Abstract

Keamanan merupakan aspek penting dalam membangun sebuah jaringan. Penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi bagi PT PLN Batam sudah menjadi salah satu komponen penting untuk aktifitas pegawai sehari-hari dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu administrator jaringan dalam pengawasan traffic dan pengawasan terhadap aktifitas yang mencurigakan pada PT PLN Batam. Untuk pengawasan terhadap aktifitas yang mencurigakan pada PT PLN Batam maka sistem deteksi penyusup yang penulis gunakan adalah Snort yang berjalan pada Sistem Operasi Linux yaitu Debian, karena Snort bersifat open source dan dapat mendeteksi pola serangan sesuai dengan rules yang telah ada. Penulis menggunakan Snort yang dibantu oleh interface Snorby agar memudahkan seorang administrator jaringan dalam hal monitoring. Hasil Log atau Alert dari Snort disajikan dalam bentuk Graphichal User Interface (GUI) menggunakan aplikasi Snorby sebagai sistem monitoring berupa Line Chart dan Pie Chart. Snort juga dapat menampilkan Log atau Alert berdasarkan tingkat keparahan yang dibedakan menjadi 3 warna, yaitu High severity dengan warna merah yang dikategorikan serangan berbahaya, Medium severity dengan warna kuning yang dikategorikan serangan dengan tingkat sedang, dan Low severity dengan warna hijau yang dikategorikan sebagai serangan tidak berbahaya atau lemah. Secara umum Snort hanya bekerja sebagai pendeteksi dan tidak mampu menahan serangan. Diharapkan kedepannya dapat dikembangkan Snort yang mampu mencegah serangan secara otomatis.

Abstract

Di era serba digital saat ini tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa kebutuhan akan internet sangat tidak dapat dihindari lagi. PT Ghim Lie merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang usaha garment, perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan terbesar di Batam tentunya dibidang garment. Perusahaan ini menggunakan jaringan komputer dalam membantu operasional perusahaan baik digunakan untuk komunikasi maupun membantu proses produksi. Semua aktifitas hampir secara keseluruhan memerlukan adanya koneksi internet. Cacti merupakan suatu software yang digunakan untuk keperluan monitoring yang banyak digunakan saat ini. Cacti dapat menyimpan semua data/ informasi yang diperlukan untuk membuat grafik dan mengumpulkannya dengan database MySql. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu membangun sistem monitoring jaringan dan menganalisa hasil monitoring jaringan untuk dijadikan bahan perbaikan kedepannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui seperti apa jaringan yang sedang berjalan dan menggali informasi terkait perangkat jaringan yang dipakai yaitu observasi, studi literatur dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa perangkat lunak Cacti mampu berfungsi dengan baik, sehingga dapat membantu staff IT di PT. Ghim Lie untuk memonitor traffic masuk, keluar, ping latency, polling time dan up time. Hasil monitoring menunjukan rata-rata traffic masuk 10,875 Mb/s, traffic keluar 13,9225 Mb/s, ping latency 0, Polling time 456,09 Mb/s dan Uptime 39,08. Jika ditinjau dengan standard typhon maka jaringan di PT. Ghim Lie dinyatakan sangat baik. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan untuk memperbaiki kinerja jaringan sehingga operasional perusahaan dapat berjalan optimal. Abstract

In this era, technological development is growing rapidly. Android is one of the operating systems currently available. The use of this operating system is very popular for cellphone development companies today. Rt 01 is in the Rw 01 area of ​​Muka Kuning Indah II Housing, Batu Aji District, Batam City. In the process of processing documents, residents currently still use traditional methods. Using this traditional method can cause problems, such as data that can be lost and data damage that can occur. One example is managing data on new residents who move to this RT. New citizen data is recorded in a book, as a temporary data storage place before being transferred to Excel. Creating an Android application to help make data collection easier for new residents is a good breakthrough. The results of this research are in the form of an Android application for RT 01 to register new residents, as well as helping to facilitate processing of other documents

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini memiliki dampak yang sangat besar bagi dunia pendidikan. teknologi maju saat ini sangat membantu manusia dalam mengerjakan pekerjaannya, sehingga harus diterapkan untuk mendapatkan manfaatnya. Tidak dapat dipungkiri masih banyak dunia pendidikan yang sangat enggan dengan penggunaan teknologi. Keengganan ini bisa diakibatkan karena tidak adanya kemauan belajar ataupun fasilitas yang kurang memadai serta tidak adanya yang memotivasi atau melatih. Mikrotik router adalah salah satu alat bantu dalam pengelolaan jaringan yang memungkinkan untuk mengefesiensikan penggunaan internet secara maksimal dan memberikan keamanan yang handal. Didalam mikrotik router board telah terinstal MikroTik OS. MikroTik Router OS™ merupakan sebuah system operasi dan perangkat software yang dapat dipakai serta bisa dimanfaatkan router network yang handal, meliputi bermacam variasi fitur yang dibuat untuk IP network dan jaringan wireless, cocok digunakan oleh ISP dan provider hotspot. Target utama pelatihan ini adalah menciptakan siswa yang dapat menerapkan teknologi khususnya software aplikasi mikrotik untuk mempermudah mengerjakan pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan jaringan dan memahami bagaimana penggunaan software aplikasi MikroTik.

