Abstract

According to the 2019 OECD survey, Indonesia ranked 62 out of 70 countries in terms of literacy levels. The purpose of the community service is to provide motivation, knowledge, and skills to participants in the field of scientific writing. A web seminar for scientific writing training, which held online on November 13, 2021 and attended by 384 people, used as program method. According to the feedback, the implementation of the webinar training for scientific writing, 92.2% of participants said they were motivated to write scientific papers, and 96% said they could write scientific papers properly and correctly.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh para investor aset cryptocurrency agar mendapatkan tingkat return yang optimal. Pendekatan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif library research. Sumber data yang dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang berasal dari artikel, buku, dan surat kabar dari media elektronik dengan kata kunci pencarian: cara berinvestasi crypto, teknik berinvestasi crypto dan strategi berinvestasi crypto. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software NVivo 10 Plus. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan beberapa strategi berinvestasi pada aset cryptocurrency yaitu: menentukan tipe dan tujuan investasi, mempelajari aset cryptocurrency yang diminati, memilih aset cryptocurrency yang terpercaya, memilih exchange dan wallet yang aman, memperhatikan biaya layanan dan spread, jangan fears of missing out (FOMO), membeli pada saat harga rendah (support) dan jual ketika harga tinggi (resistance), melakukan diversifikasi dan migitasi risiko, berinvestasi di berbagai platform, tidak mudah panik dan berorientasi pada hold on for dear life (HODL), senantiasa mengikuti informasi perkembangan cryptocurrency, mengikuti dan bergabung pada komunitas cryptocurrency, dan rutin melakukan dollar-cost averaging (DCA).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on work motivation in the view of the new public management. This study uses a quantitative paradigm and uses a saturated sample technique, with a total sample of fourteen employees. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire which was then analyzed using frequency analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The study results show that transformational leadership positively and significantly affects employee motivation. Work motivation possessed by employees can fulfill what is expected in the view of the new public management, including fast and adaptive service to change. In conclusion, there is a significant influence between transformational leadership and work motivation in the view of the new public management. Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work-life balance on the employees’ job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in the banking industry. There's a total of 142 questionnaires collected from branch offices and 13 BRI unit offices in Malang. The demographic features were briefly discussed in terms of frequency and percentage. For the analysis of data, descriptive and inferential statistics have been used. Structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used for inferential statistics to measure the degree between independent variables and the dependent variables. The results of this study clearly demonstrate that work-life balance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment have a negative impact on the turnover intention. Work-life balance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment have an important relationship in minimizing the turnover intention among the employees in the organization.

Abstract

Human trafficking atau perdagangan manusia merupakan salah satu bentuk kejahatan kemanusiaan yang terus meningkat, khususnya di daerah perbatasan seperti Kabupaten Belu, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Masyarakat Desa Lakanmau sebagai salah satu wilayah yang rentan terhadap praktik perdagangan manusia perlu mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai bahaya serta dampaknya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi mengenai bahaya dan dampak human trafficking kepada masyarakat Desa Lakanmau, dengan fokus pada pencegahan, penanganan, serta perlindungan terhadap korban. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, sosialisasi ini melibatkan berbagai elemen masyarakat, termasuk tokoh masyarakat, pemuda, dan pemerintah desa, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kewaspadaan dan upaya pencegahan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis masyarakat terhadap ancaman human trafficking serta memperkuat upaya pencegahan di tingkat lokal. Sosialisasi ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan bekal bagi masyarakat dalam mengenali tanda-tanda perdagangan manusia serta memperkuat sinergi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mencegah kejahatan ini.

Abstract

Performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kupang Regency did not reach the target. Employee performance control by organizational leadership and communication. This research aims to assess the effect of leadership and organizational communication on employee performance. This research uses explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The population at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kupang Regency is 33 employees. The sampling in this research used the saturated sample technique. The data collection method used is a questionnaire by distributing directly to the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kupang Regency. The data acquired is then analyzed quantitatively using multiple linear regression analysis. The consequences of this research indicate that leadership and organizational communication have a simultaneous positive and significant effect on employee performance. Other results show that leadership and organizational communication have positive and significant effects on employee performance partially. Leadership and organizational communication in organization need to develop to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the influence of employee competence on service quality. The population in this study is the community that has been served. The sample technique used in this study was non-probability sampling. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The respondents in this study were 96 people. The data collection used is a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely frequency analysis and simple linear regression in inferential analysis. The results showed that employee competence has a positive and significant effect on service quality, where the better the competence of employees, the higher the quality of service provided, so that the satisfaction felt by the community is determined by the extent to which the quality of service is provided. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the public service performance of the TTU Regency Regional Drinking Water Company (Perumnda). This research uses qualitative research methods with observation and interview methods. From the research findings, it was found that environmental quality greatly influences the quality of service provided. Environmental quality conditions related to demographics hurt the continuity of water that can be distributed and give rise to various complaints from the public. However, on the other hand, Perumnda Drinking Water District TTU continues to promote efforts to improve the quality of service results by increasing the number of customers by improving the quality of interactions through acceleration, accuracy, and transparency. The conclusion is that the performance of the public services of the TTU Regency Regional Drinking Water Company is greatly influenced by the environmental quality of the North Central Timor Regency.. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja karyawan. Tipe Penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi karyawan BPR Profidana Paramitra berjumlah 34 orang dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% maka didapat jumlah sampel sebanyak 31 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung di kantor pusat BPR Profidana Paramitra Yogyakarta. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan BPR Profidana Paramitra.

Abstract

Public services provided by local governments are essential administrative functions, with the government serving as the sole provider. Consequently, the public’s reliance on these services underscores the importance of maintaining high levels of employee performance. Employee performance is influenced by various organizational and individual factors, particularly work culture, work environment, and work discipline. This study investigates the extent to which these three factors affect employee performance. A quantitative research design was employed, targeting a population of 43 employees. The study used a probability sampling technique, specifically simple random sampling, to select a sample of 38 respondents. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Descriptive statistics, including frequency analysis, were used to determine the mean scores for each item. Inferential analysis applied multiple linear regression to examine the effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicated a positive association between work culture and employee performance; however, the effect of work culture was not statistically significant, with a t-value of 0.246 exceeding the 0.05 significance threshold. In contrast, both the work environment and work discipline had statistically significant and positive effects on employee performance when examined independently. Furthermore, a combined analysis of work culture, work environment, and work discipline revealed a significant joint influence on employee performance, as reflected by an F-value of 30.078 and a p-value below 0.05. In conclusion, while work culture alone may not significantly enhance performance, the collective influence of work culture, work environment, and work discipline is critical in improving employee outcomes. These findings suggest that organizations should prioritize these factors to optimize employee performance and achieve broader organizational objectives.
