Abstract

Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai alat promosi digital membuka peluang strategis bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk memperluas pasar di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media promosi digital oleh UMKM di Desa Mandalasari, Kecamatan Sragi, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran TikTok dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar serta meningkatkan kesadaran merek terhadap produk lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun TikTok memiliki potensi besar sebagai media promosi, sebagian besar pelaku UMKM di Desa Mandalasari masih belum memanfaatkannya secara optimal akibat keterbatasan literasi digital, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, serta keterbatasan perangkat pendukung dan akses internet. Namun, implementasi TikTok melalui pendampingan, membantu beberapa UMKM mengenalkan produk mereka ke pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan di Indonesia, yangmemengaruhi sekitar 1 juta orang dan menyebabkan sekitar 134.000 kematian setiap tahun. Indonesiamenjadi negara dengan tingkat TB tertinggi kedua di dunia. Sebagai respons terhadap masalahmendesak ini, pemerintah telah menetapkan tujuan untuk mengeliminasi TB pada tahun 2030. Namun,terdapat beberapa hambatan yang harus diatasi, termasuk stigma sosial, fasilitas kesehatan yang tidakmemadai dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat mengenai penyakit ini serta opsi kesehatan yangtersedia. Peran dan kompetensi petugas TB sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan,update kebijakan terbaru dan memanfaatkan sistem pencatatan kasus TB secara efektif. Untuk memperkuat kemampuan, sesi pelatihan tatap muka telah dilaksanakan, dengan efektivitas sesi tersebut melalui pre-posttest. Setelah pelatihan, pemahaman petugas terhadap materi mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Hasil pre-posttest menunjukkan kinerja petugas TB secara umum positif, 6% membutuhkan pelatihan tambahan dan 5% membutuhkan dukungan program dan 11% mengalami kesulitan dengan sistem pencatatan kasus. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan dan dukungan untuk meningkatkan kinerja petugas TB, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada upaya pengendalian TB yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.   Abstract Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia affecting approximately 1million individuals and resulting in around 134,000 death annualy. Indonesia became a country with thesecond-highest TB rates globally. In response to this urgent matter, the government has voiced anambitious objective to eliminate TB by 2030. However, several obstacles must be navigated, includingsocial stigma, insufficient healthcare infrastructure, and a general unawareness regarding the diseaseand available treatment options. The roles and competencies of TB officers are crucial in enchancing thequality of care, staying abreast of new regulatory policies, and effectively utilizing the TB case recordingsystem. To strengthen their capabilities, face-to-face training sessions were implemented, with theeffectiveness of these sessions assessed via pre and pos training tests. After the training, a significantincrease in the officers’ understanding of the material has increased. Pre-posttest result shows agenerally positive performance among TB officers; nonetheless 6% expressed a need for additionaltraining, 5% called for program support, and 11% encountered difficulties with the case recordingsystem. These finding underscore the necessity for training and support for enchancing performance ofTB officers, ultimately contributing to more effective and sustainable TB control efforts.

Abstract

Developing EFL speaking remains challenging in many classroom contexts. This study examined the effect of interactive quizzes and games on eleventh-grade students’ speaking skills in an Indonesian Islamic boarding school. Using a pretest–posttest control group design, 30 students in two intact classes (n = 15 each) received four weeks (16 sessions) of either interactive quiz/game activities or traditional speaking instruction. Speaking performance (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and accuracy) was assessed using equivalent pre- and post-speaking tests. Shapiro–Wilk tests confirmed normality of difference scores (p > .05). Both groups improved, but gains were larger in the experimental group (pre: M = 36.00, SD = 17.55; post: M = 86.33, SD = 11.10) than in the control group (pre: M = 36.67, SD = 14.96; post: M = 46.67, SD = 24.18). Groups were equivalent at baseline, t(28) = 0.112, p = .912. Posttest scores differed significantly, t(28) = −5.775, p < .001, d = 2.109, indicating a very large practical effect. These findings suggest that interactive quizzes and games can substantially enhance EFL speaking performance compared with conventional instruction.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education has significant potential to improve the quality of learning, particularly in the development of creative and innovative instructional media. However, many elementary school teachers still face limitations in knowledge and skills related to the pedagogical use of AI. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to enhance the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 18 Pangkalpinang in developing AI-based learning media that align with the characteristics of elementary school students. The activity was conducted on December 9, 2025, involving all teachers through training sessions, hands-on practice, mentoring, and reflection. The success of the program was measured through observations, interviews, and assessment of the learning media products developed by the teachers. The results indicate an improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in selecting and utilizing AI applications, as well as increased creativity in producing more varied and relevant learning media aligned with instructional objectives. In addition, teachers demonstrated a more positive attitude and greater openness toward the use of technology in learning. This activity highlights the importance of practical and contextual AI utilization training in supporting learning transformation in elementary schools and contributing to sustainable improvement in educational quality.
