From the results of the study it can be concluded that mangrove ecosystems in the village of Tanjung Limau, Muara Badak District, were found in 5 types, namely (R. apiculata, A. alba, N. fruticans, C. tagal and S. alba). With species density ranging from 1-68 individuals / ha and thickness of mangroves between 160-200 m. While the results of the tourism suitability index obtained categories according to the carrying capacity of the region 8-10 people / day. There are 3 management strategies and development of mangrove ecotourism in Tanjung Limau Village, namely: first to make proposals to the private sector and the government in improving the management and development of mangrove ecotourism through capital assistance and improvement of tourism facilities and infrastructure in Tanjung Village, secondly to increase / encourage government participation in helping the community to manage and develop mangrove ecotourism and thirdly to coordinate and collaborate between communities, NGOs, the private sector and the government in managing and developing mangrove ecotourism.

Sumber daya perikanan adalah potensi yang membutuhkan pengembangan dalam pengembangan ekonomi regional, terutama di Balikpapan, mengingat wilayah pesisir dan lautnya. Potensi sumber daya perikanan sebagai sumber daya terbarukan dapat menjadi sumber ekonomi alternatif dalam mewujudkan tujuan dan sasaran pembangunan ekonomi di Balikpapan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Basis ekonomi sektor perikanan dalam meningkatkan ekonomi regional Balikpapan; (2) Efek pengganda pendapatan sektor perikanan terhadap peningkatan ekonomi regional Balikpapan; (3) Pindah shift positif dan negatif di sektor perikanan di Kalimantan Timur dan Balikpapan.Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah pesisir Balikpapan menggunakan data dari Biro Pusat Statistik Balikpapan dan Departemen Pertanian, Perikanan dan Pangan pada tahun 2010-2017. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis, Income Multiplier Effects, dan Shift Share Analysis (SSA).Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Sektor Perikanan di Kota Balikpapan adalah sektor non-basis dengan nilai LQ 0,29 - 0,36 pada 2010 - 2017, (2) Nilai efek pengali adalah -219,70, mencapai 658,59 pada tahun 2016, dan terendah adalah -219,70 pada tahun 2017 (3) Nilai SSA -0,28 menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor perikanan di tingkat Provinsi Kalimantan Timur dikombinasikan dengan sektor perikanan Kota Balikpapan pada periode 2010 - 2017 relatif lambat atau regresif. Sedangkan untuk net shift (Pb), perekonomian Balikpapan dengan nilai Pb = 1,03 menunjukkan bahwa sektor ekonomi dikategorikan sebagai cepat dan kompetitif dengan Kabupaten/Kota lain

This research is about economic analysis of giant shrimp cultivation in the Ngusa Taka Group in Sengkong Village, Sesayap Hilir District, Tana Tidung Regency. Carrying out this research for 3 months starting on August 1, 2021 until October 31, 2021 with the object of research being giant shrimp cultivation which is the “Ngusa Taka Group” in Sengkong Village, Sesayap Hilir District, Tana Tidung Regency. The number of cultivators of giant shrimp in the Ngusa Taka Group is 20. Sampling in this study used the census method. Then obtained the number of respondents who will be used in this study as many as 20 cultivators of giant shrimp. The data obtained from the research results will be processed and analyzed and then presented in the form of tables and schematics as well as descriptive descriptions. Giant shrimp cultivation in the Ngusa Taka Group in Sengkong Village, Sesayap Hilir District, Tana Tidung Regency based on indicators of revenue cost ratio, break even point, payback period, and return on investment, obtained the results of the analysis that this business is feasible to continue.

