Abstract

Routers provide the ability to filter traffic, such as blocking Internet traffic, with access Control Lists (ACLs). ACL is a list of a series of licensing or rejection statement applied to the network address or protocol layer on top. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the access control list in the area of network computer in Batamindo Industrial Park Batam. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. The samples are 101 IT employees in Batamindo Industrial Park Batam. And in the formulation of the problem obtained from this research is to determine how the benefits of the use of access control lists. The results obtained are perceived first access control list useful, both instrumental Well Network computer, So with this research writer and IT Employees in the Company may determine that the use of access control lists is very important for computer networks in the area Batamindo Industrial Park Batam.

Abstract

In a work process in companies, employees spearhead the first in the production process. Competencies possessed by each employee will show the quality of employees in performing their duties. It aims to look at the extent of competences of the employees, improvement and supervision competencies for employees. So that corporate leaders can make decisions choosing the best of the best employees. Assessment was conducted on the motive, knowledge, skills, and self-concept. So far there is no system that can be used to determine how big the competency of employees. therefore, this study used a system of decision-making using fuzzy logic with  Sugeno method zero-orde for assessing the competence of employees in PT Schneider Batam. For the processing of data using MATLAB. The first step completion of competence assessment of employees using Sugeno that determines the input variables and output variables are set firmly, the second step is to convert the input variable into fuzzy sets with the process of fuzzification.

Abstract

Batam is one of the most advanced industrial cities in the western part of Indonesia. The industry in Batam City is divided into heavy industry and light industry. Heavy industry is dominated by shipyard industry, metal industry, steel industry and so on. While the light industry includes the electronics industry, garment industry, plastic industry and so on. Industrial locations in Batam City are scattered in several places that are tailored to the type and yield of the company. One of the health factors that occurred in the city of Batam, namely there are still many children who experience malnutrition. Malnutrition is a body or body that experiences malnutrition for a long time and generally occurs in children, malnutrition in children is caused by a lack of balanced nutritious food intake, besides that it can also be caused by certain diseases that cause disruption of the process digestion of food or disruption of absorption of important nutrients needed by the body. In the world of Bad Nutrition health is called Heavy Protein Energy Malnutrition (MEP), the solution to this problem is using fuzzy logic with the Sugeno method. This method uses constants or mathematical functions from input variables, and in the defuzzification process uses a centralized average method. The output value of malnutrition status is 83.85 which means it is not included in malnutrition status.

Abstract

 This study aims to provide an initial analysis of how Indonesia in the post-truth era is becoming a world threat. Modern countries such as America and Britain can be ruined by post-truth storms, this is an alarm for the Indonesian people. The potential threats are of course different and in fact seen from the very diverse social situation of Indonesian people (ethnicity, religion, language, culture) the potential threats will be more dangerous if there is no good mitigation. Study literature the researchers use to provide a baseline analysis that occurs, to further deepen based on the current situation through the exploration of information from credible media. The pattern of hoax news dissemination through social media received by the people of Indonesia and the results of surveys from various survey institutions give a clear picture that Indonesia is also not immune to the post-truth tsunami. The main medium of post-truth is alternative media, and post-truth is constrained if media literacy and fact-checking become a culture of community communication.

Abstract

SDN 001 Sekupang adalah Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terletak di Kelurahan Tanjung Riau Kecamatan Sekupang Kota Batam. SDN 001 Sekupang telah memanfaatkan internet dalam melakukan aktifitas kerja dengan total bandwidth 20Mbps. Tingginya akses user mengakses internet, membuat koneksi menjadi tidak stabil, yang membuat peforma menjadi cepat ataupun lambat serta banyaknya user menggunakan bandwidth secara bersamaan sehingga terjadi tarik menarik bandwidth yang mengakibatkan penurunan peforma terhadap jaringan internet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengoptimalkan dan memaksimalkan bandwidth yang ada agar bandwidth yang tersedia dapat digunakan secara merata dan adil. Untuk itu perlu dibangun sebuah metode untuk authentikasi keamanan dan manajemen bandwidth yang menggunakan mikrotik routerboard dengan menerapkan metode simple queue. Untuk pengimplementasi dilakukan dengan cara melakukan konfigurasi router mikrotik serta melakukan pengujian langsung yang dibantu dengan menggunakan speedtest.cbn.net.id. Dengan telah diterapkannya authentikasi keamanan dan manajemen bandwidth menggunakan mikrotik routerboard hasil pengujian yang didapatkan dalam menerapkan metode simple queue cukup baik dan masing-masing komputer mendapatkan bandwidth secara adil dan merata dan membuat peforma dari masing-masing komputer menjadi stabil.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and provide a solutive proposal to the payroll system at St. Elisabeth Hospital which is not implemented an integrated system and still uses manual calculations. By Using Database Management System and designing web based interface then payroll system become more effective and efficient. Integrated system solves data redundancy problems and integrates payroll sub-sub systems. Integrated process allows for the integration of reports with fast processing and minimizing problems caused by human error. The effectiveness and efficiency of the payroll system will have an impact on optimal hospital services.

