Abstract

The practices of tin mining which removing all layers of soil on deposits of minerals caused the seriously environmental problems, i.e degradation of physical and chemical soil, disappearance of vegetation, flora and fauna in ecosystems that changed the microclimate. In the tailings area of tin mining have unstable structure, the content of organic matter is very low, so it is vulnerable to land slides and erosion. The characteristic of tailing area that very acid, low nutrient availability, low water storage and high soil temperature are constraints in the conservation and improvement this area. The aim of this research was found conservation technology to improve the properties of  soil on Tin mining land due to human activities that cause environmental damage both micro and macro so determination of plant species and specific location technology can be done based on characterization and potential evaluation soil resources. Annual crop cultivation and cultivation of legume cover crop (Mucuna sp., Long-lived, Calopogonium sp., Peuraria javanica) and management of top soil and organic matter are a must, in addition to improve soil structure, maintaining soil moisture, as well as to reduce the loss nutrients, as in  textured rough soil (sandy) nutrients in soil are easily washed.Keywords: Characteristic soil, improvement, tailing area, tin mining

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to analyze the amount of transaction cost on cassava agribusiness system and analyze the effect of transaction cost to the income of cassava farming in Central Lampung Regency. The research was held in the district of Rumbia, Central Lampung Regency. The reasearch used survey method to 141 cassava farmers in the district of Rumbia, Central Lampung Regency, taken purposively. The analysis used quantitative analysis method on Transaction cost (TrC); income analysis, and double linear regression. The results showed (1) transaction cost on cassava agribusiness system is Rp. 732.725,17/ha/farmer/season (2) the income of cassava farming is Rp. 10.666.036,03/ha means that cassava farming is worthed to be continuesly developed in Central Lampung Regency and transaction cost gave the real impact to the income of cassava farming

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the level of satisfaction of the female farmer group on the performance of the field extension workers. The sample consisted of 40 members of the women's farmer group Bina Pertain determined by the census technique. The analysis used is Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results obtained are the level of satisfaction of the female farmer group on the service attributes classified as satisfied. The level of importance of the service is greater than the level of performance of the field instructor, this indicates that the level of agricultural performance of the field extension worker has not met the expectations desired by the women farmer group

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pendapatan usahatani padi sawah dan menganalisis faktor-faktor sosial ekonomi yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di masa pandemi covid-19. Analisis yang digunakan analisis pendapatan dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling sebanyak 51 petani. Hasil penelitian yaitu pendapatan usahatani padi sawah sebesar Rp. 10,368,541.00 /ha/musim tanam dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 2,1 (menguntungkan). Faktor sosial ekonomi yang berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usahatani padi sawah adalah luas lahan, harga pupuk organik, dan harga pupuk ponska, sedangkan faktor yang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan usahatani padi sawah adalah tingkat pendidikan, harga pupuk kandang, harga pupuk urea, harga pupuk ZA, harga pupuk KCL, harga pestisida, jumlah anggota keluarga dan usia.

Abstract

Kailan (Brassica oleracea var winsa kaelan sharp leaf) is vegetable can grow on all types of soil, enjoyed by the community so it has good prospects to be developed in Indonesia. Good Cultivation technique the production of kailan. Therefore, the use of liquid organic fertilizer  combination with the  composition of  planting media needs to be applied as both can increase the product of kailan that is organic so that the needs of healthy vegetables can be completed. The purpose of this  study are determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer for growth and yield of kailan vegetables, the best planting media for growth and yield of kailan vegetables, and the interaction between of liquid organic fertilizer application  and  media type of planting toward the  growth of kailan vegetables. The results of this research  that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer  has no significant effect on growth and yield of kailan,  the composition of different planting media has  no significant effect on growth and yield of kailan except on the large ratio of leaf (RLD) and wet weight on kailan plant. and there is no interaction between liquid organic fertilizer and plant media composition on growth and yield of kailan plants.

Abstract

The cultivation of Red Onions (Allium ascalonicum, L.) in paddy fields needs to be investigated further because paddy fields have constraints on the soil physical and chemical properties, such as soil structure, drainage, pH, and nutrient availability. The application of husk charcoal and K fertilizer is expected to increase the productivity of Red Onions, so it is necessary to study the appropriate dose. The research aimed to determine the effect of the interaction between the application of husk charcoal and KCl fertilizer and the influence of each factor on the growth and yield of Red Onions. The results showed that rice husk charcoal treatment at a dose of 20 Mg ha-1 was effective in increasing the growth and yield of Red Onions compared to rice husk charcoal at a dose of 10 Mg ha-1 and 0 Mg ha-1 (control), as evidenced by the variable shallot plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per clump, wet tuber weight per clump, and tuber dry weight per clump. KCl fertilizer treatments at doses of 100 kg ha-1, 200 kg ha-1, and 300 kg ha-1 did not significantly affect to growth and yield of Red Onions. There was not interaction between the rice husk charcoal and KCl fertilizer treatments.

Abstract

The study was conducted in Lampung Province with consideration for soil fertility in rice fields are planted with rice tends to go down, so that the harvest of dry grain production leveling off. The method used is a survey method, including primary data collection through interviews using questionnaires. Identification of using soil conditioner collected to reveal information about the type of soil conditioner that is known farmers and types soil conditioner once used by farmers. The aim of this study were: (1) an inventory of the type soil conditioner known and used by farmers, as well as the resources and applications dose; (2) determine the benefits and constraints use soil conditioner at the farm level, (3) to study soils conditioner prospect to increase land productivity. The results showed that the organic matter, soil conditioner types known and used in Central Lampung District is Zeolite Agro 2000, ZP.30 (enrichment zeolit with P nutrient) and dolomite, whereas in the East Lampung District is a regular zeolite and dolomite. The use of soil conditioner in both districts useful to increasing the production of rice crop about 10-30%, also improve soil fertility and increase the efficiency of nutrient uptake of inorganic fertilizers.

Abstract

Inflasi, sebagai salah satu tantangan ekonomi global, memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap stabilitasekonomi. Pendekatan inovatif berupa edukasi pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman cabai sebagai komoditaspencetus terjadinya inflasi ketika cabai langka dan harga melonjak tinggi telah dilakukan kepada Masyarakatkampung KB Kelurahan Yosodadi Kota Metro, Lampung sebagai pendampingan program Gerakan TanamPangan, Holtikultura, dan Perikanan (Gertapaga). Edukasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan danpemahaman Masyarakat dalam membiakkan Tricodherma sp Beauveria bassiana dan Metarhizium anisopliae,serta mengaplikasikannya dalam budidaya cabai sehat dengan meminimalisir pestisida. Metode penelitian inimelibatkan survei lapangan, wawancara dengan masyarakat, dan pelatihan teknik pembiakan isolat Tricodhermasp Beauveria bassiana dan Metarhizium anisopliae secara sederhana dan dapat dilakukan Masyarakat secaramandiri. Edukasi pembuatan biopestisida tidak hanya memberikan manfaat praktis bagi masyarakat di bidangpertanian, tetapi juga memiliki implikasi penting dalam upaya menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan dan mencapaipertanian yang berkelanjutan.
