Abstract

Kegiatan berbahasa mencakup kegiatan yang produktif dan reseptif di dalam Keterampilan berbahasa yang mencakup aspek mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Empat keterampilan berbahasa ini merupakan keterampilan yang mutlak dikuasai oleh pembelajar ketika belajar bahasa. Karena empat keterampilan berbahasa ini sudah diajarkan berlahan pada saat mulai sekolah dasar sampai di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA tingkat pemula. Melihat bahan ajar yang digunakan, stragi pembelajaran yang dipilih dan ragam media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam menerapkan perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA untuk tingkat pemula atau dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif,  dengan  menggunakan metode triangulasi, yaitu membandingkan dan atau mencocokkan data yang diperoleh dari dokumen bahan ajar, observasi, dan penerapan materi BIPA oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah pilihan BIPA. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi pengajar dan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah pilihan praktik BIPA.

Abstract

Thai student responses to Indonesian online learning with native speakers. The problem in this research is how Thai learners respond to learning Indonesian (BIPA) online with native speakers. And how is the online learning process provided by teachers and guest lecturers from STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, UPI Language Center, BPK Penabur School with the theme of learning is about introductions, family, and about the song Indonesia Raya. The purpose of conducting this research is to obtain an overview of how the response of Thai learners who study at NU to learning Indonesian online taught by natives. The method in this study uses two forms of research methods, namely the first library research method and the second with descriptive analysis with the technique used is to observe and give questionnaires to respondents and teachers about how to respond and their satisfaction in learning Indonesian natively. . The results show that this learning process improves Indonesian learning outcomes and increases the number of vocabulary it gets. As well as the response of Thai students who interact with natives shows the character of speaking well, by repeating the same theme twice at different times to practice speaking with Indonesians

Abstract

In the effort to introducing and consolidating Indonesian language to the world and ASEAN level, there are a few of options but teaching and mastering Bahasa Indonesia (BI). Through the teaching of Bahasa indonesia for foreign speaker (BIPA), it can be a media of language and culture diplomacy and brings indonesian language as lingua franca in ASEAN community, as happen in Thailand. Therefore, some efforts need to be done in order to realize that through the teaching of BIPA. to increase the interest in learning BI in abroad, to improve the image of the Indonesia as a nation and make BI as Lingua franca, which 1.System BIPA teaching abroad, 2) the material of BIPA, the BIPA learning is not always teach people about the language but also includes material about the culture and Indonesian literature. 3) the purposes of teaching BIPA, to prepare Indonesian language tobe lingua franca in the Asean community.

Abstract

The implementation of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various problems, especially in relation to the evaluation (assessment) process in student lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Therefore it is necessary to have an alternative evaluation model that supports the good and effective distance lecture process, both for lecturers and students. This paper provides an overview of an evaluation model that can be used as a reference for lecturers in evaluating distance student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic that is hitting Indonesia. This research method is qualitative based on descriptive study, including the type of research library research. Researchers obtained data from interviews with student lecturers and parents and literature studies from various literature books, journals, scientific papers, and also other documents that assess the evaluation of distance lectures. The results of this study found several things, namely: (1) types of evaluation difficulties during lectures during the Covid-19 period, (2) lecture evaluation models during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) various obstacles faced in implementing evaluation during lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom on the text-writing skills of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. The texts analyzed in this study are descriptive, fantasy stories, and procedures. The findings indicate that the texts written by students are not according to the structure and linguistic rules of the text that have been set. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The design in this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique in this research is a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this research was class VII E about 32 students. Data collection was carried out in June 2021. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is effectively used for learning to write descriptive texts, fantasy stories, and procedures for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 38 Padang. Based on the results of the comparison of the value of the hypothesis test, the creative-productive method oriented to local wisdom is most effectively applied to description texts, compared to fantasy story texts and procedural texts.
