Abstract

Marketing management at Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) is important amidst the tight competition between educational institutions, so a strategy is needed that can balance business orientation, Islamic preaching values, and improving the quality of education in the digital era. This study aims to provide insight into how effective marketing management can improve the competitiveness of SIT in Indonesia while also influencing the number of registrations and stakeholder satisfaction. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, document analysis, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The data obtained were analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion and validated using triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study show that SMPI Al-Azhaar Tulungagung has succeeded in implementing an effective educational marketing management strategy through careful branding planning, organizing resources and promotions, accepting new students, and quality control. School branding is built by prioritizing student achievement, OSIS leadership, publication of written works, and the Class Gazebo acceleration program. Resource organization is carried out by involving teachers, students, and parents in school promotion, while the promotion strategy combines digital and face-to-face media, including the parenting program (MAJELAS). The new student admission process is designed in stages to maintain quality and competitiveness. In contrast, quality control is carried out through evaluation of the quality assurance system and parental cooperation through the MoU. All of these strategies have a positive impact on parental satisfaction, strengthen the school's image, and increase the competitiveness of integrated Islamic educational institutions at the national level. The results of this study imply that planned marketing management, involving all elements of the school and integrating Islamic values, can improve the image, competitiveness, and satisfaction of stakeholders in integrated Islamic educational institutions.

The phenomenon of academic stress among students of modern Islamic boarding schools is increasingly worrying along with high academic and non-academic demands. This study aims to reduce academic stress through interventions in the form of psychoeducation and stress management strategy training for new students at the Darul Hikmah Modern Islamic Boarding School. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design for the same group. This study involved 31 students as samples taken using incidental sampling techniques. The instrument used was the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) with a reliability of 0.808 which has been adapted into Indonesian. The intervention given in this study was stress management psychoeducation. The data analysis method used was the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the stress management strategy with the TALK method (Find, Teach, Exercise, Consultation) was proven to be effective. There was a significant increase in students' understanding of academic stress after participating in psychoeducation. In addition, the results also show that the intervention given is able to reduce students' academic stress with a value of (Z = - 3.924 with p = 0.00; Mean Pre-test = 47.00 with Mean Post Test = 41.77) which means that the stress management strategies taught are effective in reducing the pressure experienced by students. This study concludes that psychoeducation and stress management training are effective preventive and curative strategies for dealing with academic stress in the Islamic boarding school environment. The existence of ongoing training and social support from the environment is very much needed to support the sustainability of the intervention results and maintain individual welfare so that students can achieve more optimal academic achievement.

Abstract

Fatherlessness refers to the absence of a father figure during a child's developmental stages, whether physically or psychologically. This systematic review analyzes 15 international journals to explore the effects of fatherlessness across various developmental periods. The findings highlight significant consequences depending on the child's age.During childhood, the absence of a father is linked to lower academic achievement and an increased risk of engaging in delinquent behavior during adolescence and early adulthood. In adolescence, fatherlessness often contributes to identity confusion, challenges in social interactions, and uncertainty regarding sexual orientation. As individuals transition into adulthood, the absence of a father figure impacts their ability to establish healthy relationships with the opposite sex and heightens their vulnerability to psychological issues. These findings emphasize the profound influence of fatherlessness on various aspects of a child’s growth and development. The review highlights the need for continued research to delve into the nuanced effects of fatherlessness across different stages of development. Such studies are crucial for developing targeted strategies and interventions aimed at minimizing the adverse outcomes associated with the absence of a father figure. By addressing these challenges, future efforts can better support children and young adults in navigating the complexities of their developmental journey
