Abstract

Mitra Center is one of the residential areas in Sagulung District with a small area located in Kel. Sungai Langkai, Kec.Sagulung, Riau Islands, Batam City. Wired network infrastructure that is only provided by one ISP in this location has disappointed residents becouse has been limited. As a result residents buy a GSM data package that is also not cheap. Therefore researchers try to build a network based on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Residents registered in this place are more or less 40 family cards (KK), the location of this place is classified as small and not extensive, which only has 4 blocks residential area. After conducting observations and interviews with several residents, consumption of internet access is relatively high, they are commonly complained when using GSM data packages becouse is not enough to buy once a month. Some of them interested using the wired internet provided by ISP like Indihome, but currently the available network is empty. Therefore, researchers designed a WLAN by utilizing an indihome connection that would be upgraded to 50Mbps to be allocated to WLAN users with a fair usage and optimization sharing mechanism, and adjusting needs based on data obtained during the data collection.

Abstract

This study designed a Fiber to the home (FTTH) network using gigabit passive optical network (GPON) technology. The network design is carried out in the Uma Cape area, the Tanjung Tritip area with parameter values ​​in accordance with the Proxynet standard as a company that will build a FTTH network at the research location. This study aims to design the FTTH network and calculate the link power budget, rise time, power receive and required traffic capacity. The design in Tanjung Triptin consists of 1 OLT, I ODC, 10 ODP in each area designed. There are 55 customers consisting of 52 houses, 1 school, 1 shop house and 1 mosque with a total traffic of 290.2 Mbps which can be covered by 1 OLT. The link power budget is used to obtain the amount of attenuation. The standard amount of attenuation from the Proxynet is 28 dBm. The results of the calculation of the Link Power Budget for each customer still meet the damping standards set by Proxynet, which is 28 dB. In this study, the greatest attenuation value was obtained in the uplink path of 26.21 dB, and on the downlink line of 26.01 dB. The power recieve (Pr) value obtained on the uplink path is -10.53 while the downlink path is -10.51. Based on the calculation of Rise time system, the highest value is 0.250 ns. This value is in accordance with the expectations below 0.583 ns.

Abstract

PT. Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi has several employees scattered in several rooms. Communication media is the most important way to maintain communication between employees. Previously, the communication media used in PT Batam Bintan Telecommunication was a PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) phone, but in the PT. Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi has several employees scattered in several rooms. Communication media is the most important way to maintain communication between employees. Previously, the communication media used in PT Batam Bintan Telecommunication was a PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) phone, but in the implementation of PABX the phone is not optimal because each room has only one PABX Line while in one room consists of eight employees. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize communication system between employees of PT Batam Bintan telecommunications. Communication system optimization is done by implementing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) as pabx replacement communication media. Voip is implemented using Trixbox server, SIP phone, Zoiper, MicroSIP as an application to make calls on client computers and VPN as security between clients. Each employee will be created a VoIP account that is listed on the trixboxx server by providing a telephone number and password on the VoIP account.Based on the results of the study, the application of VoIP on computers in the PT environment. Batam Bintan telecommunications connected by Trixbox server, VoIP can facilitate communication between employees that is useful to support employee performance. With this VoIP is expected to replace the previous communication used in PT. Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi is by replacing PABX with VoIP by utilizing internet facilities at PT. Batam Bintan Telecommunications.

Abstract

Air pollution is a problem that is still unresolved. Air pollution can occur due to incomplete combustion of vehicle engines or industrial processes that produce gases that are not good for health. Gaseous compounds contained in polluted air can have a negative impact on health if the levels exceed normal limits. Therefore, this study aims to increase awareness of the importance of healthy air quality, so that people will be more concerned about health and can minimize the risk of breathing harmful air. In this study, an air pollution monitoring tool is offered which not only functions as a monitor but also determines the level of air pollution content. The monitoring system in this study is equipped with an MQ135 sensor which functions as an air pollution detector. The results of air quality monitoring in this study will show 2 conditions of ambient air quality, namely: good and bad. With this information, people can know whether the place is safe or dangerous for their health. The Department of Environment tests gas emissions from two-wheeled to four-wheeled vehicles because many vehicles have emitted gas emissions that can interfere with the air we breathe, besides the broad impact that can interfere with public health, such as asthma, cancer, lung disease. lungs, and so on. Because of this, researchers want to provide awareness to the public about the importance of air health for both pedestrians and those who drive to breathe healthier air.

Abstract

Good bandwidth management makes data access to the maximum the process of sending data is not disturbed and the smoothness of data becomes good in the process of sending data uninterrupted and smooth in accessing the internet. However, with a lage number of partners and customers, as is the company’s abillity to create more added value. good stable internet network in a provider, of course it can greatly support the process of selling services to consumers, of course it is very necessary in the process of accessing information in internet access, in this case a provider is needed in managing the bandwidth distribution system. While the number of customers is large, so a provider must be smart in dividing good bandwidth according to the prioritized customer capacity. The problem that will arise on internet network that do not apply bandwidth management is that all users who are connected to the same network will not get the same capacity and will cause network congestion which interferes with other data traffic so that they cannot maximize the data sending process.