Abstract

Digital image is a very important branch of science in processing two-dimensional and three-dimensional images. Digital images are used to view and analyze an image from pixel operations with the image histogram method, the purpose of this study is to determine image optimization using pixel neighborhoods and Histogram averaging and to determine image comparisons using pixel neighborhood methods and Histogram averaging?. While the images used include black and white images (binary), grayscale images and colored images. The method used is the histogram method, which is useful for observing the distribution of color intensity and can be used for decision making, for example in increasing brightness or stretching contrast and color distribution, Useful for determining boundaries in separating objects from their backgrounds, Providing a percentage of color composition and texture intensity for the purpose of image identification. Especially for colored images, histograms can be applied to a combination of RGB components or per component.

Abstract

Technological developments have a huge impact on the world of education. Today's advanced technology is very helpful for humans in doing their work, so it must be applied to get its benefits. Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is network technology in the logical grouping of users and equipment connected to the network connected to administratively defined ports on a switch regardless of the location of the switch is placed. With VLANs, a Local Area Network (LAN) can be divided into several different segments. VLANs also allow for the consolidation of networks that are physically separate, but as if they were in the same segment. The main aim of this training is to create students who can apply VLAN and Routing technologies to make it easier to do network-related work and understand how to use it. After the service was carried out, the knowledge of students is increasing, marked by the results of the evaluation that is carried out at the end of each service session in each material topic. The improvement of students' understanding also increased in router and VLAN configurations, characterized by the ability of students to do configuration exercises without assistance from service members. From this service activity, it can be concluded that the service went smoothly, and the students' knowledge became more about routing and VLAN.

Abstract

Research this educational gameaims to make mathematics teaching material in the form of educational games on linear equality material for grade VII junior high school / MTs, as well as knowing the quality of teaching materials seen from the effectiveness and practicality of the educational game. Educational game research is carried out based on the 4D (Four-D) model, but in this study it was carried out to stage three, namely the define, design, and development stages. This educational game is supported with HTML5-based software extract with a 2D platform developed by Scirra. While the components - components in making educational games are opening splash screen (opening), menu screen (menu display), music (music), sound effects (sound effects), obsctacle (obstacles), levels (levels), adversaries (opponents / enemies) ), player (player), and scene (scene). Responses to student learning achievement test questions to measure the effectiveness of educational games and teacher and student questionnaire responses to measure the practicality of the educational game. Educational game trials were conducted at MTs Teluk Sasah in grades VII and VIII. The results of this study are in the form of an android-based mathematical linear learning educational game. Based on the results of the study it was found that the educational game that was made effective and practical.

Abstract

Abstract Music is one of the important things in people’s life, music is known as a combination of elements of tone, melody, song rhythm and other arrangements that combine in the form of sound. Music is very much in demand by people, especially Batam City, both in concerts, party events and even on personal gadgets. For this reason, renting a musical instrument is very difficult, because it is difficult for prospective tenants to get detailed information on renting musical instrument. Due to the lack of information, researchers provide a solution in the form of a musical instrument rental information application system which includes price information, detailed packages and online payments using the existing payment methods in the application. In conducting research, researchers used the rapid application development (RAD) method which was designed using UML tools consisting of use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram and class diagram. The results of this study are in the form of an android application that is accessed on a personal smartphone or gadget. With the help of this application, it is hoped that the rental of existing musical instruments will be easier, especially in the city of Batam. Abstract

Irrigation is a way of providing water supply to agricultural land. The irrigation control system in Indonesia still uses a manual system to open and close irrigation channels using traditional methods. The control and arrangement of irrigation channels based on the Internet of Things using the NodeMCU ESP8266 control board is a tool designed to help farmers irrigate farmland remotely in real time through the Blynk application. This tool made aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the farmers. The process of controlling the tool can be done anywhere and anytime when connected to the internet in realtime. Testing on the tools using rice paddy prototypes. In testing connectivity and speed, the average control delay is 00: 01.28s without any problems. Produce an irrigation control device based on the Internet of Things that uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 board and can make it easier for farmers to control and monitor irrigation systems remotely without having to come to the location manually.

Abstract

Technology is a collection of hardware that is interconnected by using programming languages ​​so that they can work with each other in helping humans complete the most difficult, dangerous and repetitive tasks or jobs. This technology is like a mobile robot that helps detect the presence of a bomb, making it easier for humans to perform dangerous tasks. This final project aims to make a car robot consisting of a combination of hardware such as Arduino Mega 2560, DC motor 4 wide driver gear, IC L298N driver, HC-SR 4 sensor, push button, infrared flame detector sensor, and 16x2 LCD using language. Arduino sketch programming that has been compiled into the Arduino mega2560 board using ATMega 16U2, Arduino mega2560 has been equipped with an ATMega2560 microcontroller as a hardware control center for a car robot so that it can run automatically or without user control in search for targets in passing predetermined obstacles. The car robot will stop working when the target it is looking for has been found. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers several times, the robot car designed by the researcher can move and operate according to the concept that has been set by the researcher.
