Abstract

Internet networking is a basic requirement for smart devices. The high demand for internet services is a challenge for network administrators. Monitoring of dedicated nodes is often neglected as administrators perform configuration and troubleshooting for customers. Disruptions are often not detected in time resulting in late repairs. Consistent network monitoring is important, but if you are constantly in front of the monitor, work efficiency suffers. Therefore, the author designed a monitoring system to facilitate the job desk of network admins, using the PPPDIO method in the design, where The DUDe can give an alarm when there is a problem, and Bot Telegram sends notifications regarding network continuity, security, and daily data bandwidth.

Abstract

Currently, almost all aspects of life have been reached by technology such as server services, one of which is mail servers. Mail server stands out because it is the most frequently used server function in various fields. However, there are still many organizations and individuals who use third party email services such as Google (gmail.com), Yahoo rather than using the organization's or individual's own domain, one of which is a business at PT. Pundi Mas Berjaya is Jova School. This results in fraud, data leaks, and so on. So research was carried out on developing a Mailu mail server using a Linux Virtual Private Server (VPS) with the aim of overcoming problems in a business by creating a mail server service for the Jova School business at PT. Pundi Mas Berjaya. The research method used in this research is qualitative and uses observation, interview and literature study data collection methods. The results of this research are that you can implement a mail server at Jova School at PT. Pundi Mas Berjaya, improves security, privacy, effectiveness and efficiency in communicating and conveying information.

Abstract

New opportunities to automate everyday devices such as pet feeding have emerged as a result of the use of the Internet of Things (IoT). The focus of this research is the development of an Internet of Things-based Cat Feeder that utilizes the Blynk platform, Kodular, and sensors. Blynk enables remote cat feeding settings through an application that has an easy-to-use interface. Kodular is used as a visual application development platform in this research, allowing application creators who do not have a deep programming background to easily create user interfaces. Sensors integrated in the system collect data on the cat's behavior and diet. This allows owners to better monitor and manage their cat's diet. During the development process, Blynk was used to incorporate remote control, Kodular was used to create the user interface, and sensors were used as data input. The results show that this solution makes feeding cats easier and gives owners better control over the amount of food their pets consume. The no-code/low-code approach used in the development of the app is an advantage of this research as it allows the app to be more accessible to a wide range of users. By using sensors, cat health can be better monitored and owners can better manage their cat's food needs.

Abstract

Nowadays people have trouble farming, because of the limited of spots, so Hyrdoponic was invented, hydroponic is an agriculture technique that replaces dirt as a planting medium with a water-based nutrient solution. In the hydroponic process, every farmer needs to monitor some parameters like TDS Rate, Temperature, and pH in most cases people like to use the old method of monitoring, some problem that we got from the old method is, farmers need to bring measuring tools for every parameter, we will create a monitoring system based on Arduino that farmer can access from distances with using platform name Blynk by internet, for research we using the waterfall method. The result of the research is a monitoring system with Arduino that can connect to a smartphone with the Blynk app on the Internet. We design the UI as simple as possible for farmers that not good at technology can use it easily, the goal of this research is make a product that can monitor hydroponic water tank, the hope we can make monitoring process being fast and easy .

Abstract

ABSTRACT Supporting media in the learning and teaching process is still very lacking, one of which is in the subject of Cultural Arts about regional culture in Indonesia which makes children less motivated and easily bored in learning if they only listen to explanations from teachers and read textbooks. In general, children really like things that are unique in any case, for example in terms of learning, because learning is important to increase childrens’s knowledge. Therefore, researchers want to create an educational game introducing Indonesian culture for children to gerenerasi successor the nation as a learning medium that can increase children's interest in learning to know the culture in Indonesia. The preparation of this game design uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, Unified Modelling Language (UML) to analyze, which consists of Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Sequence Diagram. Researchers also used Construct2 Software to design the game. This game is played by one player in the form of a Quiz. Where players will answer several questions to achieve the highest score that has been achieved before.

