Abstract

Transformational leadership plays an important role in improving employee performance through four main components: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration. This study examines the effect of transformational leadership on employee motivation, engagement, and performance through a literature review that groups study into three main clusters: leadership components, impact on motivation and commitment, and impact on performance. The results of the study indicate that transformational leaders who are able to inspire and motivate employees will improve individual and team performance. However, the effectiveness of this leadership style is influenced by cultural factors and organizational structure. Therefore, further research with quantitative and qualitative approaches is needed to test the concept of a model that enlightens and enriches understanding of the context of transformational leadership implementation in various sectors and cultures.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven organizations to invest in employee competency development to face technological disruption and dynamic market demands. This study is a systematic literature observation analyzed using the SCISCAPE (Search, Cluster, Integrate, Critically Analyze, Synthesize, Present, Enhance Insight, Evaluate) approach. Literature from 2015–2024 was collected from academic databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect, with keywords such as employee competency development, digital skills enhancement, and digital transformation training. The findings show that training methods such as e-learning, microlearning, and gamification are the main trends in digital competency development. The study also highlights the positive impact of training on organizational performance, despite obstacles such as weakening technology and low ROI evaluation. Practical implications include the need for data-driven adaptive training design, as well as the development of a national digital competency framework. This study contributes to formulating HR strategies that are relevant to the digital era and opens up space for more measurable further research.

Abstract

The development of fintech has revolutionized financial management by driving operational efficiency and expanding financial inclusion in various regions. This article presents a structured literature review using the SCISCAPE method to analyze the role of fintech in the digital transformation of financial management. The study identifies positive trends in fintech adoption and its contribution to increasing access to financial services, but also reveals significant challenges such as low digital literacy, inadequate regulation, and data security risks. In addition, this article underlines the need for further research that focuses on fintech sustainability, ESG principle integration, and its social impact. The SCISCAPE approach has proven effective in providing a comprehensive and critical overview of fintech research developments, while opening new directions for future studies. These findings are expected to be a reference for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in developing an inclusive, safe, and sustainable fintech ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and explain the effect of providing entrepreneurship courses on students' interest in entrepreneurship. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Before the hypothesis test was carried out, a classical assumption test was carried out first. The analysis used simple linear regression, t-test hypothesis testing and determination coefficient analysis. From the results of data processing, a simple linear regression equation was obtained where: Y = 7.616 + 0.457 X + ei. The results of this study indicate that 1) There is an effect of providing entrepreneurship courses on students' interest in entrepreneurship, this is indicated by the calculated t value > t table (2.058 > 1.985); 2) There is a moderate relationship between providing entrepreneurship courses and students' interest in entrepreneurship because the correlation coefficient value is 0.479 which lies between 0.40 - 0.599; 3) The percentage contribution of the influence of the independent variable (providing entrepreneurship courses) to the dependent variable (students' interest in entrepreneurship) is 22.9%. Or the variation of independent variables used in the model (giving entrepreneurship courses) is able to explain 22.9% of the variation of the dependent variable (students' interest in entrepreneurship). While the remaining 77.1% is influenced or explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how operational efficiency is perceived to moderate the influence of cash flow and profit growth on the financial stability of companies, particularly in construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The approach used is qualitative, based on literature review and conceptual analysis. The results indicate that cash flow is considered a key indicator of business sustainability in the construction sector, while profit growth is understood as a signal of managerial success that requires critical examination. Operational efficiency, which encompasses cost control, project management, and technology utilization, plays a significant role in strengthening the positive impact of cash flow and profit on financial stability. However, contextual factors such as project delays, regulations, and material price fluctuations also influence the effectiveness of this relationship. This study emphasizes the importance of efficiency as an adaptive strategy in building long-term financial resilience in the dynamic and high-risk construction sector.

Abstract

Financial distress merupakan ancaman serius terhadap kelangsungan hidup perusahaan, terutama dalam lingkungan bisnis yang penuh ketidakpastian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh corporate governance dan leverage terhadap financial distress dengan mempertimbangkan profitabilitas sebagai variabel moderasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi literatur review, dengan menyeleksi artikel-artikel ilmiah dari database bereputasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme corporate governance yang efektif, terutama peran dewan komisaris dan komite audit mampu menurunkan kemungkinan financial distress. Sementara itu, leverage yang tinggi secara konsisten meningkatkan risiko distress, terutama pada perusahaan dengan tingkat profitabilitas rendah. Profitabilitas ditemukan memperkuat hubungan negatif antara tata kelola perusahaan dan financial distress, serta melemahkan dampak negatif leverage terhadap kesehatan keuangan perusahaan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa keseimbangan antara kualitas tata kelola, struktur modal yang sehat, dan profitabilitas yang kuat merupakan kunci dalam menurunkan risiko financial distress secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap harga saham, serta menganalisis peran ukuran perusahaan (firm size) sebagai variabel moderasi dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode literatur review, yaitu menelaah berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu baik dari jurnal nasional maupun internasional, serta literatur teoritis yang relevan. Indikator kinerja keuangan yang dianalisis dalam studi ini mencakup Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), sementara ukuran perusahaan diukur melalui total aset, pendapatan, atau kapitalisasi pasar. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Di antara indikator yang dianalisis, ROE merupakan variabel yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi harga saham, karena menunjukkan efisiensi perusahaan dalam menghasilkan laba dari ekuitas pemegang saham. ROA juga berpengaruh positif, meskipun tidak sekuat ROE, sedangkan DER cenderung memiliki pengaruh negatif karena mencerminkan tingginya tingkat utang perusahaan. Ukuran perusahaan terbukti memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap harga saham, di mana perusahaan dengan skala besar cenderung lebih stabil, transparan, dan dipercaya oleh investor. Selain itu, firm size juga memoderasi hubungan antara kinerja keuangan dan harga saham, memperkuat pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap reaksi pasar, terutama pada perusahaan dengan visibilitas yang tinggi. Namun, temuan moderasi tidak selalu konsisten, tergantung pada sektor industri dan konteks pasar. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi antara kinerja keuangan yang baik dan ukuran perusahaan yang besar dapat meningkatkan nilai saham di pasar modal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi akademisi dan panduan praktis bagi investor serta pengambil keputusan di pasar modal.

Abstract

This article aims to systematically review the academic literature on the influence of leadership style, compensation, and work-life balance on organizational performance within the context of Human Resource Management (HRM). Using a systematic literature review approach, the study analyzes empirical and conceptual findings from the past five years drawn from nationally accredited and internationally reputable journals. The results indicate that transformational and authentic leadership significantly enhance employee motivation and performance; fair and balanced compensation improves job satisfaction and loyalty; and effective work-life balance policies contribute to employee well-being and long-term productivity. These three variables interact and form a strategic HRM system that supports sustainable organizational effectiveness. The article also recommends further empirical research to examine causal relationships across various sectors and organizational contexts
