Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of effectiveness of the Exam Browser application as a tool in the learning evaluation process in Islamiyah Trimoharjo. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study are students of MTs Islamiyah Trmoharjo. The data in this study is in the form of answers from questionnaires. The results of the study show that most of the students from MTs Islamiyah Trimoharjo consider this application to provide convenience in the implementation of the exam. They see that the application can increase focus and help improve discipline and honesty in working on problems. While most students can overcome difficulties in accessing the app, technical constraints such as errors, lag, and performance are still concerns. The exambro application used for exams is accepted by both teachers and students because it facilitates the implementation of exams with user-friendly features, question randomization and real-time monitoring, obstacles that occur during the use of this application by teachers and students only on technical issues such as unstable internet connections and device compatibility, and positive perceptions from teachers and students regarding the use of the application.

Abstract

This study examines the problem of the success rate of computer course program participants at LKP Mitra Prestasi which is still an obstacle for institutional administrators. By applying a hybrid model approach in machine learning, which combines Random Forest and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithms through the assembly merging technique, this study aims to develop a predictive model that is able to estimate the success rate of participants and recognize variables that contribute to the achievement of learning outcomes. The probability outputs from both models are used as an input feature for the Logistic Regression meta-classifier that studies the optimal combination of predictions to produce final graduation decisions. This approach leverages the Random Forest's advantages in recognizing static features and LSTM in recognizing temporal patterns. Research data was obtained from 100 course participants which included demographic information, academic performance, as well as data on the order of attendance and assignment submission. The research findings show that the hybrid model with the stacking ensemble built succeeded in achieving 95% accuracy, 95% precision, 100% recall, and 97.44% F1 score, with the main variables affecting graduation being final exam scores, attendance percentage, and accuracy of assignment submission.

Abstract

The digital divide, resulting from economic limitations in accessing the internet, is a significant problem in many communities, including Pujorahayu Village. This research aims to design and implement a router-based Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) network as an affordable communal solution. The methodology employed is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), which was applied to ten households utilizing TP-Link WR845N routers in WISP mode connected to a single primary internet source. The implementation results indicate that the WISP network successfully provides stable and economic internet access, while also positively fostering participation and a spirit of digital collaboration among residents. Nevertheless, several operational challenges were identified, such as limited signal range and potential bandwidth saturation during peak hours. Based on these findings, this research concludes that the solution is technically and socially viable. Further development of a bandwidth management system, the use of additional devices for coverage expansion, and the establishment of a transparent and sustainable communal management model are recommended. The implementation of this model can be replicated in other regions to support equitable internet access and strengthen digital inclusion on a national scale.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Semendawai Suku III merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang memiliki jaringan komputer yang cukup memadai untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar, dengan penerapan utamanya berupa jaringan Local Area Network (LAN) di laboratorium Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi jaringan LAN di laboratorium tersebut dengan mengevaluasi delapan aspek utama yaitu topologi jaringan, perangkat jaringan, pengaturan IP address, media transmisi, kinerja jaringan, keamanan jaringan, ISP yang digunakan serta pemanfaatan jaringan. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi  dan wawancara  langsung dengan kepala laboratorium TKJ untuk memperoleh data yang akurat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa laboratorium menerapkan topologi star dengan infrastruktur yang terdiri dari satu server, dua switch, dan 30 komputer (dengan 10 PC yang sering digunakan). Meskipun kondisi jaringan sudah memadai, monitoring dan evaluasi berkala tetap diperlukan untuk memastikan kinerja jaringan terjaga dengan baik. Kesimpulannya, infrastruktur jaringan LAN di laboratorium TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Semendawai Suku III sudah cukup memadai untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, namun pemeliharaan rutin tetap diperlukan untuk menjaga kestabilan jaringan.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of a web-based Academic Information System (AIS) for Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School using  the Laravel framework. The main objective of this study is to create an integrated and efficient system to manage student academic data, including grades, report cards, attendance, and information about both instructors and students at Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall approach, starting from requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data collection was carried out through interviews with pesantren administrative staff and observation of ongoing academic processes. The findings of the study show that the AIS developed successfully facilitates the digital management of academic data, reducing reliance on manual note-taking, which is prone to errors and slow. The system provides essential modules such as student data management, grade input, attendance recapitulation, student financial reports, and class schedules. System testing using the black box testing method  shows that all functions are operating well and meeting the needs of the user. Thus, this system is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in the management of academic information, as well as support better decision-making at the Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Sido Makmur Village information website to improve the quality of public services, expand access to information, and encourage community participation in village development. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The results showed that the development of the village website had a positive impact on administrative service efficiency, faster information delivery, and increased citizen engagement, particularly among the younger generation. The website also served as a strategic platform for documenting activities, presenting financial reports, and promoting village potential more widely. Despite challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and technical capacity of human resources, the desa-sidomakmur.com website proved to be an innovative solution in strengthening transparent and participatory village governance based on information technology.
