Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the role of principal as a motivator in improving the professionalism of teachers' performance in SDN 2 kalirejo pesawaran. Data collection is done by conducting observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis used was qualitative descriptive analysis. The technique of checking the validity of the data used in this study is to use triangulation of sources, that is by comparing the data of observations with the data of interviews and comparing the results of interviews with the contents of a related document. The results of the study show: The role of Headmaster as a Motivator in Improving Teacher Professionalism at SDN 2 Kalirejo Includes: the principal is able to create harmonious working relationships among teachers, able to create harmonious relationships among employees able to apply reward principles, Punishment), able to apply / develop internal and external motivation for school residents. The Role of School Principal As a Motivator in Improving Teacher Professionalism at SDN 2 Kalirejo has been running well, although in the implementation there are still many obstacles and obstacles in each component of madrasa management field. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan tentang peran kepala sekolah sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme kinerja guru di SDN 2 kalirejo pesawaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa kualitatif deksriptif. Adapun teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan triangulasi sumber, yaitu dengan cara membandingkan data hasil pengamatan dengan data hasil wawancara dan membandingkan hasil wawancara dengan isi suatu dokumen yang berkaitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: Peran Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Motivator dalam Meningkatan Profesionalisme Guru di SDN 2 Kalirejo Meliputi : kepala sekolah mampu menciptakan hubungan kerja yang harmonis sesama guru, mampu menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis sesama karyawan mampu menerapkan prinsip penghargaan (reward), mampu menerapkan prinsip hukuman (punishment), mampu menerapkan/mengembangkan motivasi internal dan eksternal bagi warga sekolah. Peran Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Motivator dalam Meningkatan Profesionalisme Guru di SDN 2 Kalirejo sudah berjalan dengan baik, walaupun dalam pelaksanaan masih banyak kendala maupun hambatan pada masing-masing komponen bidang manajemen madrasah. Kata Kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Motivator, Profesionalisme Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Optical sensors have more capabilities than electronic sensors, and therefore provide extraordinary developments, including high sensitivity, non-susceptibility to electromagnetic wave disturbances, small size, and multiplexing. Furthermore, fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is an optical sensor with a periodically changing grating refractive index, susceptible to strain and temperature changes. As a sensor, FBG’s performance required to optimize and improve the numerical apodization function and affect the effective refractive index is considered. The grating fiber’s apodization function can narrow the full width half maximum (FWHM) and reduce the optical signal’s side lobes. In all the apodization functions operated by FBG, Blackman has the highest sensitivity of 15.37143 pm/°C, followed by Hamming and Gaussian, with 13.71429 pm/°C and 13.70857 pm/°C, respectively, and Uniform grating fiber with the lowest sensitivity of 12.40571 pm/°C. Hamming, Uniform, and Blackman discovered the sensitivity for a strain to be 1.17, 1.16, and 1.167 pm/microstrain, respectively. The results obtained indicated that apodization could increase FBG’s sensitivity to temperature and strain sensors. For instance, in terms of other parameters, FWHM width, Hamming had the narrowest value of 0.6 nm, followed by Blackman with 0.612 nm, while Uniform had the widest FWHM of 1.9546 nm.

Abstract

Utilization fiber optics macro-bending will be useful for non-destructive applications, such as a mass measurement device. This research, therefore, analyzes the fiber optic power loss due to macro bending by mass loading and explores its possible application as an instrument of mass scale. A single-mode fiber (SMF) with a core diameter of 8.2μm and laser with a wavelength of 1310 nm and 1550 nm are used in this  work. Moreover, an optical power meter with a sensitivity of 0.01dBm is applied as the detector while power loss is determined using nine bending cylinders that can produce eighteen bends with a roundtrip system. It is  obtaineda correlation coefficient R2of 0.9910 and 0.9959 corresponding to a sigmoid of 4 parameters for two-wavelength sources of 1310nm and 1550nm, respectively. The results showed mass suppression can produce a power loss with a relatively small error of 19.60%, 11.23%, 0.20%, 3.74%, and 9.36% for mass 300g, 600g, 100 g, 1400g, and 1800g, respectively

Abstract

Paper ini melaporkan sebuah desain sensor optik untuk deteksi kandungan glatin babi menggunakan prinsip penggandeng dan interferometer optik. Peralatan ini difabrikasi dengan meggandengkan sebuah ring resonansi (ring resonator) pada salah satu lengan interferometer MachZehnder, sedangkan satu lengan yang lain dijadikan sebagai referensi. Ekperimen set up dilakukan dengan menembakkan 1 mW laser diode ke terminal input dan signal keluaran di kedua terminal output dideteksi menggunakan pengukur daya optik. Persamaan propagasi gelombang cahaya pada konfigurasi pandu gelombang diturunkan berdasarkan teori mod kopling menggunakan metode transfer matrix. Persamaan-persamaan ini akan digunakan untuk menentukan parameter fabrikasi seperti koeffisien penggandeng, rasio penggandeng dan sensitivitas sensor. Dengan meletakkan beberapa sampel (Es krim magnum, , coklat cadbury cair, dan saos kemasan) pada area sensing (pada pandu gelombang ring resonan) menghasilkan karakteristik gelombang masing-masing sampel. Telah didapati kemiripan fingerprint antara minyak babi dan coklat cadbury cair dengan karakteristik gelatin babi. Hal ini memberi informasi penting bagi konsumen bahwa cadburry cair menggandung gelatin babi dan dapat dikategorikan sebagai makanan haram sebagai mana yang telah ditetapkan dalam Alquran surat Al Maidah ayat 3.

