Abstract

The implementation of community service using agricultural biomass through the Utilization of Corn and Soybeans’straw using the fermentation method for ruminant livestock feed, was carried out in Jatiwates Village, Tembelang District, Jombang. The activity will be carried out in October 2021. The objectives of the implementation of community service are; 1) introduce about the use of agricultural production waste as raw material for ruminants using the fermentation method, and 2) grow the interest of farmers and ranchers to develop the potential of agricultural production waste in their environment to be economical and environmentally friendly. The target audience who participates in community service are farmers who are members of the Jatiwates Village group, and some of them are also ruminant breeders. Steps The activities carried out consist of 1) Observation, 2) lecture, 3) practice/training, and 4 ) evaluation. The implementation of community service by the Unwaha Team regarding the Utilization of Corn and Soybean’s straw as raw materials for ruminant animal feed in Jatiwates Village, Tembelang District, Jombang, obtained quite good results. Agricultural waste treatment using the fermentation method needs to be socialized to the public. The hope for this activity is that the community will be more aware of the opportunities for utilizing agricultural waste among the community to be useful and have economic potential

Abstract

Utilization of Gadung Tubers (Dioscorea hispida) for Control of Rats, was carried out in Jatiwates Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency, from Octobe, 28 to Novembe, 08 2021. The partner for emporwerment community activities is the Farmers Group Association (GAPOKTAN) Jatiwates Village, Tembelang District. While the target audience is the farmers who are members of the farmer group as many as 25 participants. The objectives are; 1) provide information about the use of gadung tuber as raw material for controlling rat pests, 2) increase development in utilizing gadung tuber extract for controlling rats in food crops in Jatiwates Village, Tembelang District. The expected outputs are; 1) the farming community can know about the use of gadung tubers as raw material for controlling rat pests, 2) the use of gadung tuber extract for controlling rats, is expected to help and complete strategies for controlling rats to the maximum and reducing the impact of poisoning and environmental pollution. The results of the activity resulted in a fairly good difference in knowledge and skills after the target audience received socialization and training, namely 37% and 19%. The attitude towards the effectiveness of the rat birth control pill was around 15%. Further these implementation needs to be done in providing information and training on rat pest control strategies to farmers. In addition, testing the success of this rat birth control pill needs to be done, considering that environmental factors such as rainfall and stagnant water affect the effectiveness of giving birth control pills.

Abstract

Kesulitan pendampingan belajar oleh orangtua juga ditemui pada mata pelajaran tertentu yang dirasa sulit seperti matematika, dan bahasa Inggris. Sehingga apabila materi yang sulit dan disampaikan dengan media yang susah dipahami membuat siswa Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Desa Gondangmanis kurang antusias ketika belajar online. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya rasa ketertarikan dan kurangnya perhatian siswa untuk mengikuti pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung. Selain itu materi yang disampaikan tidak dapat diserap dengan baik karena media yang digunakan oleh guru kurang menarik atau bersifat monoton. Ketika hal ini terjadi pada tahap pembelajaran dasar siswa akan mengalami kesulitan mengikuti materi-materi pembelajaran selanjutnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan game edukasi untuk proses belajar online yang menyenangkan dan memiliki tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan dan pemahaman siswa dengan mudah dan menyenangkan melalui game edukasi “Happily Learn”, membantu proses pendampingan belajar melalui pemanfaatan media belajar game edukasi “Happily Learn”. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bermanfaat memberikan tambahan wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai belajar mudah dan menyenangkan, menumbuhkan semangat motivasi belajar siswa SD dan MI di Desa Gondangmanis, membantu guru untuk memberikan media yang disukai siswa, dapat digunakan dengan mudah, menyenangkan dan dapat mudah untuk memahami materi yang diberikan.

Abstract

Keamanan pangan menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam penyediaan pangan sehat bagi keluarga. Keberadaan boraks yang marak ditemukan dalam bahan pangan menjadi salah satu ancaman keamanan pangan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman terkait pentingnya keamanan pangan bagi keluarga dan cara mendeteksi kandungan boraks melalui penggunaan test kit boraks. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan November 2021 dengan sasaran ibu kader PKK Desa Jatiwates Kecamatan Tembelang Kabupaten Jombang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri atas beberapa tahapan antara lain survei awal mitra, perancangan alat test kits boraks dan sosialisasi test kit boraks pada mitra. Kegiatan sosialiasi test kit boraks memberikan dampak dalam peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap pentingnya aspek keamanan pangan bagi keluarga. Selain itu kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman langsung terkait deteksi kandungan boraks secara murah dan efisien. Peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini karena sifat teknologi yang digunakan cukup mudah untuk diadopsi oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

The number of writings such as novels that are interesting and can be published for the public and has a selling point usually can only be read through school wall magazine makes the work less useful and less desirable. In this case on campus, UNWAHA has some wall magazine that contains many interesting writings such as novels, short stories, and others, but the works received less response and interest from students by providing a media or container that is easy and appropriate can be used as a solution to increase the interest of a writer and reader in publishing and enjoying a paper. And the media is Digital Library, a digital library application equipped with a Text to speech feature to attract readers. This research aims to design and build the digital library application on a website basis. The application is built with the Codeigniter framework while the database used is the MySQL. And from the User side of either Author or Reader, they can easily publish their work and they can also enjoy the work easily.

