Abstract

Abstrak : Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong berbagai perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasionalnya, salah satunya melalui sistem informasi pengelolaan inventory. CV. Mulya Baryndo, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan material untuk kebutuhan usaha dan toko, masih menggunakan metode pencatatan persediaan secara semi-manual yang rawan kesalahan dan tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pengelolaan inventory berbasis website dengan penerapan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) guna mengoptimalkan pengelolaan stok barang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di CV. Mulya Baryndo. Sistem dirancang menggunakan framework Laravel dan basis data MySQL, serta menerapkan metode EOQ untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal berdasarkan permintaan tahunan, biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanan. Pengembangan sistem mengikuti metode Agile untuk memastikan sistem fleksibel terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mencatat barang masuk dan keluar, menghitung kebutuhan stok optimal, serta menampilkan data inventori secara real-time. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi pencatatan, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan terkait persediaan di CV. Mulya Baryndo. Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has driven many companies to improve their operational efficiency, one of which is through the implementation of inventory management information systems. CV. Mulya Baryndo, a company engaged in the supply of store and retail equipment, still uses a semi-manual inventory recording method that is prone to errors and inefficiencies. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory management information system by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to optimize stock management. The research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation at CV. Mulya Baryndo. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and applies the EOQ method to determine the optimal order quantity based on annual demand, ordering costs, and storage costs. System development follows the Agile method to ensure flexibility in adapting to changing requirements. The result of this research is a web-based information system capable of recording incoming and outgoing goods, calculating optimal stock needs, and displaying real-time inventory data. This system is expected to improve efficiency, recording accuracy, and support decision-making in inventory management at CV. Mulya Baryndo. Abstract

The problem that occurs in the public service system at Mesuji Timur District is that the process of submitting letters is still carried out manually, resulting in service delays, inefficiency, and a high risk of errors in recording and validating documents. People have to come directly to the district office with physical requirements, which consumes time, effort, and costs. To overcome these issues, this research applies the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method, which consists of the inception, elaboration, construction, and transition phases. The objective of this study is to design and develop a web-based public service information system that facilitates the process of submitting, validating, and printing letters digitally. The results show that the developed system can accelerate the service process, minimize administrative errors, and enable citizens to apply for letters online anytime and anywhere. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the RUP method successfully produces an effective and efficient web-based public service information system that supports the improvement of service quality at Mesuji Timur District.