Abstract

The study of soliton trapped in 2X2 directional fiber coupler is reported. By introducing an optical signal with high intensity into two cores of directional fiber coupler will create the soliton pulse in that coupling region. Soliton can carry the data in an extended distance without distortion with high-speed, so that it is promising an ideal communication system in a long distance. In its propagation, the loss was still appears. It is caused by the trapping of soliton pulses at the coupling region so that the collision take placed.The collision of two coupled solitons was determined from the Non-linear Schroodinger Equation (NLSE) based on the Coupling Mode Theory (CMT). The distance of collision can be reduced by decreasing the separation of the two soliton pulses. Another way can be done by choosing a value of medium misalignment saturation H. for the value of H=0.1, it can be seen clearly that length of pulse propagating more broaden. The relationship between the amplitude and width of a soliton is also investigated. It is found that increasing the width, the amplitude also increases. However, the knowledge of collision between two trapped solitonsis important and promises a good application forthe optical switching.

Abstract

Microring resonators have emerged in the past few years in integrated optics and have been used extensively in many fields due to its advantages. The response from coupled ring resonators can be custom designed by the use of different coupling configurations [1]. In certain cases, ring resonators can be used as wavelength filter when the wavelength fits a whole multiple times in the circumference of the ring [5,6]. In this paper, we compare and contrast the effect of light propagation/ power distribution characteristics associated with ring configurations. We have limited our study to side-coupled integrated space sequence of resonators or as known as SCISSORs using OptiFDTD Photonics Simulation Software V8.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify and analyze about The Effect Of Information Technology Utilization, Human Resources Quality, Acounting Internal Control and Comitmen Organisation to the reliability of financial reporting. This study was conducted in OPD Rokan Hilir. Data used in this research is primary data with questionnaire as instrument. The method used in sample selection is sensus sampling. The number of samples in this study was 81 respondents. Hypothesis test used in this research is statistical t test. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear analysis using Statistical product and service solution (SPSS) version 20.0. The results show that Information Technology Utilization, Human Resources Quality, Acounting Internal Control and Comitmen Organisation have a positive effect to the reliability of financial reporting.Keywords : Information Technology Utilization, Human Resources Quality, Acounting Internal Control,Comitmen Organisation, reliability offinancialreporting.

Abstract

The effect of dispersion will interfere with the signal transmission. Several ways can be done in compensating the dispersion such as by utilizing dispersion compensator fiber (DCF) or chirp fiber Bragg grating (CFBG). The dispersion compensation schemes with DCF are expensive and it also causes nonlinear optical effects, meanwhile, the CFBG can reduce costs and promise better results. In this study, an Apodization Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating (ACFBG) has been developed as a dispersion compensator with Optisystem with non-return to zero (NRZ) 20 Gbps. It is found that the Gaussian Cubic-CFBG apodization with a size of 90 mm had the highest Q-factor evaluation of  20,776 dB for a 250 km dispersion compensation scheme. this result is much larger than the previous CFBG dispersion compensation scheme. This study also confirmed that the Gaussian Apodization was the best profile compared to Tanh Apodization, from the evaluation of the Q-factor, Tanh cubic-CFBG only obtained a Q-factor of 9.6 dB. Certainly, the high performance of ACFBG as a dispersion compensator is very useful to support optical communication systems

Abstract

This paper reports the implementation of the STEM learning strategy to the 20 physics students on optical physics concepts. Previously, student understanding on this subject was categorized as weak, this was caused by not only learning just carried out theoretically but also the student's limitation to figure out the optical phenomenon. This research is to identify the student learning outcomes before and after STEM implementation by using simple experimental work with a set of pre-test and post-test. The calculation results show that the student's outcome has a medium enhancement which is about 0.53. Certainly, a Stem learning strategy is a good choice as a teaching strategy in the Optical Physics subject.

Abstract

In this work we carried out a numerical simulation with software Optigrating for Apodization chirped fiber Bragg grating (CFBG) with TOPAS material to improve sensitivity sensor, it was found that CFBG with a grating length of 50 mm has advantages in terms of ripple factor, side lobe left (SLL), and side lobe right (SLR) with values of -0,998 and -10,5264 dB, respectively. While the 10 mm CFBG has a narrower full-width half maximum (FWHM) with a value of 0.4528 nm. Tanh and Gaussian apodization were arranged in the CFBG design, it was found that the Tanh linear-CFBG had a narrow FWHM but for the ripple factor and the main lobe and side lobes were not good enough compared to the Tanh Cubicroot-CFBG, and the same pattern was also obtained in the Gaussian apodization. The narrow FWHM indicates the accuracy in detecting temperature, as well as the suppression of SLL and SLR. for the effect of apodization on CFBG it was found that The Tanh Linear-CFBG design with TOPAS material has the highest sensitivity which is -51.76 pm/oC compared to other designs.