Abstract

Media internet digunakan sebagai media mengirim dan menerima data. Sebagai jaringan yang luas dan dapat diakses oleh siapapun, tidak semua data boleh diakses oleh siapa saja, sehingga manajemen dan keamanan jaringan sangat diperlukan. Akan tetapi, masih sering ditemui jaringan yang telah memiliki sistem keamanan didalamya seperti di SMKN 5 Kota Batam namun masih kurang optimal sebab kurangnya pengetahuan pihak pengelola serta mahalnya firewall yang dapat diterapkan pada server jaringan tersebut. Honeypot merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat diimplementasikan sebagai proteksi server karena efisien dan ekonomis tanpa mengorbankan kualitas pengamanan yang ditawarkan pada jaringan yang memakainya. Tool yang digunakan untuk membantu implementasi honeypot pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi cowrie yang telah dikembangkan dan di instal pada ubuntu 16.04 desktop (pengujian berbasis scan dengan zenmap). Hasil dari penelitian menemukan bahwa implementasi dari cowrie dalam pengamanan virtual private server berhasil dan efektif diterapkan sebagai mekanisme pertahanan atas penyerangan yang dilakukan oleh attacker.

Abstract

PT. Alumindo Multi Persada merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa konstruksi di Kota Batam. Saat ini pertukaran informasi dan pertukaran data melalui surat elektronik atau Email adalah metode yang paling sering digunakan oleh sebagian besar perusahaan. Sebelumnya, perusahaan tersebut menggunakan layanan email pihak ketiga yang kita kenal sebagai gmail serta menggunakan domain yang disediakan dari pihak ketiga sebagai identitas email mereka. Penggunaan layanan email pihak ketiga tidak terlalu efisien karena ada campur tangan pihak ketiga dalam email mereka. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan akan membutuhkan mail server pribadi untuk mengelola email mereka secara private. Dengan mail server pribadi, perusahaan tersebut dapat menggunakan domain mereka sendiri sebagai identitas email untuk memperkuat brand perusahaannya dan apabila jika terjadi error pada mail server dapat segera diatasi oleh support dari perusahaannya. Dalam penelitian ini, Microsoft Exchange Server akan dikonfigurasi sebagai mail server utama dan Postfix sebagai mail server relay. Mail server utama akan digunakan untuk manajemen pengguna dan transmisi email internal dan mail server relay menangani transmisi email external (Public). Mail server dan domain hosting dikonfigurasi SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), dan DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting Conformance) agar tidak dianggap sebagai SPAM dan tidak diblacklist oleh mail server external.

Abstract

The development of increasingly modern times like now, has make us to always be inspired and provide new ideas in developing appropriate and advanced technology, then it needs a tool that can help humans to facilitate access to obtain information, one of them is home security information, because not a few criminal acts that occur in our homes when we are outside, then more supervision is needed, so with that problem created the idea to make a tool (smart cctv) as our home monitor by utilizing the telegram application as a remote controller, serial camera VC0706 as a media image capture, and using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as the controller. After the prototype test results which is conducted each function of each component used already functions in the order specified, when the device is activated NodeMCU ESP8266 will be directly connected to the specified Wi-Fi network, a camera connected to a surveillance monitor can also automatically take pictures at the same time and send images to the Telegram application when the sensor detects movement, the buzzer will also automatically ring so that it can provide information to those around that at our house there is a crime attempt.

Abstract

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a diversion program undertaken by the government and become a modern household items today. The risk of the use of LPG is leakage of gas tube or gas hose. Gas leakage can couse explosion or fire resulting in many deaths and injuries. Governments have to disseminate the home safety of LPG and train how to mitigate household accident. This work aimed to minimize the possibility of fire and created a tool that is able to detect leakage of LPG  using gas sensor and Arduino Uno. We create a mechanical design diagram as a model that illustrates the relationships between sub-systems. When the sensor detects the LPG gas, the system activates the relay and indicator lights. In addition, this tool can send SMS in case of leakage of gas, so that action can be done quickly to stop the gas flow.
