Abstract

This training aims to provide understanding to Kendari Ministry of Health Polytechnic Lecturers regarding the development and implementation of digital learning. Training was held on 4-5 June 2024 with a total of 17 training participants. After the training activity ends, an evaluation is carried out by asking the training participants to fill out a Google Form containing statements related to the participant's response to the training activity. Google Forms are structured as a closed questionnaire with 4 answer choices. Student responses regarding training activities were analyzed on the data obtained in the form of percentages. Percentages were obtained based on modified Likert Scale calculations. Each item in the instrument is given a quantitative value, namely 4 for the Strongly Agree category, 3 for the Agree category, 2 for the Disagree category, and 1 for the Agree category. Based on the evaluation results, it is known that the training was carried out well and the training participants gained an understanding of the development & implementation of digital learning as one of the right choices to use in the digital era.

Abstract

The community service aims to increase the capacity of lecturers in developing video-based learning media. The service method is carried out through training activities. The target of the service is the Nutrition Department Lecturers of the Riau Ministry of Health Polytechnic. As many as 14 Nutrition Lecturers were involved in the training which was held in July 2023. The research instrument used was a closed sheet with four answer choices. Analysis of the training participants' responses to the training activities for making learning videos was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis. This is done by processing the proportion of data from filling in the responses by the training participants. Percentages are obtained based on modified Likert Scale calculations. The results showed that as many as 14 respondents or 100% of the respondents were in the category of strongly agreeing with the statements that led to a positive response from the trainees to the training activities that had been carried out. Follow-up workshops on creating innovative learning videos are urgently needed to acquire new skills for Teachers/Lecturers of the Department of Nutrition at the Riau Ministry of Health Polytechnic.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital module based on MOOCs on solar system material for class VII junior high school students. This research is a Research and Development study (R&D) with a 3D model which includes the Define, Design and Development stages. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The instruments used in this research were observation sheets, teacher interview guide sheets, expert validation sheets, and student response test sheets. Data analysis techniques are carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that digital modules based on MOOCs are valid and can be used. The test results of students' responses to the digital modules developed showed a very good category. The conclusion from the results of this research shows that the digital module developed was declared feasible by the expert team and received a positive response from students to be continued in wide-scale trials to see the product's effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' needs for the development of intelligent wheelchair assistant technology to be integrated into hybrid classes for students with disabilities. This research is motivated by the importance of creating a foundation for developing more inclusive and effective technology in the world of education. The use of intelligent wheelchair assistant technology is expected to improve the learning experience of students with disabilities and enable more equitable and inclusive education. The research is part of quantitative research conducted in March 2024. The population in this study consisted of 124 students from several universities. The instrument used in this study was a needs analysis questionnaire sheet consisting of 19 statements with answer choices following the Likert scale guidelines. The results of the needs questionnaire analysis showed that students needed the development of intelligent wheelchair assistant technology to be integrated into hybrid classes for students with disabilities as evidenced by the results of the needs analysis questionnaire of 81.39% in the strongly agree category.

Abstract

In the current era characterized by rapid and widespread technological progress, digital skills have become an important factor in shaping individual success and societal progress. Digital skills cover a wide range of proficiencies, including digital literacy, programming, data analysis, online collaboration, and information security. In the world of education, a lot of research has been carried out on digital skills, one of the most research topics is the application of blended learning to improve digital skills. Therefore, researchers conducted a bibliometric analysis of the application of blended learning in developing digital skills in the era of digital education which aims to conduct a comprehensive exploration of existing literature. This research involved a comprehensive approach combining a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis to explore the development of digital skills through online learning and assess its impact. Additionally, the use of VOSviewer software to visualize bibliometric networks is also discussed. The research results show that six different thematic clusters were found in the literature on digital skills development in the digital education era. Each cluster summarizes a set of recurring keywords that describe existing research trends, providing valuable insight into the landscape of the field. It can be concluded that this research contributes to the growing understanding of digital skills development through online learning and highlights its transformative potential in the world of education.

