Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keuntungan, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dalam usaha pengolahan Gammi Cempa berdasarkan indikator RCR, BEP (Produksi, Harga, dan Penjualan), Payback Period serta ROI (Return on investment) serta mengetahui saluran pemasaran Gammi Cempa di Kampung Giring-Giring Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk, Kabupaten Berau. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu metode sensus (jenuh) dengan jumlah responden 5 pengolah Gammi Cempa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survey. Analisis data menggunakan rumus total biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, revenue cost ratio (RCR), BEP produksi, harga dan penjualan, payback period, dan return on investment (ROI). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan total keuntungan sebesar Rp. 4.577.180,-/Bln dengan rata-rata Rp.915.436,-/Bln. Usaha pengolahan Gammi Cempa dilihat dari indikator RCR, BEP, Payback Period dan ROI layak untuk dilanjutkan. Pemasaran produk Gammi Cempa ini hanya di Wilayah Kampung Giring-Giring Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk. Saluran pemasaran yang terbentuk adalah saluran pemasaran tingkat 0 dan tingkat 1.

This research aimed to (1) Know the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District, (2) know the factors affecting the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu SubDistrict Kutai Kertanegara District.Sampling was done through census method. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used was analysis of likert scale and suparman formulation. The research result showed that the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District can be seen in terms of partial and accumulative, which is: partially, the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District was in medium category based on the participation indicator in which the awareness score is 15.2, the involvement score is 8.7, and the benefit score is 8.5. Furthermore, accumulatively, the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District was also in medium category with the score of 32.4. Factors affecting the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District is factor of fish cultivation experience, job, and area width.

The goal of research is to identify the profil of groups and the dynamics of fisheries groups that are in the village Sanga-Sanga Muara districts Sanga-Sanga at Kutai Kartanegara regency. The kind of data retrieval used in this research is the survey method. Primary data sources obtained using primary data and secondary data. As for the indicators of that : group goals, group structures, group functions, group effectiveness, group development or maintenance, group unity and cohesiveness, group atmosphere, group tension. The result of this study indicate that the level of group dynamics that are in the village of village sanga-sanga muara districts of sanga-sanga at Kutai Kartanegara regency with a total score of 72.6 in the high level category.

This research aims to analyze the business and the profit sharing pattern of fisheries fishermen in Tanjung Laut Indah Village. The research used the survey method and applied purposive sampling that selected 45 respondents based on 3 types of fishing gear. The respondents composed by 15 owners and 30 crews of capture fisheries business. The method of data analysis using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this research indicated that the average income of gill net fishermen in Tanjung Laut Indah Village was Rp 15.314.800/month/respondent in the harvest season and Rp 4.634.800/month/respondent in the non harvest season. The average profit of troll line fisherman was Rp. 12.742.033,33/month/respondent in the harvest season and Rp. 9.432.033,33/month/respondent in the non harvest season. The average profit for barrier trap fisherman in Tanjung Laut Indah Village was Rp. 9.619.800/month / respondent in the harvest season and Rp. 3.379.800/ month / respondent in the non harvest season. The profit sharing pattern of catch fisheries business in Tanjung Laut Indah Village that used gill nets, troll line, and barrier trap swhowed the same pattern, that were 50% of profit shared for the owner and 50% for the fishermen crews.

The purpose of this study was to determine the income of fishermen families that involving wives in productive activities of salted fish processing and to know the role of fishermen's wives in the types of productive activities of salted fish processing and income contributions in increasing family income. This research was conducted in March 2018 - March 2019 in Berbas Pantai Village, Bontang City. The sampling method applied the census method that selected all of 15 fishermen households in research site, consisting of 15 husbands and 15 wives. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive methods and to find out family income was analyzed using the analysis of revenue and income. The results of the family income analysis showed that women/wives who did processing by buying raw materials have smaller income ( average of Rp. 977,820.36 / month) than women/wives who did processing by obtaining raw materials through the husband's catch (average of Rp. 4,020,944.50 / month). The role of fishermen's wives in productive activities of salted fish processing were cleaning fish, drying and collecting the results of dried fish. The contribution of wives' income in the family was in average of 59% (for women who processed salted fish by buying the raw material) and 37% (for women who processed salted fish by obtaining raw material from the husband's catch).

