Abstract

The data used in this research is secondary data and sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics obtained from 34 provinces in Indonesia. This study uses multiple linear regression Analysis of panel data using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this study indicate that: (1) the growth of the agricultural sector has a positive and significant effect on farmer exchange rates, meaning that every one percent increase in agricultural sector growth can increase farmer exchange rates in Indonesia; (2) Agricultural sector inflation has a positive and significant effect on farmer exchange rates, meaning that every one percent increase in agricultural sector inflation can increase farmer exchange rates in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of road infrastructure, electricity infrastructure, and drinking water infrastructure on the economic growth of Gorontalo Province. The type of data used in this research is secondary time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Gorontalo Province and other related literature. The data consist of annual observations from 2010 to 2024.The analytical methods used include descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis with a multiple regression model. The results show that road infrastructure has a positive but insignificant effect on the economic growth of Gorontalo Province. This means that road development can encourage economic growth, but its impact is not yet clearly visible or remains relatively weak. Electricity infrastructure has a negative but insignificant effect on economic growth, indicating that the availability of electricity has not yet provided a real impact on economic growth and appears less supportive, although its influence is not clearly reflected in increasing or decreasing the growth rate. Drinking water infrastructure has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Gorontalo Province. This means that the greater the expenditure on drinking water infrastructure, the lower the economic growth, and this effect is statistically proven and not coincidental.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) and the Family Hope Program (PKH) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Gorontalo Province from 2019 to 2024. Using a quantitative approach and panel data analysis, this research examines the contribution of both programs to the key dimensions of HDI—health, education, and economic welfare. The findings reveal that PKH has a positive and statistically significant effect on HDI, as reflected by a probability value of 0.000, which indicates strong significance. Meanwhile, PIP also shows a positive direction of influence, but it is not statistically significant. Overall, both programs contribute 97% to the variation in HDI in Gorontalo Province. These results highlight the essential role of government intervention in improving human development, although the effectiveness of PIP implementation still requires improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of government expenditure, wages, inflation, education, and unemployment on the economy and their impact on poverty in the Tomini Bay Region. The study uses panel data from 10 regencies/cities with secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The analytical method employed is a simultaneous equation model. The results show that government expenditure and education have a positive and significant effect on the economy. Wages have a negative and insignificant effect, while inflation and unemployment have a positive but insignificant effect on the economy. The economy has a positive and significant effect on poverty, indicating that economic growth has not yet been inclusive. Wages have a negative and significant effect on poverty, whereas inflation and unemployment have a negative but insignificant effect. These findings indicate that economic growth has not been fully capable of reducing poverty evenly, therefore policies focusing on equitable social welfare are needed.