Abstract

In the era of technological advances, much learning has been shifted to online learning. This has led to many educational researchers researching and writing on topics about online learning in the era of technological progress. Therefore, researchers will conduct a bibliometric analysis of online learning in the era of technological progress to find out how online learning is implemented in the era of technological progress. The research method is a literature review using bibliometric analysis. The first step in this research is determining keywords. Then proceed with an initial search based on the specified keywords. After that, the data obtained was filtered and collected based on the group. After filtering the data, initial statistical data was compiled. Then, the data that has been compiled is analyzed to obtain results. After getting the results, visualization is carried out using VosViewer to get an overview of the data that has been obtained. The results of this research show that online learning is divided into 3 clusters, namely the first cluster is online learning and education, the second cluster is Covid, and the third cluster is online learning and the Covid pandemic period. It can be concluded that online learning is a form of distance learning or training that utilizes technology as a telecommunication tool such as the internet and other devices. It has been widely implemented since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The implementation of online learning has gone well, but there are still many shortcomings.

Abstract

This research aims to understand student perspectives and the most appropriate and effective learning approaches during the combined online and face-to-face learning period. The research method used is analyzing literature using bibliometric techniques which begins by defining the keyword 'Hybrid Learning' in the Publish or Perish application with Google Scholar as the data source. After reducing the scope of the search by focusing on specific aspects of 'hybrid learning', a total of 19 relevant articles were selected from a total of 50 articles found in the initial stage of the search. The collected data is managed using the Mendeley application, while the Vosviewer application is used to produce visualizations of related research. The research results show that physics learning became more effective when the Covid-19 virus outbreak broke out by implementing a hybrid approach, which helped improve students' technology skills. However, continued use of this approach in schools can have negative consequences for students. So, it can be concluded that hybrid learning is effective in physics learning when the Covid-19 virus is spreading. Because hybrid learning can improve students' abilities in using technology. However, it can also have a negative impact on students if it is applied continuously at school.

Abstract

The need for accurate data is really needed when departments or faculties are to be accredited, and to map lecturers who will have the opportunity in the following semester to carry out research or community service. Due to differences in data held by departments, faculties, or data at the LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service), different data can occur due to lack of discipline in lecturers who have carried out research and service to collect reports to departments, faculties, or to LPPM. To facilitate reporting of research and community service activities by lecturers to the Department and to management, an information system is needed that can improve research and community service performance. The system development method used in this research is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. The SDLC method uses a system approach called the waterfall approach, which uses system development stages, namely requirements analysis, design, coding, system testing and support stages (maintenance), using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The research results show that the information system developed makes it easier to manage and organize data from lecturers' research, service and publications and can help lecturers, departments and faculty leaders in obtaining the information they need online and in real time. It can be concluded that the Prisma Information System fully supports the submission of service research proposals, a faster and easier process, safer data and guaranteed credibility, dynamic configurability, more responsive design, and assistance documentation, as well as other new features.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pengenalan dan pemahaman tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan memberikan bimbingan teknis tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para guru SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan Guru dan Kepala SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan LPPM Universitas Bengkulu sebagai Lembaga yang senantiasa melakukan berbagai program pengabdian masyarakat guna menjalin kerjasama yang baik antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat serta memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan kegiatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan Provinsi Bengkulu. Rancangan evaluasi dengan melihat partisipasi peserta (guru) yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir program pengabdian masyarakat dan dengan melihat berapa banyak Perangkat Pembelajaran yang bisa dihasilkan. Selain itu, evaluasi juga dilakukan dengan melihat keberlanjutan kegiatan Implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning setelah program pengabdian berakhir, apakah masih berlanjut atau tidak. Pelatihan yang dilakukan di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara tentang pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning mendapatkan respon yang baik dan keberlanjutan kerjasama akan terus dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam mempergunakan Teknologi Informasi khususnya menggunakan program 3D flip Profesional dalam membantu pembelajaran IPA khususnya pada siswa SMPN 11 KOTA BENGKULU sehingga dapat memotivasi guru-guru IPA dalam menggunakan inovasi pembelajaran terkini. Sasaran utama pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah guru guru IPA di lingkungan SMPN 11 Kota bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dan pelatihan. Materi pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung, diskusi dan melalui buku yang disertai video tutorial sehingga diharapkan guru-guru dapat mudah untuk memahami tentang cara penggunaan program 3D flip Profesional dalam pembuatan Modul elektronik berupa media interaktif IPA. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi lapangan sampai kepada pencarian informasi pendukung kelayakan program. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat tentang pelatihan Pembuatan Modul Elektronik menggunakan 3D flip profesional di SMP 11 Kota Bengkulu ini telah mampu memberikan wawasan kepada guru guru fisika tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembuatan bahan ajar elektronik. Kegiatan ini juga telah memberikan motivasi kepada guru guru untuk lebih meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membuat bahan bahan ajar yang lebih menarik dan inovatif.
