Abstract

The issue of child labor in Indonesia is covered in this article. To be child-free is for a husband and wife to have mutually agreed not to procreate while they are married. Just hearing the term "child-free" can make some people uncomfortable. Additionally, there is a tiny subset of society that has normalised and even engaged in this behavior, particularly among the well-to-do. Since bearing children and exercising reproductive rights in Islam are fundamental to the purpose of marriage, it is intriguing to examine this research from a scientific perspective. Childfree is the topic of this essay, which seeks to investigate the opinions and reactions of various Islamic groups in X District. Field research is utilized in this study to gather qualitative data. This study aims to examine the perspectives and reactions of Islamic organizations in X District about child-free activities. Several Islamic groups in X District were surveyed to get the necessary data. Then, descriptive analysis is used to examine the data. Based on the research, we know that (1) childfree is a phenomenon of contemporary issues that elicits mixed reactions (some people favor it, some don't), and (2) childfree is a form of radical feminism. Childfree, according to Islamic groups in X District Regency like Hidayatullah, Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute, Muhamadiyah, and Nahdlatul Ulama, is immoral since it contradicts Islamic teachings about marriage and the nature of human sexuality.

Abstract

By giving teachers the necessary tools, teacher training plays a critical role in raising the standard of education. Training programs that are accessible and structured are becoming more and more important as educational demands change. The usefulness of teacher training frameworks, the incorporation of contemporary educational approaches, and the difficulties in obtaining and executing these programs are all examined in this study. This study examines global trends in teacher training literature (2019–2024) using Scopus and bibliometric analysis. Thematic focuses, important contributors, and publication trends were evaluated by data analysis using R/R-Studio, VoSviewer, and Microsoft Excel. Despite a rise in research activity, the results indicate a decreasing annual growth rate of publications. With a focus on particular locations, the study identifies important journals, authors, organizations, and nations influencing research on teacher preparation. Results show that training that is well-organized and updated often improves student performance and instructional efficacy. Adaptability to different classrooms is enhanced by the integration of inclusive education and technology. Nonetheless, there are still gaps in our knowledge of the long-term effects of training and in guaranteeing fair access to professional growth. When creating evidence-based teacher training programs, policymakers, educational institutions, and training providers use these insights as a guide. Comparative evaluations of training approaches, long-term efficacy, and international cooperation tactics in teacher education should all be investigated in future studies. For education systems around the world to advance, teacher training programs must be strengthened.

Abstract

This study offers an interpretive, semantic, and educational analysis of the story of Moses and al-Khidr in Surah al-Kahf (verses 60–82). It focuses on the symbolic and geographical dimensions of place and its role in shaping the educational and epistemological experience of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). The research adopts an integrative approach that combines classical Qur’anic exegesis, Islamic mysticism, and theories of symbolic space in religious and philosophical thought. The story is analyzed as a sequence of transitional phases in a geographical space that goes beyond physical description, carrying spiritual and pedagogical implications. These stages include the symbolic starting point at the "junction of the two seas," the loss of the fish, the meeting with al-Khidr, and the three events (the scuttling of the ship, the killing of the boy, and the building of the wall). The research shows how Qur’anic geography transforms into a multi-layered semantic space, where each place represents a stage in Moses’ inner transformation, from acquired knowledge to divinely inspired knowledge, and from the logic of appearance to the insight of the unseen. The study reveals that the setting in this story is not merely a background for events, but rather an active educational element that contributes to shaping major concepts such as knowledge, submission, spiritual excellence (ihsan), and epistemic humility. The research concludes that Qur’anic pedagogy is deeply intertwined with its symbolic and emotional contexts and relies on them to form the ideal human being.

Abstract

This study examines the integration and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and tools within postgraduate programs at the University of Zawia, Libya. In the context of rapid technological advancements, higher education in Arabic-speaking regions is increasingly shaped by social, economic, and religious factors. While AI is transforming global educational practices through adaptive learning platforms, virtual tutors, and personalized experiences, its adoption in Libyan universities remains limited and underexplored particularly in relation to ethical considerations and student preparedness. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this research combines quantitative survey data from 150 postgraduate students with qualitative insights to examine levels of awareness, perceptions, challenges, and usage patterns of AI tools in academic contexts. The data were analyzed using basic statistics, mainly percentages, to identify trends that support the study’s objectives. By exploring how students utilize AI to enhance their academic performance, the study aims to offer practical recommendations to promote AI literacy, address ethical concerns, and align institutional policies with technological advancements. The findings contribute to the broader discourse on the role of AI in higher education, with a focus on sustainable integration and the preservation of academic integrity within Libya’s educational institutions.
