Abstract

Jalan Soekarno Hatta menjadi penghubung antara Kota Labuan Bajo dengan jalan Trans Flores menuju kabupaten lain di Kota Flores. Jalan ini berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan tingkat kerusakan jalan menggunakan metode Bina Marga No.18/T/BNKT/1990, serta memberikan alternatif solusi perbaikannya. Ruas jalan yang diteliti mempunyai panjang 3500 m, lebar 7 m, dan hanya terdapat satu arah. Kerusakan jalan yang paling dominan adalah retak-retak dan kekasaran permukaan, penyebabnya adalah beban yang melebihi batas yang dapat dipikul oleh lapisan permukaan, serta pengaruh cuaca terutama hujan. Kerusakan dapat diperbaiki dengan menambal lubang, menambah lapisan perkerasan, dan melakukan pelapisan taburan aspal pada segmen jalan yang mengalami retak. Nilai prioritas kondisi ruas jalan ini adalah 7 sehingga termasuk dalam program pemeliharaan rutin.

Abstract

Perbaikan tanah dengan metode stabilisasi pada tanah lempung ekspansif merupakan suatu hal penting yang harus dilakukan sebelum mendirikan suatu bangunan.  Tanah lempung ekspansif adalah tanah yang dapat mengalami kembang susut  ketika perubahan cuaca. Salah satu metode stabilisasi adalah dengan mencampur dengan bahan tambah yang mampu merubah sifat-sifat tanah secara kimiawi. Abu sekam padi mengandung silika dan material pozzolan yang merupakan hasil dari pembakaran kulit padi yang umumnya hanya dibuang dan tidak dimanfaatkan. Tujuan dari pada penelitian ini adalah mengurangi sifat kembang susut dan menaikan daya dukung tanah. Perbaikan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mencampur stabilisasi dengan abu sekam padi 15%, 20% dan 25% dan lama pemeraman 3,7, dan14 hari. Penelitian dilakukan di laboratorium Mekanika Tanah ITATS,  meliputi analisa saringan, volumetri gravimetri, Atterberg limits, Standart Proctor Test dan California Bearing Ratio. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa penambahan abu sekam padi dan waktu pemeraman dapat menurunkan sifat kembang susut  serta menaikan daya dukung tanah berdasarkan nilai liquit limit, indeks plastisitan dan CBR. Setelah campuran 20% pemeraman 14 hari abu sekam padi dapat digunakan sebagai campuran stabilisasi tanah ekspansive, untuk   25%  dengan pemeraman 14 hari, nilai LL = 49,58%, IP = 16,52%  dan CBR =7,65%

Abstract

Madura Island has natural resource potential, one of which is the result of mining excavations, including class C. Bangkalan Regency has aggregates that could be used in concrete mixtures, including fine aggregate (sand) and coarse aggregate (gravel). The compressive strength of concrete using Bangkalan aggregate, on the other hand, is just 20 MPa, or the regular concrete category. High-quality concrete is one of the most frequently utilized building materials nowadays. Admixture is required to build high-strength concrete, particularly in Bangkalan Regency. In this research, a polymer admixture was used.The goal of this study was to determine the proportion of polymer additives used in the concrete mixture when fine aggregate from Lumajang, coarse aggregate 10/20 from Bangkalan, and coarse aggregate 5/10 from Pandaan were used to achieve a concrete compressive strength of 45 MPa.Based on the findings of research on the usage of polymer-type additives in concrete mixtures using fine aggregate from Lumajang, 10/20 coarse aggregate from Bangkalan, and 5/10 coarse aggregate from Pandaan, a concrete compressive strength of 0.95% Fc '45 Mpa was obtained from cement weight. At the design concrete quality of Fc '45 Mpa, the average compressive strength of concrete aged 28 days is 45.54 Mpa.

munity activities which are dominated by shops, offices and education activities and are directly adjacent to dense residential communities. The volume of vehicles passing through this road is quite dense, such as motorbikes, light vehicles and heavy vehicles, plus side obstacles that disrupt the smooth flow of traffic, especially during peak hours. The method used for this research is the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) method and the main indicator is the degree of saturation (DS). The results of the analysis show that the performance of the Taman - Sepanjang Highway sections (Highway Kalijaten Segment and Ngelom Segment) in existing conditions does not meet the 1997 MKJI feasibility standards. The degree of saturation value for highway Kalijaten is 1.00 and highway Ngelom is 0.87. So both roads need to improve road performance. The alternatives are widening the road, the saturation degree (DS), widening the road and removing side obstacles, become a one-way road. By implementing those alternative, Taman - Sepanjang Highway was expected to meet degree of saturation by MKJI standard.

