Abstract

The purpose of this study was tooderermine (1) teacher activities innproblem based learning on trigonometric comparison material. (2) Student activities in problem-based learning on trigonometric comparison material. (3) Improvement of high-order thinking skills of class XI students on trigonometric comparison materials through problem-based learning mathematics. This study usess quantitative approach, the research design iss one group pretest-posttest design. Theepopulations and sample are alls class XI SMK PGRI 3 as many as 21 students. Thee sampling techniquee iss simple random sampling. Data analysis used t-test analysis. Based on the results the study, it was concluded thats: (1) Teacher activity in problem-based learning on trigonometric comparison material, in good category with an activity score of 75. (2) Student activity in problem-based learning on trigonometric comparison material, very category good with an activity score of 87.5. (3) There is ann increase in high-order thinking skill off class XI students in trigonometric comparisons through problem-based learning mathematics. This can be proven from t-count 10,542 t-table 2,086 with sig. (2-tailed) att aa significant level off , soo thats H0. is rejected and Ha. is accepted with thee result that thee pretest score of 58.67 increases in theeposttest value of 79.3. Abstract

This research is based on observation. Based on the observation, it was known that the students tend to feel bored in learning Mathematics. The research aim is to produce interactive learning media products using Microsoft Powerpoint based on android application on the material of a two-variable linear equation system. Moreover, the subjects of this study consisted of media experts, material experts, practitioners, and limited trials of 6 10th grade students. The researchers used research and development methods (R & D) to produce a product so that it was feasible to use. The data were obtained from the validation results of material experts, media experts, practicing experts, and limited trials. From the results of the validation carried out by researchers, each expert obtained results for material experts got a percentage of 88 percent categorized as very valid, and media experts got a percentage of 94 percent categorized as very valid. Furthermore, expert practitioners received a percentage of 95.5 percent which was categorized as very valid, and the results of a limited trial got a percentage of 82 percent which was categorized as valid. In addition, it can be concluded that the SolMath interactive learning media on the material of a two-variable linear equation system is feasible to use. Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapidly technological development that can be used in purpose of making a learning media more interesting and concise. One of the learning media development is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality become popular right now. By using Augmented Reality as an alternative learning media, it is hoped that a learning activity can be more interesting for students. The problem of this research is whether Augmented Reality-based mathematics learning media on flat-sided geometry with sub-materials of surface area and volume of flat-sided geometry attracts students? This research is using Research and Development (R&D) type. The result of this research is that the augmented reality-based mathematics learning media, named GEORANS, is very decent to be used in the learning process in schools, in accordance with the results of validation by five validators with successive percentages of 92.5 percent, 92.5 percent, 87.5 percent, 97.5 percent, 82.5 percent. As well as the average results of the questionnaire conducted by class VIII MTS NU Plosoharjo students obtained a percentage of 84.17 percent. The conclusion is that the learning media GEORANS is categorized as fascinating learning media to use at school. Keywords: Learning Media, Augmented Reality, Flat-sided Geometry

Abstract

Every student has a critical thinking process that varies in difficulty. Difference personality characteristics of students influence the thinking process in mathematical problem solving. This study aims to describe each student's critical thinking process based on Polya in terms of Hippocrates Galenus' personality types: choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic, and sanguine. Linear programming is one of the materials that must be critically thought in order to solve the problem. Researchers collected data twice before analyzing the data. The findings of this study show each student's thought process was unique. 1) The Perfect Melancholy Type at Work "need to finish what was started." This type tends to carry out additional clarification or carry out problem-solving plans coherently and clearly, 2) Strong Choleric Type at Work "looking for practical solutions." This type's problem-solving works on questions that seek the final answer without taking the necessary steps. 3) Workplace Peaceful Pleghmatic Type "take the easy way out." This type tends carry out further clarification or carry out a problem-solving plan in a coherent and clear manner, and 4) Popular Work Types "get off to a great start."
