Abstract

Concrete has high compressive strength that is capable of supporting a large and heavy structures. But concrete has a low tension strength and brittle nature (Brittle). The weakness of this concrete properties can be improved by providing treatment such as provide fiber. There are several fibers that can be used to improve the properties of concrete and one of them is the steel fibers. Steel fibers possess the strength and modulus of elasticity which is relatively high. Moreover steel fibers do not change the shape of the influence of alkali in the cement. Imposition in a long period o f time does not affect the mechanical properties of steel fiber. Bond in the composition of the mixture can be increased because fastening mechanically. The study used the steel shavings and fiber materials Harex SF. The aim of this examination was intended to determine the coefficient of concrete fiber orientation at the same time the value of flexural tension strength of concrete produced in the concrete mix wearing Harex SF fiber or steel shavings. Steel fiber used in this study using the percentage of 1 until 4 percent of the weight of the concrete mix and perform quality control for the split tension strength of concrete at 28 days. From this research, the percentage of 3 percent as the optimum value based on the ease of doing the concrete (workability) used for research flexural tension strength of concrete and fiber orientation coefficient of concrete in the concrete with steel shavings and concrete with fibers Harex SF. From the testing that has been done shows: flexural tension strength fiber-reinforced concrete Harex SF 3 percent of 5,037 MPa and flexural tension strength of concrete with steel shavings of 11,035 MPa and the coefficient offiber direction concrete well with fiber Harex SF and shavings o f steel both are between 0 and 1 (0 less than or equal to eta of phi less than or equal to 1) with an average value close to 0, which means both fibers are working properly so that is proven to increase the tension strength offlexural concrete.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of particle board made from sengon and mangium woods treated with cold water immersion. Particles of sengon and mangium immersed in cold water for 24 hours. The particles of sengon and mangium are combined with a ratio of 100: 0; 0: 100; 75:25; and 50:50. Particle boards are made in size (30x30x0,9) cm3 with target densities of 0.7 g cm-3. The particle board was binded with methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) adhesive at 10% content and hot press at 140 °C with 25 kgf cm-2 for 7 minutes. The physical and mechanical properties of particle board are evaluated according to JIS A 5908-2003 standard. The physical and mechanical properties of particle board were much affected by particle combination and cold water immersion treatment. The physical (i.e density, moisture content, water absorption (WA), and thickness swelling (TS)) and mechanical properties (ie. modulus of elasticity (MOE), modulus of rupture (MOR), and internal bonding (IB)) were evaluated. The results showed that cold water immersion improved dimensional stability (WA and TS) of particle board obtained. Abstract

Filantropi cilik Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga mengajak untuk terus mengajarkan dan mengetuk hati siswa-siswinya agar mau beribadah sosial dan menyadarkan akan arti pentingnya membantu sesama. Pengambilan segmen cilik dikarenakan segmen anak-anak yang menjadi tujuan. Filantropi Cilik mengambil segmen siswa sekolah Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah yaitu Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara siswa/ siswi, guru, dan pengurus Lazismu Salatiga dengan menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Sementara data pada penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara. Fokus penelitian ini pada bagaimana Bermuhammadiyah melalui Spiritual Amal Saleh Filantropi Cilik Lazismu dengan bertumpu pada literatur fungsi bahasa.

Abstract

biodegradable polymer such as PVA is considered the most promising candidates for developing the sustainable sticker. The objective of this study was to determine the most suitable PVA + TS blends as adhesives agent for AMF spores inoculation via seed coating which can enhance the spores viability and their beneficial properties in maize. The polythene bag experiment was performed in a screen house of the Department of Plant Protection Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu Indonesia in 2015. Six adhesive blends were employed: 100% PVA + 0% TS, 75% PVA + 25% TS, 50% PVA + 50% TS, 25% PVA + 75% TS, 0% PVA + 100% TS, and no coating. The six experimental treatments were laid out in a completely randomized design with three replications. The results show that root colonization, AMF spore population, and shoot dry weight in 75% PVA + 25% TS were equal to those in 100% PVA. Root colonization, AMF spore population, shoot P content, and shoot P concentration were greater for 50% PVA + 50% TS than 100% PVA, 100% TS, and no coating. A mixture of 50% PVA + 50% TS was considered the preferred sticker. Thus, the tapioca starch can be used to substitute 25 - 50% of the PVA used without reducing AMF inoculant adhering to seed.Keywords: polymeric seed coating, seed coating formulation, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, sustainable coating adhesive, seed inoculation, seed inoculant