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of perception of the Malahing community towards the development of tourism potential in Malahing Village, Tanjung Laut Indah Village, Bontang Selatan District, Bontang City. The research phase began in September 2019 and the final examination was carried out in December 2020. Sampling used the quouta sampling method, which is to gather information from a number of certain people (15 respondents) who are considered to be able to provide responses (their perceptions) about tourism development in Malahing Village. The method using the Likert scale is used to reveal respondents' perceptions about the discourse of developing the tourism potential of Malahing Village. The results showed the level of perception of the Malahing community towards the development of tourism potential in Malahing Village cumulatively with a high category with a score of 20.2 which was in the class interval 16.36 - 21.00, meaning that the community was very supportive of developing tourism potential in Malahing Village, Tanjung Village. The dynamics of a group can be used as one of the indicators of interaction dynamics (group relations), both internal and external, in a group to achieve the group’s goal. This study aimed at investigating the dynamics level of “SuksesMandiri” fishery processing group in the fisheries processing business in Keledang Mas Baru housing community, Samarinda Seberang sub-district, Samarinda City. All series of this study was conducted for 6 months starting from February to July 2020, and it was located in Samarinda Seberang sub-district, Samarinda City. The sample was taken based on the census method that all population members (fishery processing group) with five (5) people in total were included as the respondents. Data collection was done by doing observation and conducting an interview using a questionnaire. To measure the dynamics level of the fishery processing group, the data were processed using a Likert scale. It was done by giving a score for each respondent’s answer. The highest score was 3 and the lowest score was 1. The result showed that the dynamics level of “Sukses Mandiri” fishery processing group in the fisheries processing business in Keledang Mas Baru housing community, Samarinda Seberang sub-district, Samarinda City was in the high category (dynamic) with a score of 78.8 at a range of 71 - 90. This research aimed to analyze the effect of capital and employees on the production and income of milkfish ponds business as well as analyze the factor which is more dominant in affecting the production and income of milkfish ponds business. The field data collection was done in July 2019 in Babulu Laut Village. The sampling method used Proportional Stratified Systematic Sampling with the total sample of 32 people. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 16. The research results obtained that: (1) capital and employee factors significantly affects the production and income of milkfish ponds business; (2) the dominant factor in affecting the production and income of milkfish ponds is the employee factors. The study aimed at financially analyzing the business viability of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery by Alam Subur fish farmer group and analyzing the sensitivity level of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur fish farmer group against the economic variable changes in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district. Data collection from the field was conducted in December 2019; the primary data was collected by conducting a direct interview with the respondents using a list of questions made according to the research objective. Sampling was done using the census method and all population members (3 people) became the respondents. To know the business viability, the researcher conducted the financial analysis using the following indicators: NPV, IRR, Nen, and B/CPbP, and the sensitivity analysis to know the sensitivity level to both benefits and costs. The result of the analysis showed an NPV of 89.858.225, an IRR of 117%, an NBCR of 3.7, and a Payback Period of 1.35 years. Consequently, Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur Fish Farmer Group in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district, was viable (profitable) and it can be maintained. The result of the sensitivity analysis showed that Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur Fish Farmer Group in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district, was very sensitive to a decline in revenue and an increase in costs. This research was aimed to calculate the economic performance of the Bawis fish chip processing business at UMKM Saputra Snack based on a feasibility analysis which includes; Revenue Cost Ratio (RCR), Break Event Points (Sales, Production, and Prices), Payback Period, and Return On Investment (ROI). This research was conducted in September 2020. Primary data was obtained through observation and interviews which were guided by a list of questions made according to the research objectives. Sample determination referred to the conditional/objective sampling method. The results show that the value of RCR is 3.55, the break-even point of sales is Rp. 1,259,607 per month, which is lesser than its actual sales of Rp. 18,000,000 per month; the breakeven point of production is 63 packs per month, which is lesser than the actual production of 900 packs per month; the breakeven price is Rp. 1,400 per pack which is lesser than the actual price of Rp. 20,000 per pack; the payback period is 1.41 months (0.12 years) and the result of ROI analysis shows a value of 71.10%. The results of the analysis of the overall economic performance show that the Bawis fish chip processing business at UMKM Saputra Snack is profitable and feasible to continue. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between factors of beauty, comfort, safety, tariff, hospitality, uniqueness and cleanliness with satisfaction level of marine tourists and describe satisfaction level of marine tourists in coastal area of Kaniungan Island, Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Biduk-Biduk Sub-District. Sampling was conducted through accidental sampling technique with a sample size of 35 respondents. Furthermore, research data were analyzed using Likert Scale Method and Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient. The results showed that: there was a relationship between factors of beauty, comfort, safety, tariff, hospitality, uniqueness and cleanliness with satisfaction level of marine tourists in coastal areas of Kaniungan Island, Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Biduk-Biduk Sub-District. Additionally, satisfaction level of marine tourists with factors of beauty, comfort, safety, tariff, hospitality, uniqueness and cleanliness was at a high level with ‘satisfied’ criteria. The purposed of this study was to determine the level of implementation of the task of assisting fisheries instructors in fostering farmers in Muara Jawa District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research was conducted in Muara Jawa District for 9 months starting in February - October 2019. The collection of primary data in this study was conducted by observation and direct interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. Secondary data in the form of documents that support research carried out by means of literature study. Determination of the sample using Purposive Sampling and Systematic Sampling methods with total sample of 57 fish farmers. Data is presented in tabular form and processed in quantitative descriptive manner, each question is given a score based on the Likert Scale. The results showed that the level of implementation of the task of extension fisheries instructors in Muara Jawa District Kutai Kartanegara Regency was included in the high category with a score of 75.49, in the range of 70.1 - 90.0, which means the task of assisting fisheries instructors in Muara Jawa District had been running well.