Abstract

The shipyard industry is inseparable from work activities using liftting and heavy equipment and is related to liquid oil waste and oil waste treatment system, Oil traps in this case are in line with the SDGS goals in sustainable development to protect the environment. In the object of research, the oil trap system that runs is still done manually both in terms of monitoring and controlling the oil, there is need a technology that able to detect oil in real time based on the Internet Of Things, in this modern era the Internet Of Things has become very common in monitoring and control, another problem is the shipyard industry in the object of research has a very large working area, therefore long range network technology will be the best solution to solving this problem, this study aims to create a system that is able to monitor and ensure the oil trap system runs optimally and realtime in controlling liquid waste in a large work area with the implementation of the Internet Of Things-based LoRa network. Research and Development method used in this research in designing, developing, and testing oil trap monitoring systems is very suitable, effective and efficient. The system consists of LDR and Ultrasonic sensors connected via LoRa network using SX1278 module to send real-time data to Telegram bot. The test results show that the developed monitoring system is able to detect and transmit oil trap condition data accurately, with a wide transmission range. from these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the LoRa network in Internet Of Things-based oil trap monitoring is effective and reliable. This research is expected to contribute to the development of environmental monitoring technology.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought to various sectors, including the logistics and expedition industry. One of the main challenges in this industry is the manual handover process, which often poses risks. Process that is still done manually, which often leads to the risk of administrative errors, lost goods, and late deliveries.administrative errors, loss of goods, and delays in delivery. Lion Parcel, as one of the leading expedition companies in Indonesia, faces similar issues that impact the company's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This research aims to design an Android-based goods handover application that supports Lion Parcel's operational processes.operational process of Lion Parcel courier. This application is designed to record, track, and verify the digital handover of goods.verify the handover of goods digitally. Abstract

Internet needs are increasing and complex in terms of taking up bandwidth by activities on one or several clients who carry out activities such as downloading or uploading files to high-quality video streaming functions is one of the causes of loss of bandwidth. Good bandwidth management is needed to ensure the network runs efficiently, one way is to use MikroTik through the radius authentication method. Radius (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) is a network protocol used to perform authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) on networks that use wireless network connections or internet connections. The use of the Radius Authentication method in implementing bandwidth management on MikroTik also allows network administrators to secure the network from unwanted users. every user can use the internet with a predetermined bandwidth and the radius server works well in carrying out its duties. The conclusion is that the use of the radius server method has succeeded and resulted in a network that is more efficient in bandwidth management.

Abstract

Air pollution is one of the most pressing environmental issues, especially in urban and industrial areas such as Batam City, which experiences high pollution levels due to vehicle and industrial activities. This condition significantly impacts public health, including an increased potential for respiratory diseases, asthma, and lung cancer. Therefore, an effective solution is required to monitor air quality in real-time. This research aims to develop an air pollution detection and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can provide accurate and easily accessible information. The methodology employed in this study includes prototyping and literature review to understand air pollution concepts, IoT, and sensor technologies. The system is designed using MQ-2, MQ-135, and GP2Y1010AU0F sensors to detect harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and particulate matter. The data collected by the sensors is transmitted through an IoT network and displayed on the Telegram application. This application enables users to monitor Track air quality in real-time and get alerts when the air quality changes reaches unhealthy levels. The test results show that the system effectively detects air quality changes. Notifications sent via Telegram align with measurement results displayed on the hardware. This system provides a practical and efficient solution for monitoring air quality in various locations, including industrial areas, urban settings, and public spaces. This research is expected To enhance public awareness of the hazards of air pollution and motivate action to reduce its impact.

Abstract

Kota Batam merupakan kota industri dengan padat pemukiman dan penduduk yang berpotensi terkena bencana kebakaran. Berbagai fasilitas-fasilitas yang dibutuhkan dalam penanggulangan bencana kebakaran telah disediakan oleh pemerintah Kota Batam, salah satunya adalah hydrant. Hydrant adalah fasilitas yang disediakan pemerintah Kota Batam sebagai sumber air pada saat proses pemadaman api. Masalah yang dihadapi yaitu lokasi hydrant yang tidak terpetakan dengan baik dan sulit mencari letak posisinya secara akurat. Apalagi di Kota Batam sedang galaknya pembangunan infrakstruktur yang berujung pada adanya kemungkinan pemindahan letak hydrant. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat rancang bangun aplikasi e-GISH sehingga memudahkan personil pemadam dalam pencarian lokasi hydrant. Selain itu aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan ruang untuk tata-kelola hydrant yang lebih baik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi lansung kelapangan. Wawancara dilakukan dengan tujuan mendapatkan kebutuhan-kebutuhan pihak pemadam untuk dibuat pada aplikasi. Observasi langsung dilakukan untuk mencari koordinat latitude dan longitude hydrant diseluruh Kota Batam dan dimasukkan kedalam database aplikasi. Aplikasi e-GISH dibangun berbasis web dan memanfaatkan layanan google map. Layanan map didapat dari mapcoordinates.net. Untuk database aplikasi dibangun dengan MySql. Rancang bangun aplikasi e-GISH diharapkan sebagai awal mula untuk menyediakan sistem informasi hydrant dan tata kelola hydrant yang lebih baik. e-GISH akan sangat membantu personil pemadam dalam pencarian lokasi hydrant terdekat dengan lokasi kebakaran.
