Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was intended to find out the correlation of the tend to permissiveness parenting, self-confidence, and achievement motivation. The subjects were 61 students of VII Class of Junior High School. This research used quantitative method. Data were collected through Achievement Motivation Scale, Scale of Tend to Permissiveness Parenting Style Perception, and Scale of Self-Confidence. Regression analysis and partial correlation were used as analysis techniques.The results showed that there was correlation between tend to permissiveness parenting style and self-confidence to achievement motivation with R value =. 0,588, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). The contribution from two variables to achievement motivation were 34,5 %. The partial correlation showed that there was a negative correlation between permissiveness parenting with achievement motivation and a positive correlation between self-confidence with achievement motivation on students. This research was concluded that there is a very significant correlation between the tend to permissiveness parenting, self-confidence, and achievement motivation on students.Keywords: achievement motivation, self-confidence, tend to permissiveness parenting,

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the deaf student readiness who took inclusive education to learn and to know the condition that supports and hampers it. This research used quantitative method by case approach. The data were collected by interview and documentation study. Content analysis was conducted to analyze the data.  According to the result of the research, it can be concluded that both of the subjects could be said ready for the exam at inclusive school. The supportive factors of the deaf students readiness are parents’ attention giving, cooperative teachers and friends’ help while the inhibiting factors that hamper their readinessare more to the technical problems such as lack of literacy ability that cause difficulties in understanding the lesson. Keywords : deaf, inclusive education, study readiness

Abstract

The basis of this study was to determine the relationship between internal locus of control and social support with students' academic procrastination in completing their thesis. This study is using correlational sampling technique and the research samples taken from quota sampling technique are 80 college students who are in the process of completing the thesis. The measuring instrument is the Academic Procrastination Scale in completing the thesis, Internal Locus of Control Scale and Social Support Scale. The regression analysis result that there is a very significant correlation between internal locus of control and social support with academic procrastination of the students in completing the thesis. Further analysis showed that there is a very significant negative correlation between internal locus of control with academic procrastination. This means that the lower level of internal locus of control, the higher level of academic procrastination in completing a thesis, and vice versa. Likewise, there is a very significant negative correlation between social support and academic procrastination in completing a thesis. This result means that the lower level of social support, the higher level of academic procrastination in completing a thesis, and vice versa.

Abstract

In support of developing a parenting program for young couples, this study conducted to determine whether and how significantly the module was affects parenting practice among young couples in a small groups. Data were collected through experimental research. The subjects of this research were young couples with requirements as follows: have children whose age is maximum five years old, graduated from high schools, able to communicate fluently, and are willing to attend all interventions and are not joining any similar training. The subjects were 26 parents who are domiciled in the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia and recruited through social media. The data analysis technique was a paired sample t-test. The result indicated -6.299 value t and value p=0.000 or (p less than 0.01). It showed a significant development of parenting comprehension before and after training (mean pretest is about 62.13 and mean post-test is about 78.26). This parenting program module needs to be tested in the wider population to form into final results.

