Abstract

Improving the quality of learning in schools is carried out by various strategies, one of which is developing teaching materials. The development of teaching materials in modules is currently a very urgent need. Because the application of the module can make learning activities more well-planned, independent, complete, and precise results so that educators can assist schools in realizing quality learning. However, in reality, many educators have difficulty making teaching modules that suit the needs of students. Due to educators' lack of knowledge and training to make teaching modules. Therefore, this PKM activity aims 1) to introduce and equip educators about teaching modules, 2) to assist educators in making teaching modules. The implementation method used in this activity is lecture, practice, and discussion. The activities were conducted online using the Zoom application and offline at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi Empat Lawang. The steps in PKM activities are 1) preparation, 2) implementation, 3) reflection. Data was collected through a questionnaire. The implementation of PKM activities showed that the training activities ran smoothly, and the participants were enthusiastic about participating in the training. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 72.8% of the participants stated that this training activity could increase their knowledge and understanding of the module, and 83.3% stated that this training activity could train the skills of educators in doing modules. This activity can contribute to educators producing practical modules to use in the learning process

Abstract

This research aimed to produce a valid and practical product in the form of a student worksheet using the Indonesian version of the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach in the classroom context with an orientation toward students’ conceptual understanding and to figure out the potential effect of the student worksheet developed. It is a piece of development research under the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Data collection was performed using documentation, a questionnaire, and a test. The object of this research was the development of a student worksheet using the PMRI approach within the classroom context with an orientation toward students’ conceptual understanding. Meanwhile, the subjects of the research were students of grade X of SMAN 06 Banyuasin. The research results showed that the student worksheet produced was declared valid (with an average score of 90.83), practical (based on the students’ questionnaire responses, with a score of 79.65), and potentially influential to a high degree (based on the students’ test results, with a percentage of 84%). Therefore, the student worksheet that was developed using the PMRI approach within the classroom context with an orientation toward students’ conceptual understanding was worth using in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) menggunakan konteks literasi finansial dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama pada materi aritmetika sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan metode pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD pada materi aritmetika sosial menggunakan konteks literasi finansial yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Lubuk Besar dan data diperoleh melalui angket dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan perolehan persentase kevalidan sebesar 86,53%, sangat praktis dengan perolehan persentase kepraktisan sebesar 85%, dan memiliki efek potensial yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar dengan perolehan persentase efek potensial sebesar 80%.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan LKPD, aritmetika sosial, konteks literasi finansial

Abstract

This study aims to produce LKPD oriented to the flipped classroom learning model on social arithmetic material for class VII SMP that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (RnD). The development model used in this research is the ADDIE development model which consists of the Analysis stage, Design stage, Development stage, Implementation stage, and Evaluation stage. The LKPD was tested on seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. The research data were obtained from validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The percentage score of the validity level was 89.3% with a very valid category which was assessed by three expert validators, namely two lecturers and one educator. The level of practicality after being tested on students got a score percentage of 83.2% which was in the very practical category. And based on the results of learning tests from students after using the LKPD oriented to the flipped classroom learning model, they were in the good category with an average score of 77, so that the LKPD was effectively used.Keywords: Social Arithmetic, Flipped Classroom, LKPD

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of vector e-modules based on project-based learning for students in class X SMA. This study is a continuation of development research using a 4D model (define, design, development, and dissemination). The feasibility of the e-module is assessed in the development section, which includes three trial stages: one-to-one, small group, and field test. 35 students from SMA Negeri 15 Palembang participated in this study. Questionnaires, interviews, and written tests were used to collect data. The results of the questionnaire and written test were analyzed quantitatively, while the data from interviews were analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the one-to-one stage, it is clear that the e-module has an interesting appearance, is simple to use, and includes videos to help students understand the material. The e-module has a practicality level of 77,4 % in the small-group stage and 79,4 percent in the field test stage. This data is backed up by students' ability to solve vector material problems in the e-module, which is 78.4 percent at the field test stage. Based on the data analysis results, it is possible to conclude that the e-module vector based on project-based learning is practically used in learning with a moderate level of practicality. Keywords: E-Module, Project Based Learning, Vector

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi bangun datar. Tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan yaitu di SMP N 1 Betung kelas VII.F pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang yang terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan soal tes sebanyak 9 soal berbentuk uraian materi bangun datar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan untuk indikator memahami masalah 66,66%, membuat atau menyusun pemodelan matematika 42,74%, memilih dan mengembangkan strategi 40,32%, serta mampu memeriksa kebenaran dan menjelaskan jawaban yang diperoleh 29,43%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh dari hasil tes siswa rata-rata untuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII.F pada materi bangun datar masih dalam kategori rendah sebesar 44,79

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the material of social arithmetic using the context of financial literacy. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Lubuk Besar. Data was collected by combining the results of student learning tests and interviews. Interviews were conducted to support the test results that have been obtained and are associated with learning on social arithmetic material using the context of financial literacy. The data analysis techniques used are: 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation; 3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) the arithmetic material using the context of financial literacy affects the results of the learning test; 2) social arithmetic material using the context of financial literacy influences students' decision making; 3) the number of students with good decision making is more than the number of students with poor decision making.

Abstract

Research This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding abilities through an inquiry approach. The type of research used is quantitative with a one case shoot study treatment design. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. The data collection technique in this study is test data. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive statistics. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that students' conceptual comprehension abilities through an inquiry approach to sequences and series material in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 14 Palembang have a good average. This can be seen from the results of the study, namely the average final test score for students' conceptual understanding ability was 75.50.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa E-module berbasis pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang valid, praktis dan untuk mengetahui efek potensial e-module yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Kikim Selatan. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengembangan e-module berbasis pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukan e-module yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid, dengan skor 87. E-module dinyatakan praktis berdasarkan penilaian dari angket respon siswa dengan skor 78,47. Dinyatakan memiliki efek potensial dengan kriteria sangat tinggi berdasarkan hasil tes belajar siswa dengan persentase sebesar 85%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa E-module berbasis pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran di Kelas XI SMA layak digunakan pada pembelajaran.Kata kunci : ADDIE, E-module, PBL, Persamaan Garis Singgung Lingkaran

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya jumlah publikasi artikel ilmiah guru SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Gelam Kecamatan Teluk Gelam Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Data observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa guru yang pernah melakukan penulisan dan publikasi artikel pada jurnal ilmiah hanya sekitar 26,5%. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) memberikan pemahaman tentang cara menyusun artikel ilmiah dan (2) mengenalkan kepada guru SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Gelam tentang tata cara publikasi artikel pada jurnal ilmiah. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah presentasi, demonstrasi dan praktik. Data pada kegiatan ini dikumpulkan melalui angket dan lembar wawancara. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengikuti secara antusias kegiatan ini karena kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat untuk guru dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesionalisnya. Peserta mendapatkan pemahaman tentang cara penyusunan artikel ilmiah yang baik, dan peserta telah dapat melakukan praktik cara untuk publikasi artikel pada jurnal ilmiah dengan baik pula. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, pelatihan ini juga sebaiknya dilakukan di sekolah lain yang berada pada daerah luar kota Kabupaten.