Abstract

The development of telecommunications technology as a communication has grown rapidly. In the rapid development of telecommunications, a transmission media facility is needed that is capable of transmitting information with large capacities and capable data transfer speeds. One of the transmission media that has been used is optical fiber in a telecommunications system called JARKOLAF (Fiber Access Local Network). The development of JARKOLAF used is FTTH (Fiber To The Home) which often experiences an increase in attenuation caused by bad weather conditions. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to diagnose the damage using the forward chaining method.

Abstract

Cv. Celcomindo is a company that relies on computer network technology to support office activities. Even though at the office of Cv. Celcomindo already relies on computer network technology, but the office has not yet designed a virtual private network that will be used to support the needs of the office so that the device in the office can be remotely located. The purpose of the research conducted at the office of Cv. Celcomindo to design a virtual private network in accordance with the expected needs of the office and look for problems that arise during the research process. The virtual private network design is carried out using the L2tp/IPsec protocol method, so that the vpn process that is carried out remains safe from outside attacks. The results of the research carried out in the design of a virtual private network have been successfully designed by testing VPN connections, remotely connecting mikrotik in the office area through the designed VPN network, remotely controlling the tp link wi-fi router configuration page that is used as an access point, ping testing on several devices that connected to the local office network, as well as performing remote desktop testing for file exchange.

Abstract

Hotspot network technology is currently very developed so that it allows the process of managing users on wireless network services. The system manager can manage bandwidth, usage, online duration, concurrent, remaining quota and several other features. AAA (administration, Accounting, Authentication) technology works in a timely manner, after testing this technology, it was found that there were obstacles when managing on a much larger scale. The author uses Radiusdek to solve this problem and is used as a radius server to manage users. The function of user management is to classify users and groups according to their hierarchy. Hotspot network at PT. Batam Bintan Telecommunications is currently still not developed and currently the hotspot network has only been applied to internal offices, because PT Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi is currently still focused on corporate customers and residential customers. It is a pity if it is not developed, especially since PT Batam Bintan Telekomunikasi is located in Batamindo Industrial park, which can make the dormitory area and the area around Batamindo a target for large-scale internet sales. Therefore, the author designed this system to build a hotspot network that can be used by dormitory users and visitors who aim to find work while in Batamindo Industrial park. In this system, users can independently register and select the desired service package without having to contact the admin first

Abstract

This study aims to create a display of innovation systems in managing village funds by preparing vcloud computing-based innovations to manage all data generated so that local governments can help oversee the absorption of village budget funds in realtime and transparency. In this study researchers used qualitative methods because in this study focused on researching objects directly. This research is done by researching directly on innovation system of Batam City area. The research method by interview and observation from secondary data taken from the realization of village fund budget that has been running so as to produce data that can be controlled through cloud server based application. Stages performed in this design using desktop-based Visual studio applications which will be controlled via Client & Server as a controller for processing and processing data. And for the database using postgresSQL database where later technology applications are made will be integrated via the Internet network. The results of this study is to provide a description of desktop system design as a reference to manage the village funds are transparent with the help of cloud server technology so that the data processed and processed can be monitored using the internet. It can also help the urban government to innovate village-based village fund governance governance so that funds that have been prepared and distributed can be controlled quickly, effectively and targeted through technology applications.

Abstract

Berkembangnya aplikasi kini semakin digunakan di banyak perusahaan manufaktur. Perusahaan XS. Auto Garage Batam merupakan salah satu bagian dari perusahaan tersebut, pengelolaan data pegawai masih dilakukan dengan Microsoft Excel untuk melakukan pengelolaan data pegawai yang menjadi salah satu alasan utama performa kinerja pegawai menurun. Maka diperlukan penelitian dan perancangan aplikasi data pegawai untuk perbandingan kinerja pegawai dengan aplikasi pengelolaan data pegawai yang telah dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian ini ialah data pegawai pada Perusahaan XS. Auto Garage Batam dengan tahapan-tahapan yang disusun secara jelas dan terstruktur. Tahapan-tahapan ini ialah identifikasi masalah, Analisa kebutuhan dengan pengumpulan data-data hasil observasi, dan wawancara, serta mengembangkan sistem dengan metode devOps untuk memperoleh hasil sistem secara efisien yang bekerja dan baik di Perusahaan XS. Auto Garage Batam. Maka adanya aplikasi data pegawai ini dapat memudahkan performa kinerja untuk mengelola data pegawai mulai dari rekrutment, rekapitulasi data pegawai , hingga absensi. Namun sebaiknya pemeriksaan terhadap database  yang dibuat harus memenuhi syarat pengelolaan data pegawai yang ada, untuk menghindari data yang tidak rapi serta tidak terstruktur pada database.
