Abstract

Digital technology has become an integral part of adolescent life, providing seamless access to information and social interaction. However, their impact on their behavior and moral values is a serious concern, especially in the context of education. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasing negative behaviors, such as cyberbullying and reduced empathy, the attitude of togetherness, tolerance, and helping others, which is influenced by excessive use of social media. Regarding the above problems, based on the review literature, it is known that there is still a lack of holistic studies that integrate the influence of digital technology on adolescent morality with relevant moral education strategies in schools. The method used qualitatively with a literature review approach aims to analyze, synthesize, and assess relevant studies or literature to gain an in-depth understanding of the influence of digital technology on adolescent morality with relevant moral education strategies in schools. The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence of digital technology on the transformation of adolescent behavior and evaluate the challenges faced by moral education in shaping better adolescent character. The results of this research are expected to make a practical contribution in formulating more effective moral education strategies in schools, as well as providing recommendations for parents and educators in directing the wise use of digital technology.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is oriented towards forming students who have an Islamic personality and are devoted to Allah SWT, therefore Islamic Religious Education facilitates students to learn and actualize all their physical and spiritual potential. The learning in the independent curriculum is carried out flexibly so that students and educators can be independent, where educators can adapt the materials, methods and learning strategies to the needs of students and school characteristics. This learning is carried out with Intracurricular learning and also Co-curricular learning. In implementing PAI learning in the independent curriculum, there are two duties of PAI Teachers, namely PAI Teachers who teach PAI lessons in intracurricular learning and PAI Teachers as accompanying teachers in project-based co-curricular learning. This research aims to analyze the application of PAI learning in the Independent Curriculum

Abstract

Improving emotional regulation skills in elementary school students is an essential need to support their social-emotional development and academic success. However, many students are still unable to identify, understand, and express their emotions appropriately. This community service activity aims to help elementary school students manage their emotions through the creation and use of “Islamic Emotion Cards.” This learning medium is designed by integrating Islamic values, illustrations of emotional expressions, and examples of behaviors aligned with religious teachings. The implementation method includes needs observation, card design, expert validation, and trials with students. The activities were carried out using an educational and participatory approach, giving students the opportunity to learn about different types of emotions, practice ways to manage them, and connect them with Islamic moral values. The results show that the “Islamic Emotion Cards” are effective in increasing students’ understanding of various emotions and encouraging them to express and control their emotions in more positive ways. Teachers also reported that the cards are easy to use in teaching and help create a more conducive classroom atmosphere. Thus, this medium can serve as an alternative educational solution for schools in developing students’ emotional regulation based on Islamic values.
