Abstract

The research that entitled “Analisis Beberapa Variabel yang Mempengaruhi Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan Makanan dan Minuman yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia” is a case study that aims to acknowledge and analyze whether there is influence of the size of companies, debt equity ratio (DER), the growth of profits, and sales of profitability. Then, it will also analyze the variables affecting the profitability of the company among size, debt equity ratio, the growth of profits, and sales. Sampling method used in this research is the purposive sampling method, consisting 14 sample food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. Using multiple regression analysis, t test, and F test in testing, both simultaneously and partially, and the elasticity test to find out which the independent variables having the greatest impact, it can be inferred that there is significance influence from debt to equity ratio (DER), the growth of profits, and sales of profitability. Next, the sale is the independent variable that has the greatest influence on profitability. Therefore, the company should pay more attention to the sales policy. The increased sales may be as consideration for investors to be able to invest in the company.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Koperasi Pengusaha Angkutan Kota (KOPATA) Purwokerto during 2007 to 2011. The objectives of this research were to know the financial performance of (KOPATA) Purwokerto during 2007 to 2011 and to know the tendency of financial performance of KOPATA Purwokerto during 2007 to 2011.The methods used in this research were financial performance analysis based on the decree of Minister of Cooperative, Small and Medium Business No.14/M.KUKM/XII/2009 consisting seven aspects such as Capital Structure, Asset Quality, Management, Efficiency, Liquidity, Independence and Growth, the Cooperative Identity and Trend Analysis.The result of this research showed that the average of financial performance scores of KOPATA Purwokerto during 2007 to 2011 was 58,10 located under the value 60 ≤ x ≤ 100, so it can be classified as “Unhealthy”. Then, the result was based on trend analysis calculation showed that its equation had negative slope (-0,125). It meant that the trend of financial performance tend to decrease or projected to fall.The implication of conclusion above was KOPATA Purwokerto should maximize its idle assets to optimize its profit for example, by expanding new business such as rental facilities and providing spar-parts needed by members. KOPATA Purwokerto should pay attention the application of 5C’s analysis such as Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Condition of Economic to minimize the risk and troubled loans/non performing loan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leverage (DER), liquidity (CR), profitability (ROE), firm growth (sales growth), firm size (Ln Total Asset), and dividend policy (DPR) on firm value (PBV) at manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2014 – 2017. The population in this study were 177 companies. The sample used in this study were 10 companies. Sample were taken by purposive sampling method. Data in this study were analyzed with multiple linear regression. The result showed that leverage (DER) has negative and significant on firm value (PBV), liquidity has no effect on firm value (PBV, profitability (ROE) has positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV), firm growth (sales growth) has positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV), firm size (Ln of total asset) has positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV), and dividend policy (DPR) has no effect on firm value (PBV).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in the performance of FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah (FBMS) in Malaysia and Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) in Indonesia by using Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen ratio. Type of this study is quantitative research by using hypothesis testing and purposive sampling technique. Population in this study is all sharia indices listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Bursa Malaysia (BM). From the sampling process obtained two indices. These indices are FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Syariah (FBMS) and Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Objects of this study are monthly index returns during the period of July 2012 to June 2012 which amounted to 60 data. Hypothesis testing is intended to determine whether there is significant difference between the performance of FBMS and ISSI on the measurement of Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen ratio. Test was conducted by using Two Independent Samples t-test. Results showed that there is no significant difference between the performance of FBMS and ISSI on the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen ratio. Implication of this study is that the results of this study can be used as a reference for companies in selecting which Islamic index prefer to issue the stock in based on the performance measured using Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen ratio. Results of this study also can be used as a reference for investors who are interested in investing funds in sharia stocks in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of profitability, tangible assets, company size, company growth, and company age toward capital structure in the raw material producing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2016. This study analyzed 17 Property and Real Estate sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in year 2013 - 2018 period. The analytical tools used are multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using t test calculations. The results showed that profitability, company size, company growth and company age had a positive effect on capital structure, while tangible assets did not have a significant effect on capital structure.
