Sebelum edukasi, mayoritas siswa memiliki pengetahuan rendah (71,9%), tetapi setelahnya menurun menjadi hanya 6,2%. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Fisik, Siswa, Sekolah, Video Animasi  ABSTRACT The development of technology has impacted human lifestyles, including physical activity patterns. One technological advancement closely linked to the lives of teenagers today was the use of gadgets. Excessive and uncontrolled gadget use had negative effects on both physical and psychological health. Therefore, physical activity was strongly recommended to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Education delivered through animated video media was expected to improve students' knowledge and motivate them to engage in regular physical activity. This activity aimed to enhance students' understanding of physical activity through an educational method using animated videos involving 32 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Pontianak. The educational methods included animated video presentations, lectures, and question-and-answer sessions. Evaluations were conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding. Before the education, the majority of students had a low level of knowledge (71.9%), which decreased to only 6.2% afterward. The percentage of students with a moderate level of knowledge increased from 25% to 68.8%, and those with a high level of knowledge rose from 3.1% to 25%. Physical activity education through animated videos proved to be an effective learning medium to enhance students' knowledge. Moreover, school partners hoped that such educational programs could be conducted regularly with an increased number of participants. Keywords: Physical Activity, Students, School, Animated Videos

Abstract

Professional identity reflects how nurses perceive and evaluate themselves, shaped by the values, norms, and ethical principles of the nursing profession. This concept encompasses four key aspects: professional values, ethics, knowledge, and leadership. Professional identity contributes to the quality of nursing care and nurses' job satisfaction. This study aims to explore the role of professional identity in these two aspects. A descriptive literature review was conducted to examine the relationship between professional identity, quality of care, and job satisfaction. Following JBI guidelines, the review evaluates nurses’ knowledge, motivation, and practices related to discharge planning. Searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest using the keywords "Professional Identity" AND "Nurses," "Quality of Care," AND "Job Satisfaction," focusing on articles from 2019-2024. Results reveal a significant link between professional identity and job satisfaction, with professional identity also influencing burnout potential. Self-directed learning serves as a mediator, while a supportive work environment and positive organizational climate enhance nurse engagement and job satisfaction. A strong professional identity leads to better care quality and job satisfaction, with nurses gaining a clearer understanding of their roles.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) infants are at risk of experiencing growth and developmental disorders as well as health complications. One of the non-pharmacological approaches to improve the weight of LBW infants is lullaby music therapy, which consists of soft and rhythmic music believed to have a calming effect, stimulate the sucking reflex, and improve the quality of the infant’s sleep. This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of lullaby music therapy as a non-pharmacological intervention in increasing the weight of LBW infants. The intervention was carried out by playing lullaby music for 20–30 minutes, 2–3 times per day, for three consecutive days. The results showed that lullaby music therapy administered for three consecutive days led to changes in the infants’ weight. During the first two days, there was a decrease in weight; however, on the third day, an increase was observed. Lullaby music therapy also had positive effects on improving the sucking reflex and stabilizing the infants’ physiological parameters. These findings indicate that lullaby music contributes to enhancing feeding processes and nutritional intake, which ultimately support weight gain in LBW infants. The conclusion of this study is that lullaby music therapy is effective in supporting weight gain, improving the sucking reflex, and maintaining physiological stability in LBW infants. This therapy may be considered a non-pharmacological intervention in neonatal nursing; however, further research with larger sample sizes is needed to strengthen its scientific basis.

Abstract

This case report aims to describe the holistic nursing care provided to three patients following cystectomy surgery due to Endometriosis. The three subjects, Mrs. E (33 years old), Mrs. F (30 years old), and Mrs. G (35 years old), were admitted on the first postoperative day with chief complaints of Acute Pain and Impaired Physical Mobility. Assessment revealed that Mrs. E experienced Acute Pain with a score of 8 on the surgical incision site, required total bed rest, and had elevated Leukocyte levels (15,600/µL). Similar findings in Mrs. F and Mrs. G also indicated acute pain of high intensity and immobility. The primary nursing diagnoses established for all three cases were Acute Pain (D.0077), Impaired Physical Mobility (D.0054), and Risk for Infection (D.0147). Interventions focused on non-pharmacological pain management (deep breathing technique) and gradual early mobilization. Following 3x24 hours of nursing implementation, a significant decrease in pain intensity was observed (Mrs. E's pain decreased from a score of 8 to 3) and an improvement in mobility ability was noted in all three cases. The integrated nursing interventions demonstrated a positive effect on reducing pain and enhancing the functional mobility of the postoperative patients.
