Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions have a strategic role in producing cadres of leaders who are able to unite the people. In the digital era, the challenges and opportunities for Islamic boarding schools are increasingly complex, so adaptive and innovative strategic management is needed. This study aims to analyze the management strategy of Islamic boarding schools in building a cadre of leaders who unite the people at the Al Madani Cikalong Islamic Boarding School, Majalengka. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that Al Madani Islamic Boarding School implements a digital-based management strategy in education and resource management, including the use of information technology in learning, strengthening the leadership curriculum based on Islamic values, and collaboration with various parties in developing leader cadres. The implementation of this strategy has proven effective in improving the quality of students as prospective leaders who are broad-minded, moderate, and able to adapt to the times

Abstract

Abstrak Artikel ini membahas hubungan strategis dan penyatuan kekuatan antara Kesultanan Cirebon dan Demak pada abad ke-15-16 M dalam berbagai aspek, termasuk relasi kuasa melalui pernikahan, keilmuan, dakwah Islam, militer, dan suksesi. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana terbentuk hubungan antara Kesultanan Demak dan Cirebon hingga menjadi kekuatan yang bersatu, dan bagaimana keduanya dapat mengembangkan hubungan tesebut sehingga memengaruhi arah perkembangan Islam selanjutnya di Jawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah dengan langkah-langkah heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa hubungan keduanya tidak hanya berlandaskan aspek politik, tetapi juga nilai-nilai keagamaan dan militer yang memengaruhi perkembangan Islam di Nusantara. Hubungan Cirebon dan Demak ditandai dengan upaya integrasi melalui perkawinan, pengaruh ulama dalam sistem pemerintahan, serta kerja sama dalam menghadapi ancaman eksternal seperti Majapahit, Pajajaran, dan Portugis. Konflik internal dalam Kesultanan Demak juga turut mempengaruhi keseimbangan politik, di mana Cirebon berperan dalam menentukan stabilitas kerajaan Islam di Jawa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sejarah dan analisis teori hubungan kekuasaan, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai dinamika kekuasaan dan interaksi politik antara kedua kerajaan yang berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan Islam di Nusantara.   Abstract This article examines the strategic relationship and unification of power between the Sultanates of Cirebon and Demak in the 15th-16th centuries across various aspects, including political alliances through marriages, scholarly transmission (sanad), Islamic da'wah, military, and succession. The problem is how the relationship between the Sultanates of Cirebon and Demak was formed to become a united power, and how the two could develop this relationship so as to influence the direction of the further development of Islam in Java. The study employs historical methods, incorporating heuristic analysis, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The findings indicate that the relationship between the two sultanates was not solely based on political considerations but also encompassed religious and military dimensions that influenced the spread of Islam in the archipelago. Their alliance was marked by integration efforts through inter-dynastic marriages, the influence of ulama in governance, and joint strategies against external threats such as Majapahit, Pajajaran, and the Portuguese. Additionally, internal conflicts within the Demak Sultanate impacted the region’s political equilibrium, with Cirebon playing a crucial role in maintaining the stability of Islamic rule in Java. By employing a historical approach and analyzing power relations, this study provides valuable insights into the political dynamics and interactions between these two kingdoms, highlighting their contributions to the development of Islam in the archipelago.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalis bagaimana Keterampilan Komunikasi Guru BK Pada Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Sistem Pembelajaran Yang Fleksibel Dalam Menilai Perkembangan Siswa SMK 2 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin Dari Segi Akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif Kualitatif menggunakan Wawancara dengan Para Informan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Keterampilan Komunikasi Guru BK Pada Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Sistem Pembelajaran Yang Fleksibel Dalam Menilai Perkembangan Siswa SMK 2 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin Dari Segi Akademik sangatlah berpengaruh dan hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh Kurikulum Merdeka itu sendiri dimana Kurikulum Merdeka dengan sistem Pembelajaran yang Fleksibel meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar para guru dan belajar para siswa yang mendorong kreativitas. Pada Kurikulum merdeka peran guru BK sangat besar dalam jenjang karir para siswa, sistem yang fleksibel ini lah yang membuat kedekatan antara guru BK dan para siswa menjadi dekat yang membuat para siswa percaya dengan para guru.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to detect the impact of the use of Google Classroom on the results of learning students’ substantive reading skills at this school, and to analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors in its use. After the researcher's pretest and postest of the students, received the pretest with the largest results 65 and the smallest results 40 and the average 50.  And posttest got the biggest results 80 and the smallest results 55 and average 68 and  got N-gain 0,6 at the good grade level. The researcher analyzed the data by law (T-test) with the help of SPSS 21 obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) 0,000 below 0,05 the alternative hypothesis H_a accepted the original hypothesis H_0 rejected. The conclusion of this research is that the teaching process using Google Classroom for students in this school has a statistically significant effect on the results of learning the reading skill.

Abstract

Every higher education institution needs to focus on the performance of its lecturers if they want to develop and produce quality education. This research aims to determine the influence of competence and motivation on the performance of lecturers. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal relationship research design. The population of this study is all lecturers of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, amounting to 168 people. The sample for this study is 63 people. The research data collection instrument uses a questionnaire consisting of 38 statements to measure competence, motivation, and performance. The data analysis for this research uses path analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the significance value of the correlation between competence and motivation is 0.00<0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between competence and motivation. Then, the results of the correlation testing between competence and motivation towards performance show that the F-value of the influence of competence and motivation on performance is 21.260 with a significance value of 0.00<0.05, which means that competence and motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on lecturers' performance. Thus, competence and motivation support lecturers in achieving performance.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic education in the digital era demands a balance between technological advancement and the spiritual development of learners. This study aims to analyze the meaning, relevance, and implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum within the madrasah context, which emphasizes compassion (rahmah), empathy, and the humanization of learning as the core of the educational process. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design at MA Riyadlus Sholihin Kota Probolinggo, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Love-Based Curriculum strengthens students’ spiritual and moral dimensions through reflective learning and the teacher’s role as murabbi (spiritual mentor). Although institutional support is relatively strong, limitations in teacher training and technological adaptation remain challenges. This research highlights the urgency of adopting a love-oriented paradigm in Islamic education as a solution to the moral crisis and dehumanization found in modern education.
