Abstract

Tujuan studi: Mengidentifikasi dampak pandemi covid 19 terhadap stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan berdasarkan karakteristik individu, masalah pribadi, dan job insecurity karyawan swasta di kota Samarinda. Metodologi: Penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode accidental sampling yang dihitung dengan rumus lemeshow dan didapatkan hasil sekitar 385 responden. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa variabel karakteristik individu (X1), konflik interpersonal (X2) dan job insecurity (X3) secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja (langsung). Manfaat: Manfaat penelitian ini sebagai referensi untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik individu, konflik interpersonal, dan job insecurity terhadap stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan swasta di kota samarinda di masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Tujuan Studi: Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel fasilitas kerja, lingkungan kerja dan job insecurity secara parsial dan simultan terhadap stres kerja selama masa pandemi. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel fasilitas kerja, lingkungan kerja dan job insecurity secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui stres kerja selama masa pandemi. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diambil dari data primer berupa kuesioner yang di ubah menjadi data angka lalu dihitung menggunakan analisa jalur.Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan melakukan pemencaran kuesioner untuk para responden dengan menggunakan google from. Teknik penentuan sampel memakai metode accidental sampling, dan sampel itu sendiri adalah karyawan swasta yang bekerja di kota Samarinda. Hasil: Dampak pandemi covid-19memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terutama lingkungan kerja dan job insecurity terhadap tingkat stres kerja karyawan swasta di kota Samarinda. Manfaat: Sebagai bahan informasi dan masukan bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan menekan angka stres kerja dimasa pandemi covid-19 yang dialami karyawan swasta di kota Samarinda.

Abstract

The rapid development of payment digitalization and the Covid-19 outbreak that is now hitting has brought changes in consumer interest in shopping using online services, this is due to the convenience and convenience obtained during online shopping, this change has an impact on companies that only provide offline services to sell their products, especially in the financial condition of the company which is feared to experience financial distress. Financial distress is a condition of the company's financial decline accompanied by the company's inability to pay the debts that have matured. This study aims to determine and analyze the risk of financial distress in the company under study.The data used is secondary data in the form of financial statements of PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk and PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk in the 2017-2021 period, which will be processed using three models of financial distress prediction analysis, namely the zmijewski model, the altman model and the springate model. The results obtained can later be used as an early warning system to find out the condition of the company under study and also materials for making decisions for investors and creditors.

