Abstract

This article was written to address complex educational issues, such as declining learning quality, bullying, and acts of violence, which demand the presence of competent and ethical education managers. This study examines the criteria and ethics of an educational manager from the perspective of the Qur’an. It employs a qualitative approach based on a literature study using the maudhu’i (thematic interpretation) method. The primary data consists of relevant Qur’anic verses, supported by secondary sources from books and journals. The findings indicate that a Qur’anic-based manager must meet specific criteria, such as being knowledgeable (QS. 2:247), possessing integrity and competence (QS. 28:26), and demonstrating justice and managerial ability (QS. 16:90; QS. 39:62). In terms of ethics, a manager should be gentle (QS. 3:159), humble (QS. 17:37), honest (QS. 83:1-3), and serve as a good role model (QS. 33:21). These values support the role of the manager in creating a harmonious educational environment oriented toward collective success. This research emphasizes the importance of meritocracy in selecting educational managers and the need to apply Qur’anic values in educational management.

Abstract

This study critically examines the management strategies of nasab-based religious authority among the Habaib in Indonesia, emphasizing the hybridity between traditional and modern forms of leadership. Utilizing a qualitative systematic literature review guided by the PRISMA framework, combined with Critical Discourse Analysis, the research analyzes 25 key scholarly articles alongside empirical digital media content and field observations. Grounded in Max Weber’s typology of authority, the findings reveal that lineage from the Prophet Muhammad serves as a foundational source of charismatic legitimacy for the Habaib, which is actively maintained through religious symbolism, public narratives, and social engagement. The study highlights a strategic adaptation to digital media platforms, enabling the Habaib to expand their influence beyond conventional institutions and engage younger, urban Muslim audiences. This digital hybridity complements institutional participation in formal religious and political spheres, fostering a dual legitimacy that navigates the tensions between tradition and modernity. The implications underscore the significance of hybrid authority models in sustaining religious leadership amid sociocultural modernization and digital transformation in Muslim-majority societies. Limitations include geographic concentration on Java and Sumatra and focus on social media-active groups. Recommendations for future research advocate broader, comparative investigations of nasab-based authority and its impact on religious pluralism and community cohesion

Abstract

The development of the Industry 5.0 era requires college graduates to have adaptive digital entrepreneurship competencies in line with technological advances and social needs. The urgency of this research arises because colleges are faced with the challenge of preparing human resources who are ready to face the Industry 5.0 era while contributing to economic progress. However, many universities have not fully implemented digital entrepreneurship in their curricula, with education remaining theoretical without practical experience. This study examines the application of creative technological innovation and edupreneurship in student digital entrepreneurship through a case study of Aetheria Creative Agency in Yogyakarta. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data was collected through indepth interviews with the CEO of Aetheria and direct observation at the location. Documentation of Aetheria's activities also served as a data source. The research findings show that Aetheria combines three main strategies: design, digitalization, and personalization, supported by technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital marketing. Students act as innovators, collaborators, and decision-makers within a human-centered digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. Digital innovation and edupreneurship impact the development of competencies such as critical thinking, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and digital literacy. This study underscores the importance of educational institutions in creating an integrated, solution-oriented, and relevant digital entrepreneurship ecosystem in the era of Industry 5.0.
