Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject in class IV SD Negeri 3 Namang are due to the conventional learning method that is still being used, which does not involve students directly in the learning practice. This old-fashioned learning method makes IPAS learning unattractive and boring for students. There is a need for change in implementing learning using the Discovery Learning method. The research question is whether the application of the Discovery Learning method in IPAS lessons can improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the application of the Discovery Learning method can improve student learning outcomes. This research uses Classroom Action Research. Data analysis is carried out using quantitative descriptive methods. The results show that the application of the Discovery Learning model is effective in significantly improving student learning outcomes. The average learning outcome obtained through tests in the first cycle was 50%, and in the second cycle, there was an increase in the average learning outcome to 76.66%. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the application of the Discovery Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Namang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the availability of learning media which is still limited and based on an analysis of students’s needs that media is needed in the learning process. The aim of this research is to develop a science teaching aid with a cross-sectional model of human blood circulation made from recycled material that is feasible and practical for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE procedure with 5 stages, such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 16 Toboali. Data collection techniques and instruments in the form of a questionnaires. The data analysis technique is in the form of quantitative descriptive, namely the feasibility data carried out by material experts and media experts using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Practicality data is carried out thought teacher responses and students responses using the Guttmen scale. Based on the results of the material validator’s assessment, it was found to be 95,3% (very eligible) and the media validator was 81,8% (very eligible). The practicality test results are known to be 83,8% (very practical). The result of the teacher’s response through a questionnaire was 100% (very practical). Therefore, it can be interpreted that the learning media for science teaching aid, a Cross-Sectional Model of Human Blood Circulation Made from Recycled Materials in fifht grade in Elementary School Students, is very feasible and practical to use

Abstract

This research is motivated by students’ lack of understanding of economic activities due to the inappropriate use of learning media to describe economic activity material and its relationship with various fields of work around where they live. This research aims to produce digital comic learning media for social studies learning material for class IV economic activities at SD Negeri 43 Pangkalpinang that is feasible and practical. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) development model. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive using a Likert scale, the Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, and a paired t-test. The subjects in this research were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 43 Pangkalpinang. This research produces digital comic learning media that is “feasible and practical." This can be seen from the material expert validation percentage results of 88.88% and the media expert validation results of 94.66%. Furthermore, the results of the practicality of learning media from the results of student questionnaire responses in small classes were 97.33%, and the results in large classes were 97.65%. Based on the pretest and posttest results, the average pretest score was 51.66, and the average posttest value was 81.00. Based on the paired t-test results, it was obtained that t_count>t_le was 15.832>1.699, meaning that Ha was accepted.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak signifikan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk dalam pendidikan keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan digitalisasi Al-Qur’an di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) sebagai upaya meningkatkan akidah anak-anak di Desa Tanjungpura. Dengan memanfaatkan media digital seperti aplikasi Al-Qur’an interaktif, video pembelajaran, dan platform daring, proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan mudah diakses oleh peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi Al-Qur’an mampu meningkatkan minat belajar anak, memperkuat pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai Islam, serta menumbuhkan kecintaan mereka terhadap Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi juga membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi secara lebih variatif dan efisien. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa digitalisasi Al-Qur’an merupakan langkah strategis dalam memperkuat akidah anak sejak usia dini, terutama di era digital saat ini.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi menuntut siswa untuk memahami perangkat keras komputer sebagai bagian dari literasi digital. Namun, di beberapa sekolah, keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman siswa di bidang ini. Penelitian ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 04 Parittiga Desa Bakit dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang perangkat keras komputer. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 40 siswa dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan pergeseran nilai dari dominan rendah (30–40) menjadi dominan tinggi (80–90) dan rata-rata penurunan kesalahan menjawab per soal sebesar 48%. Program ini juga berkontribusi pada upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui peningkatan literasi digital di sekolah, sejalan dengan semangat pembangunan berkelanjutan yang diusung dalam pelaksanaan KKN.

Abstract

Pelatihan hidroponik merupakan teknik bercocok tanam tanpa menggunakan media tanah akan tetapi menggunakan media air. Bercocok tanam dapat meningkatkan karakter seseorang terutama karakter peduli terhadap lingkungan. Kemampuan pendidikan karakter masyarakat Desa Jelutung menagalami penurunan terkait kepedulian terhadap tanaman dan juga kebersihan. Tujuan diadakan pelatihan Hidroponik untuk menanamkan kembali nilai karakter dan juga menambah wawasan masyarakat yang terdiri anak-anak, remaja, dan orang tua terkait bercocok tanam dengan cara hidroponik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan memberikan pemahaman secara ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktek cara mempersiapkan hidroponik. Hasil dari pelatihan ini yakni kegiatan diberikan dalam tiga sesi,sesi I mengenai pengertian hidroponik, sesi II tentang pendidikan karakter hidroponik melalui penggunaan bahan habis pakai di sekitar, dan sesi III praktek hidroponik mulai cari cara penyemaian sampai pemanenan, dan diakhiri dengan sesi Tanya jawab.

Abstract

The problem underlying this study is the low learning outcomes of students in the topic of addition, which are still below average. One solution to address this issue is by using concrete and engaging learning media. This study aims to understand the impact of using the Cliff Board media on the learning outcomes of addition material in the second-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Merawang. The study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design of Pre-Experimental Design using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. A total of 30 second-grade students from SD Negeri 7 Merawang participated as the subjects of this study. Data collection was carried out using a written test consisting of 7 essay questions. The study shows that the average pretest score was 49.13, while the average posttest score was 76.57, indicating an improvement of 27.44 in learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing using the paired-sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the Cliff Board media on the students' mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of addition in second-grade students at SD Negeri 7 Merawang.

Abstract

Practical difficulties often hinder students' understanding of simple electrical circuits. Confirmative practicums limit creativity as they do not provide opportunities for students to explore experiments independently. Furthermore, traditional practicums fail to accommodate diverse conceptual levels, including high and low electrical flow comprehension. To address these challenges, this study aimed to develop a virtual lab supplemented with an alternative solution worksheet for teaching simple electrical circuits to elementary school students. The research employed the Alessi & Trollip development model, encompassing three stages: planning, designing, and developing. Each stage involved continuous evaluations to ensure the quality of the developed product. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with validation performed by material and media experts. Data analysis utilized qualitative descriptive techniques to assess the product's effectiveness. The results indicated that the material validation test achieved an average score classified as "very good," with a percentage of 85.00%. Similarly, media validation results demonstrated an average percentage of 80.11%, also categorized as "very good." The implementation of the virtual lab showed significant improvements in students' understanding, as reflected in their test scores. The average pre-test score was 31.63, which increased substantially to an average post-test score of 70.51. These findings suggest that the virtual lab, combined with alternative solution worksheets, effectively enhances students' conceptual understanding and creativity in learning simple electrical circuits. This approach offers a promising alternative to traditional practicums for improving science education in elementary schools.