Abstract

Job vacancies are important information needed by college graduates, especially KH University students. A. Wahab Hasbullah (UNWAHA) Jombang to get a job so that it can improve the family economy. However, information about jobs with specifications that are scattered and not centralized makes it difficult for university graduates to access it. To overcome this, it is necessary to have a container that is able to accommodate this information which will make it easier for graduates to find work through information centered on job vacancies websites and be able to recommend job vacancies that are in accordance with the skills possessed by graduates. Making this application using the waterfall method, the waterfall method or waterfall method is a system design method that reflects structured basic development activities. The application that will be made is based on a website that produces a website as a repository for job vacancies. This application uses HTML, MySQL and PHP programming languages. The CodeIgniter 3 framework in website-based application development is compatibility with hosting, which is better and easier to integrate, making it suitable for website development.

Abstract

Orang tua merupakan tokoh sentral dalam tahap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, dimana semua aspek yang dimiliki orang tua akan berpengaruh terhadap anak. Sayangnya masih banyak orang tua ynag belum memahami pola asuh yang benar dan tepat. Tujuan workshop ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman orangtua di Desa Jatiwates Kecamatan Tembelang Kabupaten Jombang khususnya ibu-ibu wali murid Kelompok Bermain dan Taman Kanak-kanak. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 29 September 2022 yang diikuti 27 wali murid. Kegiatan workshop menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil workshop menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta meningkat terkait dengan pola efektivitas pengasuhan anak usia dini meningkat.

Abstract

Categories are part of the classification system (group, rank type and so on). In an integrated mapping system, a lot of data and mapping types make it difficult to search for data if you have to select one by one. A search system was created to simplify the search, which also contained categories. Mapping Categories can make it easier to search for mappings according to their respective categories. Therefore the design of mapping categories in this geographic information system makes how to enter categories in mapping, which can then be displayed in adding category names so that data on category names can be displayed in tabular form in category searches. In searching for categories, users can not only fill in one category in the search column but in more than one category. However, the name entered in the search column must match the category name; if it does not, the category name will not be displayed in the category names table. This method can help users find mappings that are similar or related to what they need. Please adjust the image so that it reads well to the reader

Abstract

The problem that is often faced by village government officials in terms of efficiency and improving performance is the lack of skills in managing records so that public services are not optimal. Efforts are being made to build an information system in the form of website communication media and a village information system so that it can assist and improve the performance of village officials. Implementation of community service in the form of SID website design activities developed in Bedah Lawak Village, Tembelang District, Jombang Regency using a simple interface design. Furthermore, socialization, mentoring, and evaluation of activities are carried out to see the sustainability of the community service program. This service activity succeeded in designing the SID website and socialization was carried out in general the village community was very enthusiastic and very helpful in the performance of village officials. This website is able to provide information for the village community and support the performance of village officials for easy access to public services. The results of the SID Web seminar showed that 37% of the people were satisfied and 50% were very satisfied with the existence of the village website and were able to improve the performance of village officials by 67%. This shows that the SID website is very helpful for the community in accessing information and providing easy service to administrative needs in the village. In addition, the SID website is able to improve the performance of the village apparatus in serving the needs of the community.

Abstract

Purpose: This study addresses the shift from conventional to Digital Marketing strategies in Jatiwates village, Jombang, East Java, in response to pandemic-induced marketing challenges. The research explores the impact of Digital Marketing training on local agricultural promotion, emphasizing its practical significance and economic sustainability. Method: Employing qualitative methods, this research investigates the efficacy of Digital Marketing training through direct engagement, observations, and interviews. Thematic analysis reveals insights into the transition's outcomes and practical implications. Practical Applications: The study highlights how Digital Marketing adoption benefits rural communities reliant on agriculture, enhancing market reach and cost-effectiveness. The findings underscore its potential for similar sectors and geographies, aiding pandemic resilience and sustainable development. Conclusion: The research shows that Digital Marketing training empowers communities like Jatiwates, enabling adaptation to dynamic conditions and improved economic prospects. Embracing digital strategies becomes pivotal for rural development, contributing to practical insights into Digital Marketing's contextual relevance and fostering resilience.
