Abstract

Abstract

Consumer protection is an important aspect in maintaining a balance between the interests of consumers and business actors, especially in the digital era that is full of new challenges. Strong regulations and strict supervision are needed so that consumer rights are not neglected. However, there are still many consumers who do not understand their rights, making them vulnerable to harmful business practices. In Islam, consumer protection also receives great attention through the principles of honesty, openness, and fairness in transactions. This research uses the literature review method to analyze the implementation of consumer protection, the obstacles faced, and the solutions offered. The results show that there are still many problems in the implementation of consumer protection, especially in digital transactions. The discussion also includes a comparison of international regulations, the importance of consumer education, and the role of supervisory institutions. An Islamic approach is offered as a complement to the modern legal system to realize more comprehensive protection. In conclusion, increasing public awareness, law enforcement, and strengthening the role of supervisors are key to optimizing consumer protection in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

A culture of quality in the education environment, especially in primary schools, is a fundamental factor in improving the quality of learning and school management. One of the efforts to achieve this is through the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), which aims to ensure the fulfillment of educational standards on an ongoing basis. This study aims to analyze the strategic steps in building a culture of quality through the implementation of SPMI in primary schools. The literature research method was used to review various relevant literatures related to the concept of quality culture, SPMI policies, and best practices that have been implemented in various basic education institutions. The results show that the implementation of SPMI requires the commitment of all stakeholders, the establishment of a quality assurance team, thorough socialization, and the integration of the PPPEP cycle (Mapping, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and Control) in the learning process. In addition, strengthening the quality culture through habituation, teacher training, and active participation of the school community is the key to success. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of commitment, synergy and innovation in building a quality and competitive education system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of educational quality control in Islamic schools outside the Ministry of Education and Culture (non-Kemendikbud) by integrating spirituality and professionalism as foundational pillars. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical library research design, this study examines academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, policy documents, and relevant previous studies related to quality management and Islamic education. The findings indicate that effective quality control in Islamic non-Kemendikbud schools is achieved through the integration of Islamic spirituality manifested in values such as sincerity (ikhlāṣ), trustworthiness (amānah), and moral responsibility with teacher professionalism encompassing pedagogical, social, and managerial competencies. This integration fosters a quality assurance system characterized by ethical commitment, participatory culture, and continuous improvement. Pedagogically, the model emphasizes the alignment of moral values with professional standards, ensuring that quality enhancement extends beyond academic achievement to encompass character formation and institutional integrity. This study contributes theoretically by offering a conceptual framework for spirituality based quality control and practically by providing a relevant paradigm for strengthening the governance and competitiveness of contemporary Islamic educational institutions.