Abstract

Kesulitan membaca adalah salah satu bentuk kesulitan belajar yang dikenali padasaat siswa duduk di sekolah dasar. Salah satu gangguan kesulitan membaca dikenal denganistilah dyslexia. Disleksia ditunjukkan dengan adanya kesulitan dalam kemampuanpenguasaan dan pemrosesan bahasa, termasuk di dalamnya proses fonologi (mempelajaribunyi), dalam membaca, menulis, dan mengeja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihatpengaruh dari pembelajaran dengan metode fonemik motorik terhadap kemampuan membacapada anak dengan gangguan disleksia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang anak usia11 tahun dengan inteligensi 118 (Skala Weschler, kategori pandai) yang mengalami gangguandisleksia visual. Target pelatihan adalah subjek mampu mengidentifikasi huruf dengan fonemyang benar serta mampu membaca suku kata. Analisis data dengan membandingkan hasilpretest dan posttest subjek. Metode observasi dan wawancara juga diterapkan untukmenyusun dinamika psikologis subjek. Hasilnya metode ini belum dapat meningkatkankemampuan membaca subjek secara optimal. Beberapa kemajuan yang ditunjukkan subjeksetelah pelatihan antara lain subjek lebih peka dalam mengidentifikasi huruf sertameningkatnya minat untuk terus belajar membaca. Salah satu faktor penting dalam metodepelatihan membaca untuk anak disleksia adalah adanya pengulangan secara kontinyu. Olehkarena itu saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah menambahkan tugas rumah dalamrangkaian pelatihan sebagai upaya pengulangan membaca di rumah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai hubungan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP sebanyak 61 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Motivasi Berprestasi, Skala Persepsi Kecenderungan Pola Asuh Permisif dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri. Analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik analisis uji-t yaitu regresi ganda dan korelasi parsial. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian yaitu adanya hubungan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi diterima dengan nilai R = 0,588, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Sumbangan yang diberikan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi sebanyak 34,5%. Hasil korelasi parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dengan motivasi berprestasi dan terdapat hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara kecenderungan pola asuh permisif dan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dinamika dan faktor-faktor self-efficacy guru kelas dalam membimbing siswa slow learner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi (content analysis) serta menggunakan triangulasi sumber dalam uji kredibilitas penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Subjek I memiliki keyakinan dalam membimbing siswa slow learner. Subjek I memiliki banyak ide dan inovasi dalam mengatasi kelambanan siswa slow learner. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi self-efficacy Subjek I adalah pengalaman keberhasilan terdahulu, pengalaman orang lain, persuasi verbal, kondisi fisik dan afeksi, serta faktor berupa kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Untuk Subjek II, ditemukan bahwa subjek memiliki rasa pesimis dalam menghadapi siswa slow learner. Subjek II merasa kesulitan ketika menghadapi siswa slow learner, sehingga tidak banyak cara yang dilakukannya dalam menghadapi siswa slow learner. Faktor yang mempengaruhi self-efficacy Subjek II hampir sama dengan Subjek I yakni self-efficacy subjek dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman keberhasilan terdahulu, pengalaman orang lain, persuasi verbal dan kondisi fisik dan afeksi. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah atmosfer sekolah yang ternyata memberikan spirit yang berbeda bagi kedua subjek.Kata Kunci: guru kelas, self-efficacy, slow learnerAbstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics and factors of classroom teacher’s self-efficacy in guiding slow learner students. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods with case study approach. Method of data collection conducted by interview. Analysis approach used in this research is content analysis and using triangulation in research credibility test. Based on the research, the first subject has efficacy in guiding slow learner students. The subject has a lot of ideas and innovations in overcoming inaction slow learner students. While the factors was influence subject was namely enactive mastery experience, vicarious experience, verbal persuasion and physiological and affective states, and factors such as environmental conditions. For the second subject, it was found that the subject has a sense of pessimism in guiding of slow learner students. Subject find difficulties when she guiding slow learner students, so there isn’t a lot of ways that subject do in the guiding of slow learner students. Factors that influence self-efficacy of the second subject is influenced by four factors namely enactive mastery experience, vicarious experience, verbal persuasion and physiological and affective states. The conclusion from this study is that there are differences in self-efficacy of teachers in the face of slow learner students. Differences between subject I and subject II lies in the school atmosphere that gives a different spirit to the second subject.Keywords: classroom’s teacher, self-efficacy, slow learner

Abstract

Perilaku interaksi pornografi melalui internet dapat ditunjukkan melalui intensitas seseorang dalam mengakses situs/media dengan konten pornografi. Dampak dari seringnya individu mengakses pornografi sudah terasakan baik dalam hal perilaku secara individu maupun sosial. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas Modul Pelatihan Kontrol Diri yang dirancang oleh peneliti untuk mengurangi intensitas mengakses situs/media internet yang mengandung konten pornografi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas VII SMP ‘Y’ di Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan one group pretest post test design. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Skala Intensitas Akses Pornografi. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah Pelatihan Kontrol Diri dapat mengurangi intensitas akses dengan situs/media yang mengandung unsur pornografi pada remaja. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,01), mean pretest sebesar 56,00 dan mean posttest sebesar 39,11. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah Pelatihan Kontrol Diri efektif untuk mengurangi intensitas akses dengan media/situs internet yang mengandung unsur pornografi pada remaja.

Abstract

Abstract. Gifted child is a golden asset for a nation, yet the truth is not all of the gifted child can get access to quality education that would be in line with their needs. The purpose of this study was to get the description of schools that have provided services for gifted children in Indonesia with an overview of schools abroad that have similar conditions/cultures and communities to Indonesia, namely Malaysia. Qualitative method with case study were inducted in this research. Data was collected by interview, observation, and study of documentation. The research subjects were two distinctive schools for gifted; one in Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia, and the other one in Malaysia. The result showed that the two schools shared a same goals, both schools use a national curriculum with an additional curriculum in accordance with the school's vision and mission. The two schools have different implementation and process, reveal different qualities. The implementation and process of schools in Malaysia are planned conceptually, with more professional management, leading better quality and measurable amount of international scale achievements. Abstrak. Kecerdasan istimewa pada anak-anak gifted merupakan aset berharga bagi negara, namun pada kenyataannya tidak semua anak gifted mendapatkan pelayanan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang sekolah yang telah memberikan layanan bagi anak gifted baik di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri yang memiliki kondisi yang mirip dengan Indonesia, yaitu Malaysia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah dua sekolah khusus anak gifted, yang ada di Indonesia dan Malaysia. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kedua sekolah memiliki tujuan yang sama, menggunakan kurikulum nasional disertai kurikulum tambahan sesuai dengan visi-misi sekolah. Dalam penyelenggaraan dan prosesnya, kedua sekolah memiliki kualitas yang berbeda. Penyelenggaraan dan proses sekolah yang ada di Malaysia, lebih terencana secara konsep, lebih profesional, dan hasilnya lebih terukur dengan prestasi yang sudah berskala internasional.