This study was conducted for 6 months. It was started from October 2018 until March 2019. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the elucidation has been effective implemented the performance in prohibition of catch the Crab (scyllaseratta) in Muara Badak village. This study also was to find out the problems was faced by the investigator related to the prohibition policy of the crab with certain measure and the female who laid the eggs in the study location. The sampling method in this study was census method. The data was analysed with descriptive quantitative method with the Likert- Scale based on the answer from 24 questions to measure the effectiveness of investigator’s performance toward the implementation of elucidation about PERMEN-KP NOMOR 56/PERMEN-KP/2016 with the total 50 respondents. This study used Quantity of Work, Quality of Work, Job Knowledge, Creativenes, Cooporation, Dependability, Initiative, Personal Qualities as the indicators of investigator’s performance. The findings of the study showed that the effectiveness of investigator’s performance toward the implementation of elucidation about PERMEN-KP NOMOR 56/PERMEN-KP/2016 partially based on the indicators of Quantity of Work with the score 5,34 Job Knoeledgewith the score 6,46, Cooporation with the score 5,12, Initiativewith the score 5,38, Personal Qualitieswith the score 6,5 was in average category. Overall the indicators were in average category with the score 39,86. Thus the performance of extension agents in Muara Badak ilir Village, Muara Badak Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency is said to not be good enough in carrying out its duties as a socialization of the PERMEN-KP NOMOR56 / PERMEN-KP2016

The purpose of this study were to determine the socio-economic characteristics, perception, motivation, and public attitudes towards regional coastal development program. Also to know the relationship between socioeconomic characteristic, perception and motivation with public attitudes of the Bontang Baru fisherman community toward the program implementation of water conservation area in Bontang City coral zone. Sampling method use census sampling with 54 respondents. The research has been conducted on Februari to Oktober 2017. Data analysis methods use descriptive qualitative method and quantitative analysis method with Rank Spearman’s correlation. The socioeconomic characteristics factors not related with attitudes of the Bontang Baru fisherman community toward the program implementation of water conservation area in Bontang City coral zone. The perception factor has realitionship to attitude on variabel of conseption conformity and the extention intensity toward the fisherman attitude. The motivation factor has realitionship to attitude on variabel the recognition of creadibility toward the attitudes of the Bontang Baru fisherman community toward the program implementation of water conservation area in Bontang City coral zone.

Tanjung Batu Village was coastal area which had very big fisheries potency that was utilized by the fishermen society. Natural resources and and social economic condition which has changed giving effect to fisherman society prosperity. This research aim was to analze prosperity level based on indicator of Fisherman Exchange Value (Nilai Tukar Nelayan/NTN) and to identify the fisherman society saving behavior on Tanjung Batu Village Derawan Island Sub-District Berau Regency. This research was conducted on September 2017 to June 2018 in the Tanjung Batu Village, Pulau Derawan Sub-District, Berau Regency. Research was used the case study method and applied purposive sampling to select 50 respondents based on six dominant fishing gear which were usually used. Data were analyzed by qualitative-quantitative descriptive method that focused on Fisherman Exchange Value (Nilai Tukar Nelayan /NTN), Index of Fisherman Exchange Value (Indeks Nilai Tukar Nelayan/INTN) and the fishermen society saving behavior. NTN analysis result showed that NTN value of fisherman family in 2016 and 2017 was still above one but decreased. INTN analysis result of fisherman family in 2016 and 2017 was under 100% and decreased. Fisherman Family on Tanjung Batu Village had financial surplus and saving potency based on the NTN value.

This study aimed to describe the characteristics of the fisherman's wife who works and does not work, knowing parenting fishermen families in the Village Berbas Pantai. Research conducted at the Village Berbas Pantai District of Bontang Selatan, Bontang.Samples were fisherman's wife who works and does not work in the public sector with the criteria of having children aged 0-18 years as many as 66 people. Retrieving data using census method were analyzed by using descriptive and presented in narrative form, tables, and percentages.The results showed fisherman's wife age range 18-62 years, mostly aged 30-33 years (21.21%) and mostly just graduated from elementary school (56.06%). with the largest tribal groups are Bugis (69.61%). Most of the fisherman's wife did not work (60.60%). Type and parenting (procreation) either work or not work is the same. Parenting meal, respondents generally the exclusive breast feeding to infants 1 month - 2,5 years, after not depend on mother's milk feeding is done every child is hungry or crying percentage (95.45%) and only (4.54%) at the time certain. If their child is sick there is also brought to the clinic or doctor's clinic. Child respondents had education from early childhood / kindergarten (6:06%) to graduate SMA / SMK (15.15%) according to their age. Type parenting applied by the fisherman's wife is the type of democratic decision-making husband and wife to act democratically against children in order to get a good upbringing of the family.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the community’s Attitudes of Kampung Teluk Semanting towards Derawan Island Coastal Park Program (TPKD) and its correlationship with individual characteristics, socio-cultural dynamics and the public perception of the quality of TPKD Program. The sampling method applied in this study was census methods and the number of respondents were 40 people. This research was conducted during August 2015 in Kampung Teluk Semanting, Berau district. Spearman Rank correlation statistics test was applied to analyze the correlationship of individual characteristics, socio-cultural dynamics and the public perception of the quality programs towards the community’s attitudes of TPKD Program. Spearman Rank correlation test results showed that individual characteristics and dynamics of socio-cultural community has no real correlations towards the cummunity’s attitudes on TPKD Program. The variables that showed very real significant correlation towards the community’s attitudes on TPKD Program was the public perception of program quality, spesifically was the suitability of the program concept indicators.