Abstract

The presence and progress in the fields of technology, information, and communication due to the influence of globalization make it easy for professional workers to do various jobs, especially to achieve work effectiveness, time efficiency and interact with a wider network. Co-Working Space is present as a forum that facilitates the needs of professional workers as well as new innovations in the contemporary work world. This study aims to analyze the role of local Co- Working Space in supporting the growth of creative industries in Samarinda. While the long- term goal of this research was to find out the strategies carried out by Co-Working Space in accommodating professional workers in Samarinda to be able to compete and to contribute to the growth of industry 4.0, both locally and internationally. This research used qualitative research methods that combined literature review and interviews with Co-Working Space industry. This research was targeted to have output in the form of references and collaborative programs related to the application of the Co-Working Space system at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work environment and work commitment on the work motivation of Generation Z employees in Samarinda City. This study employs a quantitative approach with the population being all Generation Z individuals in Samarinda City. The sample consists of 141 respondents obtained through purposive sampling technique. Data collection is conducted using a questionnaire distributed through Google Form using the Likert scale. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression through the SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that partially, the t-test results show that the work environment (x1) has a significance value of 0.002 ≤ 0.10, which means that the work environment significantly influences the work motivation of Generation Z. The t-test results for work commitment (x2) on work motivation (y) have a significance value of 0.006 ≤ 0.10, indicating that work commitment significantly affects the work motivation of Generation Z. Moreover, simultaneously, the F-test results for both the work environment (x1)and work commitment (x2) on work motivation (y) have a significance value of 0.001 ≤ 0.10, signifying that the work environment and work commitment, when considered together, significantly influence the work motivation of Generation Z.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Employer Branding and work-related stress on Turnover Intention among Generation Z workers, with a case study in the Wedding Organizer industry in Samarinda City. Employer Branding, as an effort by companies to create a positive image in the eyes of employees and potential employees, as well as work-related stress arising from workload, is expected to have a significant influence on employees’ intention to leave their jobs. The data collection method used in this study is through the distribution of questionnaires via Google Forms, which were distributed to Generation Z workers in 5 Wedding Organizers in Samarinda City. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between these variables. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the factors influencing Turnover Intention among Generation Z workers and offer recommendations for companies to pay more attention to the mental well-being of their employees. With more focus on managing work-related stress and strengthening Employer Branding, companies are expected to build better relationships with Generation Z workers, thereby reducing Turnover Intention and enhancing their well-being in the workplace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja, job burnout, dan work- life balance terhadap turnover intention pada part-time working student di Kota Samarinda. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa yang bekerja part-time di Samarinda, yang menghadapi tantangan dalam menyeimbangkan tuntutan akademik dan pekerjaan, sehingga berpotensi mengalami stres, burnout, dan keinginan untuk berpindah kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan 404 responden mahasiswa part-time yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier berganda serta uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja dan job burnout berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, sedangkan work-life balance tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention mahasiswa part-time di Samarinda. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa tekanan kerja dan kelelahan emosional menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong mahasiswa untuk mempertimbangkan keluar dari pekerjaan part-time, sementara keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan pribadi tidak secara langsung menurunkan niat tersebut. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi perusahaan dan institusi pendidikan untuk memperhatikan manajemen stres dan burnout, serta mendukung kesejahteraan mahasiswa pekerja part-time guna menekan tingkat turnover intention.   This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, job burnout, and work-life balance on turnover intention among part-time working students in Samarinda. The research background is based on the increasing number of students working part-time in Samarinda, who face challenges in balancing academic and work demands, leading to potential stress, burnout, and an intention to leave their jobs. The research method is quantitative with a survey approach, involving 404 part-time student respondents selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, as well as validity and reliability tests for the instruments. The results show that work stress and job burnout have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, while work-life balance does not have a significant effect on turnover intention among part-time students in Samarinda. These findings confirm that work pressure and emotional exhaustion are the main factors driving students to consider leaving their part-time jobs, whereas balance between work and personal life does not directly reduce such intentions. This study provides important implications for companies and educational institutions to pay attention to stress and burnout management, as well as supporting the well-being of part-time working students to reduce turnover intention.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of compensation and burnout on turnover intention among part-time university students. As academic and job demands increase, student workers often face emotional strain and exhaustion, which may lead to a desire to leave their jobs. Data were collected through a survey of part-time student workers in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The results indicate that fair and satisfactory compensation can reduce turnover intention, while high levels of burnout tend to increase it. These findings highlight the importance of recognizing both psychological well-being and fair rewards in supporting student worker retention. The study offers practical insights for educational institutions and employers to create more supportive and flexible work environments for students balancing study and work.

Abstract

Employee work motivation is an important factor in increasing productivity and achieving organizational goals, which can be influenced by a pleasant work environment and a strong organizational culture. This study aims to determine the work environment and organizational culture on the work motivation of employees of PDAM Tirta Kencana, Samarinda City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Forms to respondents who are permanent employees of PDAM Tirta Kencana, Samarinda City. The study population was 412 respondents and the sample was determined as many as 203 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using instrument testing, classical acceptance testing, multiple linear regression testing and hypothesis testing. The results of the study showed that: (i) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, (ii) organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, and (iii) both independent variables, namely the work environment and organizational culture simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. These results indicate that companies need to create a conducive work environment and build a healthy organizational culture in order to increase employee work motivation sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work motivation on teacher performance, the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, and the effect of work motivation and work environment together on the performance teachers of SMPN 7 Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a saturated sample approach, namely the entire teacher population at SMPN 7 Samarinda totaling 47 people are used as research respondents. The results of this study show that work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance, then the results of the work environment do not have a significant effect on teacher performance, and the final results show that work motivation and work environment together have a significant effect on the performance of teachers SMPN 7 Samarinda.
