Abstract

Kawasan pesisir Teluk Tomini memiliki kekayaan budaya yang sangat berharga, termasuk tradisi Me’eraji yang unik dan sarat makna. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman dan arus globalisasi, tradisi ini mulai terancam punah karena semakin minimnya minat generasi muda dalam mempelajari budaya lokal. Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk melestarikan dan menghidupkan kembali tradisi Me’eraji adalah melalui pelatihan Me’eraji berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat Desa Sipatana, Kecamatan Buntulia. Setelah itu, pelatihan Me’eraji berbasis Artificial intelligence dilakukan bersama karang taruna. Dengan menggunakan teknologi Artificial intelligence, dibuat simulasi dan pelatihan yang inovatif dan kreatif. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diperoleh perubahan yang sesuai dengan target luaran yang telah ditetapkan yaitu meningkatnya minat anak-anak dalam mempelajari tradisi Me’eraji dan bertambahnya pengetahuan mereka terkait teknologi berupa Artificial intelligence. Seiring bertumbuhnya minat anak dalam mempelajari Me’eraji , teridentifikasi pula sikap memahami dan menghargai budaya lokal.

Abstract

Evaluation is always an interesting topic to study, this study highlights the ability of MAN 2 Jember teachers to create or utilize digital applications to conduct evaluations. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The results of the questionnaire showed that 100% of teachers were interested in learning Blooket after conducting a simulation at the beginning of the implementation and felt that the application of Blooket for this evaluation had proven to increase their understanding of culture in Jember Regency as a cultural response and became one of the fun learning efforts by implementing gamification content. In addition, only 34.5% of the total 65.5% of teachers have used digitalization in learning evaluations so that similar training or socialization is still needed in schools. In conclusion, teachers need many practitioners to carry out similar activities in the counseling of learning applications to support learning activities and welcome the 5.0 revolution

Abstract

Technology is capable of providing ease in all aspects; however, in reality, in the school environment, technology has not been fully utilized. Based on this premise, this research will utilize the Arunika Eaducation application, which is based on virtual reality, in teaching anecdotal texts. The method used in this research is the R&D method. The results of this research indicate that the Arunika Eaducation application based on virtual reality is suitable for use by teachers in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study reveals the representation of psychological aspects in the poem "Kenangan dan Kesepian" by W.S. Rendra through Carl Gustav Jung's psychoanalytic approach, especially within the framework of personality typology. Poetry as a form of literary work is often a medium to express the author's inner experiences and emotions. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a focus on Jung's personality system which includes consciousness, unconsciousness, attitude, and soul function, especially the function of feelings. The results of the analysis show that the poem reflects the poet's introverted personality, namely expressing longing, loneliness, and contemplation of past memories through melancholic symbols and images.

Abstract

Violence against women remains a serious issue in society, both in the domestic and public spheres, and is often represented in literary works, including drama scripts. This study analyzes the drama script "Rajam (Pelempar Batu Pertama)" by Idham Ardi Nurcahyo, which depicts the bitter reality of women in a patriarchal society. Through a feminist approach, this study identifies various forms of gender violence experienced by female characters, including sexual violence in marriage, victim-blaming, and symbolic violence. In addition, the role of society in perpetuating gender violence is also explored, especially through mechanisms of social judgment, the spread of irresponsible information (cyberbullying), and gender inequality in responding to cases of violence. The results of the analysis show that society contributes to strengthening patriarchal norms that are detrimental to women. Thus, this script not only serves as a critique of the practice of gender violence, but also as an invitation to reflect on and change discriminatory mindsets and behaviors in society. This research is expected to provide deeper insight into the importance of creating a more just and safe environment for women.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the semiotic meaning in the poem Tak Sepadan by Chairil Anwar using Ferdinand de Saussure’s theory. The poem was chosen due to its rich symbols and signs that depict emotional conflict and inequality in love. Saussure’s semiotic approach, which divides signs into two main components: the signifier and the signified, is applied to systematically analyze the linguistic relations within the poem. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a textual analysis technique. Data were collected through in-depth reading and identification of linguistic signs functioning as signifiers, then interpreted for their signified meanings. The analysis results show that Tak Sepadan contains profound meanings about alienation, suffering, and imbalance in love expressed through symbols such as “Ahasvéros,” “blind wall,” and “the burning fire.” These signifiers form signified concepts that portray the inner torment and marginalization of the poem’s “I” persona. The conclusion confirms that Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic theory is effective in uncovering latent layers of meaning in poetry, especially in analyzing linguistic signs that construct the emotional and philosophical messages of Chairil Anwar. This study also contributes to the development of literary and semiotic studies in the context of modern Indonesian poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hasil belajar menelaah unsur buku fiksi dan buku non fiksi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode card sort dan dampak dari metode ini. Desain penelitian Pra eksperimen menggunakan satu kelas Pretest-Posttest. Metode pengambilan sampel Purposive sampling. Teknik menganalisis data yang di gunakan ialah Statistik deskriptif. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata sebelum menggunakan metode card sort adalah 43,9, dan rata-rata setelah menggunakan metode tersebut adalah 74,9. Selain itu, hasil uji t menunjukkan metode card sort memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar menelaah unsur buku fiksi dan buku non fiksi, dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) adalah 0.005. Kesimpulan Ho ditolak, dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami makna novel Jungkir Balik Dunia Ocha karya Azizahazeha melalui pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menganalisis lima kode Barthes: hermeneutik, semik, simbolik, proaretik, dan gnomik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pembacaan dan pencatatan, lalu dianalisis menggunakan teori semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 10 kutipan kode hermeneutik yang menciptakan misteri, 6 kutipan kode semik yang memperluas makna, 4 kutipan kode simbolik yang menyembunyikan makna, 13 kutipan kode proaretik yang membentuk alur, dan 10 kutipan kode gnomik yang menggambarkan budaya. Kesimpulannya, kompleksitas hubungan interpersonal dan dinamika sosial menjadi tema utama, dipengaruhi oleh simbol, tindakan, dan norma sosial yang membentuk alur cerita.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the procedures for utilizing the Anyflip digital library in reading comprehension learning; 2) the reading comprehension learning outcomes through the utilization of the Anyflip digital library; and 3) the factors influencing students’ reading comprehension outcomes. This study was conducted at MTs. Negeri 2 Bolaang Mongondow Selatan during eight-grade students, with a sample of one class year. The population consisted techniques included observation, interview, and document anaylisis. The instruments of the study consisted of observation sheer, reading comprehension test question, and interview guideline. The reading comprehension assessment referred to the PIRLS indicators, which cover aspects such as locating explicit information, drawing inferences, integrating ideas, and evaluating content. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings show that: 1) the prodecure for utilizing the Anyflip digital library was carried out in three stages; 5 initial activities, 3 core activities of the preparation stage, implemation stage, and evaluation stage, as well as 3 closing activities; 2) the average student reading comprehension scores were 79,54 in the first activity, 80,45 in the second activity, and 80,79 in the third activity; and 3) the factors influencing learning outcomes included students’ prior abilities, teks difficulty levels, infrastucture, internet acsess, and teacher assistance during the digital learning process.