Abstract

Madura merupakan salah satu pulau yang memiliki potensi material yang sangat besar. Namun dalam pembangunan infrastruktur jalan di beberapa wilayah di Pulau Madura masih menggunakan material dari Pulau Jawa. Perkerasan jalan merupakan prasarana yang sangat diperlukan bagi kegiatan sosial, ekonomi dan budaya. Salah satu perusahaan Industri di sekitar kota Surabaya terdapat pabrik peleburan baja salah satunyaPT. Hanil Jaya Steel menghasilkan limbah slag, pemanfaatan limbah slag sangat diperlukan guna meminimalisir terjadinya penumpukan yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan, dalam penelitian ini mencoba menggunakan limbah slag baja PT Hani Jaya Steel sebagai bahan pengganti kerikil yang berasal dari pulau Madura, kerikil dan pasir diambil daerah Bangkalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerikil asal Bangkalan dan slag terhadap karakteristik pada campuran beton aspal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu dengan suatu percobaan untuk mendapatkan hasil, dengan demikian akan terlihat pemanfaatan kerikil slag baja pada konstruksi beton aspal dengan variasi kadar slag 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% dan 50%. Untuk melakukan pemeriksaan agregat asal Madura maupun agregat slag serta aspal harus mengikuti prosedur sesuai dengan SNI. Hasil pemeriksaan dan analisis karakteristik campuran aspal beton dengan menggunakan variasi kadar kerikil slag baja menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kinerja campuran beton aspal. Dari hasil Stabilitas kadar aspal 6% mempunyai nilai paling tinggi, Durabilitas kadar aspal 5 % mempunyai nilai paling tinggi, Marshall quotient kadar aspal 5.5 % mempunyai nilai paling tinggi.

Abstract

Traffic is a system consisting of several key elements or a headway system. In the median plan, it also has a center opening or U-Turn, but the U-Turn facility does not completely solve these problems and conflicts because the turning vehicle itself does not completely solve them. This is the result of turning in the same direction as vehicles approaching or stopping in high and low-speed lanes. Some vehicles are unable to make smooth U-Turns, causing delays for both traffic directions or vice versa. This study aims to determine the traffic performance and performance of the U-Turn facility on Jl. Dr. Ir. Soekarno in the City of Surabaya using the MKJI methodology, 1997. From the results of this study, the peak hours for the south direction (A) are at 16.45-17.45, volume 3480. 6 vehicles per hour, DS (Degree of saturation)  0.73 with service level C, and south to north (B) at 16:45-17.45, volume 3394. 7 vehicles per hour DS 1.07 means the level of service indicates a long queue. The U-Turn movement has the highest volume at 16.45-17.45, with a volume of 656.8 pcu/hour and an intensity ratio greater than 1.0, indicating a vehicle queue.

Abstract

The Celep APILL four-legged intersection is one of the signalized intersections located in Sidoarjo City. Traffic congestion frequently occurs at this location due to excessive vehicle volumes and inefficient signal timing. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate and analyze the performance of the intersection in addressing existing traffic problems. A review is necessary since this intersection experiences high traffic intensity, making it a critical congestion point during peak hours. The objective of this research is to determine the degree of saturation at the intersection under existing conditions and after the implementation of alternative solutions. Data analysis was conducted using field-observed traffic volume data, and the evaluation method referred to the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (PKJI) 2023. Based on the calculations, the average degree of saturation under existing conditions exceeded 0.85, indicating noncompliance with PKJI 2023 standards and the need for corrective measures. The proposed solution involved modifying the signal phasing from the original three-phase configuration to a four-phase system. The results show that the degree of saturation for each approach became less than 0.85, indicating that the signal phasing modification meets the requirements of PKJI 2023

Abstract

The Wadungasri, Waru four-way intersection is one of Sidoarjo Regency's intersections located within a commercial and industrial area, serving as a connector between industrial zones and an alternative route to the toll road and the airport. A review to improve its performance is necessary due to the high traffic volume, especially during peak hours. This research aims to determine the traffic performance under existing conditions and provide alternative solutions to enhance its performance. The study was conducted over three days: two working days and one holiday. The analysis is based on the PKJI (Indonesian Road Capacity Manual) 2023 guidelines, and the results are simulated using PTV Vissim student 2022. The collected data includes intersection geometry, AADT (Average Annual Daily Traffic) data, and population data. The analysis results for the intersection under existing conditions showed a Degree of Saturation (DS) value of 0.89 in the morning and 0.97 in the afternoon. This indicates that the existing condition does not meet the PKJI 2023 requirements. An alternative solution, based on this problem, was implemented by changing the intersection into a signalized intersection (APILL) with three signal phases. The results after implementing the intersection modification showed a decrease in the DS value to 0.72 in the morning and 0.77 in the afternoon. With this change, the performance complies with the PKJI 2023 standard, which requires DS < 0.85.
