Abstract

Public services play a pivotal role in assessing the effectiveness of local governance, reflecting the government's commitment to societal welfare, and serving as indicators of bureaucratic transparency and efficiency. This research focuses on the design of an application dedicated to Monitoring and Evaluating the Performance of Public Service Providers (PEKPPP) in Garut Regency using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The primary objective of this study is to facilitate data collection, performance measurement, and provide improvement recommendations in accordance with prevailing regulations. Through literature review, observation, and interviews, comprehensive data were gathered to understand PEKPPP thoroughly. The RAD approach was adopted for system development, encompassing the stages of Requirements Planning, Design, and Implementation. System design involves the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system modeling and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for database modeling. This research is expected to contribute to enhancing the quality of public services in Garut Regency by providing a tool for efficient data collection, performance measurement, and improvement recommendations. Keywords: application, performance evaluation, RAD

Abstract

Abstract: The very rapid development of information technology is something that cannot be avoided in a very modern era like today. The role of technology is very large in human activities, for example legal aspects, health aspects and other aspects. The development of information systems is able to facilitate and help human work so that they can complete work effectively and efficiently. In this research, researchers used the waterfall method, where the waterfall method is something that describes a systematic and sequential (step by step) approach to software development. Researchers use UML modeling to model the process of the system to be built. The implementation of requirements for this system is taken based on the results of previous requirements analysis which includes several requirements including software requirements and hardware requirements. Apart from implementing these two requirements, the implementation process further includes the system implementation process by implementing code using the PHP programming language, database using MySQL and local server using XAMPP. It is hoped that this service information system will make the legal consultation service process at the institution more efficient. Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based CCTV monitoring application for the Command Center of Garut Regency using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method. The application addresses the issues of inefficient real-time security monitoring and limited mobile device access. RAD was chosen due to its capability for rapid and responsive development according to user needs. The outcome is an application that visualizes CCTV devices deployed across various locations. Data integration from these CCTV sources enables operators to efficiently monitor security situations. System testing, conducted through black box testing, validated the functionality of the application, demonstrating the successful implementation of the RAD method in its development. In conclusion, this CCTV monitoring application effectively enhances security monitoring efficiency in Garut Regency. The utilization of RAD accelerates application development and ensures alignment with user requirements. Consequently, this application can serve as an effective solution for improving security in the region.

Abstract

PT XYZ Tbk is the largest transportation rental service company in Indonesia. However, the process of submitting a lease from a customer still takes a long time and a lot of resources because it is done manually. It's very important for an organization to facilitate the business process with digitalization and to change physical files and documents to digital files (paperless) in the form of e-documents accompanied by e-digital signatures so that the process becomes faster, more effective and efficient. Therefore, this research purpose is to propose an E-Rent vehicle rental system to digitalize the current business processes. To determine the proposed design, research was conducted by analyzing user requirements, system requirements and conducting design modeling using the Object Oriented Analysis and Design method. Based on the result of the research conducted, it is expected the proposed system can meet the needs of the users in the vehicle rental process., both the users in the company and the customers.

Abstract

The planning for the development of Information Systems and Technologyis carried out with themain goal of realizing the Vision and Mission of Higher Education. The Information System design frameworkused is TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) - ADM (Architecture Development Methode), in that frameworkconsistsof several steps of implementing a representative architectural design to beused in architectural design at the Toyota Indonesia Community Academy which focuseson Business, Data, Applications and Technology. For the information system security management system, TOGAF-ADM can collaboratewith ISO 27001:2013, wherewhen we plan the development of the enterprise information system architecture for universities, we must also focus on information system security in accordance with the information system security system contained in the ISO 27001 :2013. By using a combination framework between TOGAF-ADMand ISO 27001, it is very appropriate to be used as a method for planning Enterprise Architecture in Higher Education that prioritizes business, applicationsand technologyand adopts an information security management system from ISO 27001.

Abstract

In higher education, the completion of a thesis within a 1 -year timeframe is a prerequisite for graduation. The selection of a thesistopic is influenced by personal interest, the expertiseof the thesis supervisor, and data availability. This research is designed to analyzethe thesis topics of Economics Faculty students at Garut University using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) Modeling method. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative approaches, this research applies the concept of big data with techniques such as Data Crawling, Data Preprocessing, and Text Mining. The research successfully conducted topic modeling using the LDA method. The analysis showed that topic modeling with the LDA algorithm resulted in seven common thesis topics used in the students' thesis titles. With this, theresearch contributes to the understanding and efficacy in the determination of students' thesis topics. It is hoped that the results of this research can be utilized to assist in the efficient completion of theses.

Abstract

SatuSehat is a contact tracing application that replaces the PeduliLindungi application initiated by the Government of Indonesia with the aim of tracking the Covid -19 Virus. The success of the application can be known by analyzing sentiment reviews. In addition to the high number of reviews, there are also other things that need to be highlighted, namely the pattern of reviews that are not in accordance with refined spelling and diverse topics, so that identifying a topic from a collection of reviews is very difficult and takes a lot of time if done manually by humans. This research describes sentiment analysis and topic modeling on SatuSehat app user reviews. By applying Support Vector Machine (SVM) method for sentiment analysis and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling, this study reveals the views and trends expressed by users. The analyzed review data from Google Play Store includes 171,428 positive reviews and 131,246 negative reviews. The sentiment analysis results indicated the dominance of positive responses. LDA modeling resulted in 8 identified topics, from health concerns to app appreciation. However, negative topics included vaccination challenges, access issues, and app functionality. This research provides insight into users' perceptions of the SatuSehat app, providing a basis for further development and improvement of the app.

Abstract

In the current era, technological advancements in Indonesia have created extensive resources for information and communication for the community also equal with basic human needs such as clothing and food. SMKN 2 GARUT is a favorite school in Garut city, with a focus on academic and non-academic achievements. Despite the school utilizing technology such as a website, the alumni data management system, including tracer studies, is still conducted manually. This research for develop a website-based tracer study information system for SMKN 2 GARUT. Currently, alumni data is collected through the filling of biodata forms, which are then submitted to the Counseling guidance for consolidation and management. After verification, the data is sent to Headmaster. However, the system still relies on manual processes with the use of poorly managed gform links. This leads to delays in information delivery, ease of data duplication, and human error risks. In this research, the researcher employs the prototype development method, which includes requirement analysis, prototype design, system implementation, program coding, and testing. The tracer study system is developed using PHP 7.0 programming language with CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. Based on the conducted development analysis, this application improves the average time efficiency compared to the previous system. Additionally, the use of this application reduces costs in generating alumni data reports and facilitates alumni data management at SMKN 2 GARUT. This tracer study information system effectively manages alumni data, provides appropriate control, and can be accessed through internet technology.