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the teacher as a facilitator of the use of Indonesian in the learning process. The teacher is a very important person in the world of education in the teaching and learning process as a mediator, facilitator, and leader in the classroom. Teachers and students must be able to communicate well as the principle of communication between teachers and students so that learning runs well. Even during a pandemic like now. Teachers are required to be more varied and wise in learning and to form closeness with students. The focus of this research is how the teacher's role as a facilitator of the use of Indonesian in Elementary School. Study on the use of Video Calls in Class 1 Learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Plus Salatiga. Abstract

This study discusses the role of the teacher in increasing student motivation in learning Indonesian. The teacher is a very important figure in the teaching and learning process as a mediator, facilitator, and leader in the class. Teachers and students must be able to communicate well as the principle of communication between teacher and students so that learning goes well. The focus of this research is how the teacher's role in increasing student motivation towards learning Indonesian in Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga Elementary School. This study uses a questionnaire or questionnaire technique with a population of 53 teachers and 30 subjects or half of the subjects.

Abstract

Bankruptcy is a situation when the debtors are unable to fulfill their obligations to pay debts to creditors. The requirement for a bankruptcy decision is based on Article 2 paragraph (1), namely that the debtors have two or more creditors and have not paid in full at least one debt that has matured and can be collected. This causes no legal protection for debtor companies that are still solvent and have good intentions from creditors who have bad intentions in abusing bankruptcy law. The debtors with good intentions will certainly find it difficult to face a bankruptcy application if the conditions are only 2+1. Debtor companies that do not pay off their debts do not always have bad intentions but face the threat of bankruptcy which should not be aimed at them. The study aims to understand how Indonesian bankruptcy law can better protect financially stable companies with good intentions from being unfairly declared bankrupt. This research used normative legal research using primary and tertiary legal materials collected from literature and document studies and analyzed qualitatively. The results of this research showed that legal protection and justice can be given to solvent debtors who have good intentions if bankruptcy law in Indonesia provides regulations regarding insolvency tests as an instrument to prove factually whether the debtor's financial condition is still healthy (solvent) or unhealthy (insolvent) so that it is appropriate to sentenced to bankruptcy.

Abstract

Cipta Karya Village, Sungai Betung District, Bengkayang Regency, has the Bukit Selapar ecotourism area developed by the local village community. The existence of an ecotourism area in an area will give different perceptions to each individual, depending on the characteristics of the local community. This research aims to examine and analyze the existence of the Bukit Selapar ecotourism object in Cipta Karya Village regarding the relationship between income, knowledge and cosmopolitan levels with the community's perception of the existence of the Bukit Selapar ecotourism object. The research method used is a descriptive survey method. The sample of respondents was 68 families, which is part of a total population of 215 families. The research results show that the people of Cipta Karya Village, Sungai Betung District, have a positive perception of the existence of Bukit Selapar. People with positive perceptions support and are involved in the development of Bukit Selapar, with a frequency of 49 people and a percentage of 72.06%. Income level is not significant and has a negative relationship with public perception. Meanwhile, the level of knowledge and cosmopolitanism, although not significant, have a positive relationship with the public's perception of the existence of Bukit Selapar as ecotourism.Keywords: Community Perception, Ecotourism, and Existence.AbstrakDesa Cipta Karya, Kecamatan Sungai Betung, Kabupaten Bengkayang, memiliki kawasan ekowisata Bukit Selapar yang telah dikembangkan oleh masyarakat desa setempat. Keberadaan kawasan ekowisata di suatu daerah akan memberikan persepsi yang berbeda-beda pada setiap individu, tergantung pada karakteristik masyarakat setempat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan menganalisis keberadaan objek ekowisata Bukit Selapar di Desa Cipta Karya terhadap hubungan antara tingkat pendapatan, pengetahuan, dan kosmopolitan dengan persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan objek ekowisata Bukit Selapar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang bersifat deskriptif. Sampel responden yang diambil sebanyak 68 KK, yang merupakan sebagian dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 215 KK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Cipta Karya, Kecamatan Sungai Betung, memiliki tingkat persepsi positif terhadap keberadaan Bukit Selapar. Masyarakat yang memiliki persepsi positif adalah mereka yang mendukung dan ikut terlibat dalam pengembangan Bukit Selapar, dengan frekuensi 49 orang dan persentase 72,06%. Tingkat pendapatan tidak signifikan dan memiliki hubungan negatif terhadap persepsi masyarakat. Sementara itu, tingkat pengetahuan dan kosmopolitan, meskipun juga tidak signifikan, memiliki hubungan positif terhadap persepsi masyarakat mengenai keberadaan Bukit Selapar sebagai ekowisata.Kata kunci: Persepsi Masyarakat, Ekowisata, dan Keberadaan

