entering school, and not guarantee their worthiness of life. Another obstacle is the limited number of assistants of child scavengers, limited facilities, infrastructure, funds, and the character traits of scavenger children that are difficult to change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lima nilai utama pendidikan karakter (nilai religius, nasionalis, kemandirian, gotong-royong, dan integritas) yang diterapkan oleh guru pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam K-13 di SMA Negeri Kota Palopo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru PAI, siswa, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan guru PAI belum sampai pada inovasi yang maksimal dalam melakukan analisis kurikulum. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru PAI tidak melakukan analisis kurikulum dengan baik, sehingga kurikulum yang digunakan merupakan hasil dari kegiatan MGMP PAI yang belum tentu sesuai dengan karakter dan kebutuhan para siswa. Selain itu, pengembang kurikulum tidak memasukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter ke semua kompetensi dasar bidang studi, sehingga muncul keseragaman pengaplikasian pendidikan karakter terhadap peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian menyarankan kepada Guru PAI untuk membuat perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter, baik RPP, maupun materi ajar yang diberikan, serta selalu mengevaluasi penerapan nilai pendidikan karakter oleh peserta didik, baik secara implikasi dalam bersikap maupun prakter-praktek ibadah. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum 2013; pendidikan agama Islam; pendidikan karakter

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the need for Islamic education courses and local culture at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN Palopo and to determine the prototype, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials for Islamic education and local culture based on the integrative-interconnective paradigm at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN Palopo. The type of research used was development research. The research was conducted at the Palopo State Islamic Institute in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study concludes that a textbook that can integrate Islamic education and local culture is needed, consisting of 7 chapters, 28 subchapters, and 28 materials; textbooks are very valid, practical, and effective to be used as teaching materials for Islamic education courses local culture.

Abstract

This paper is the result of research to determine the role of parents in increasing student interest in learning Islamic religious education online. The results showed that students' interest in learning online in general was still included in the moderate category, meaning that students' interest in learning online in general from all fields of study was still lacking. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of the distribution of questionnaires carried out to find out the role of parents' roles in increasing student interest in learning Islamic religious education online were included in the high category and resulted in the maximum role of parents, students' interest in learning Islamic religious education online was also included in the high category. The obstacles experienced by parents in carrying out their role to increase students' interest in learning Islamic religious education include: 1) Parents' educational background; 2) Parents' economic level; and 3) availability of time. In order to overcome these obstacles, schools, teachers and parents must establish good cooperation. In addition, parents must further improve communication with their children.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam pengembangan literasi mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDNegeri 61 Mario. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskripstif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan tringulasi dan pembahasan teman sejawat. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Ditemukan bahwa strategi guru dalam pengembangan literasi mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada masa pandemi adalah dengan memberikan evaluasi sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran bahan ajar dan media belajar yang di gunakan. Sebelum membuat rencana pembelajaran, guru juga melakukan riset tentang topik-topik seperti apa yang disukai siswa selama pandemi Covid-19 dan aktivitas apa yang dapat mereka lakukan di rumah. Kegiatan selanjutnya, guru memaparkan konten pelajaran kepada siswa menggunakan e-learning dengan pengawasan orang tua dari rumah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the NHT (Numbered Head Together) type of cooperative learning model to overcome student learning saturation. This type of research is PTK with research instruments using observations, questionnaire sheets, and documentation. The results of this study were high precyclical; there were ten students (43.48%), nine students (39.13%), and low only four students (17.39%). On the other hand, cycle I result in a learning saturation of 5 students (21.74%), which is still high, medium 14 students (60.87%), and low remaining four students (17.39%). In comparison, cycle II students who are high in learning saturation 0 students (0.00%), medium eight students (34.78%), and low 15 students (65.22%) can be concluded that learning saturation in students has decreased quite rapidly, and answers the problem in this study, namely the completion of learning saturation in grade IV students of SD Negeri 8 Salobulo Kota Palopo.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan model Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas IV SDN 369 Tiromanda. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan bantuan rancangan pre-eksperimental design. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 26 siswa Kelas IV SDN 369 Tiromanda. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes bentuk essai dan pilihan ganda. Tes yang diberikan sebelum perlakuan disebut pre-test dan setelah diberikan perlakuan disebut post-test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam analisis hipotesis adalah Paired Sample T-Test dengan menggunakan IMB SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil tes sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pre-test) adalah 51,27, dan nilai rata-rata hasil tes setelah diberikan perlakuan (post-test) adalah 79,88. Diperoleh nilai signifikasi 2 tailed dari hasil uji Paired Sample T-test yaitu 0,000 atau < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas IV SDN 369 Tiromanda.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis peserta didik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran induktif kata bergambar, serta keefektifan model induktif kata bergambar terhadap pembelajaran keterampilan menulis. jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Experimental (eksperimen semu). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 34 Bara Kota Palopo dengan sampel peserta didik kelas III-A berjumlah 15 orang dan peserta didik kelas III-B berjumlah 15 orang. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah dalam analisis data pada penlitian ini terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji N-ngain/uji efektivitas. Hasil keterampilan menulis peserta didik pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran induktif kata bergambar memiliki nilai terendah 12 dan nilai tertinggi 22, dengan nilai rata-rata 17,2, yang tergolong sangat rendah. Setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran induktif, nilai kata bergambar di kelompok eksperimen meningkat menjadi nilai terendah 21 dan tertinggi 36, dengan nilai rata-rata 29,5, yang tergolong tinggi. Sementara itu, pada kelompok kontrol pretest memiliki nilai terendah 13 dan tertinggi 17, dengan nilai rata-rata 15,0, tergolong sangat rendah, sedengkan posttest memiliki nilai terendah 13 dan tertinggi 21, dengan nilai rata-rata 15,4, tergolong tinggi. Analisis uji N-Gain Score menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok eksperimen, nilai rata-rata N-Gain Score pada pemberian Teknik Pengkondisian Aversi adalah 67,7%, termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol, nilai rata-rata N-Gain Score pada pemberian Teknik Pengkondisian Aversi adalah 11,4%, termasuk dalam kategori tidak efektif. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran induktif kata bergambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik kelas III SDN 34 Bara Kota Palopo.