Abstract

Ferns is one kind of plants in Lho Fat Phun Fie Nature Reserve that has important function in forest ecosystem. This study aimed to describe the species of ferns and to obtain the value of ferns diversity index. This study was using a survey methode with multiple plot sampling technique. The plots placed purposively in areas where many types of ferns were found. The plot area used is 10 m x 10 m each 78 plot. The results showed that there were 19 species of 13 fern families. 19 spesies of fern were 17 types of terrestrial ferns and 2 types of epiphytic ferns. The highest important value index (INP) is the lemiding fern (Stenochlaena palustris), the dominance index value (C) was not dominant (0.21), the diversity index value (H’) is moderate (1,9) and the abundance index value (e) is high (0,6).Keywords: Diversity, Epiphytic ferns, Ferns, Terrestrial ferns.AbstrakTumbuhan paku merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang terdapat di Cagar Alam Lho Fat Phun Fie yang mempunyai peran penting terhadap ekosistem hutan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tumbuhan paku dan mendapatkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan paku di Cagar Alam Lho Fat Phun Fie. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan contoh petak ganda. Petak pengamatan dibuat sebanyak 78 petak berukuran 10 m x 10 m yang diletakkan secara purposive berdasarkan keberadaan tumbuhan paku dan tutupan lahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 19 jenis tumbuhan paku yang termasuk dalam 13 famili. 19 jenis tersebut terdiri dari 17 jenis paku terestrial dan 2 jenis paku epifit. Nilai indeks nilai penting (INP) tertinggi adalah jenis paku lemiding (Stenochlaena palustris), nilai indeks dominansi (C) tumbuhan paku di Cagar Alam Lho Fat Phun Fie tergolong kecil atau tidak mendominansi (0,21), nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis (H’) tergolong sedang (1,9) dan nilai indeks kelimpahan (e) tergolong tinggi (0,6).Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman jenis, Paku epifit, Tumbuhan paku, Paku terestrial

Abstract

Local communities widely use natural fibers to fulfill their daily needs. Doyo leaf fibers are fibers used by the people of Kalimantan for clothing and weaving traditional mats. This research analyses the fundamental properties of doyo leaf fibers, including chemical components, functional groups, and crystallinity index. The soluble extractive content of polar solvents was higher than the extractive content of non-polar solvents in doyo leaf fibers. The holocellulose content of doyo leaves is 60.47. The α-cellulose for doyo leaves was 53.51. The lower the α-cellulose yield, the more hemicellulose content dominates the fiber. The FTIR test results also support the chemical component test results. The high alpha cellulose content will affect the fiber’s crystallinity index. Doyo leaf fiber has a degree of crystallinity of 69.77%. Doyo leaf fiber is suggested as the raw material for crystalline nanocellulose.
