Abstract

As a profession, guidance and counseling have a supervision procedure in order to maintain and evaluate purpose to make evaluatif decision in guidance and counseling service. A supervision it self not only about process and result of counseling service, but also an asessment using psychological test, this asessment was useful for complete an inforrmation about psychological competence and individual difference of student. This result of psychological tes will benefit for counselor and also for student to understand and clarification about decision making in counseling service and placement for student according their expertise. A phenomena in Indonesia about counseling profession has been found that was lack of supervision process in guidance and counseling service and also lack of interest about psychology test in school, there are, it’s just to preserve an administration and formality. Phenomena in that practical way maybe can be assumed that because there is lack of information about the ideal of supervision process and also lack of experience and knowledge also untrained a supervisor and counselor about their own abilities. In this case, this paper will describe how should be a supervision be conducted, and the result of this evaluaton study show that with psychological test for student has a significant satisfaction almost 74% with their placement in first grade at senior high school.

Abstract

Abstract: Setiap manusia diciptakan dengan kelebihan dan kekurangan pada dirinya sendiri, begitu juga secara fisik ada manusia yang diciptakan dengan kondisi fisik yang lengkap dan ada juga manusia yang mendapatkan cobaan berupa kekurangan fisik. Cacat fisik juga sering disebut sebagai disabilitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran kebersyukuran pada penyandang disabilitas fisik dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dilakukan pada 6 subjek tunadaksa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan purposive sample. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keenam subjek memiliki rasa syukur dalam hidupnya. Bersyukur dengan hati, perkataan, dan perbuatan. Syukur dengan hati dilakukan dengan selalu menyadari, mengingat dan menghadirkan dalam hati bahwa setiap nikmat yang dirasakan adalah dari Allah. Syukur secara lisan, yaitu dengan mengucapkan puji-pujian kepada Tuhan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur. Sedangkan mensyukuri dengan perbuatan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan semua nikmat ini untuk membantu diri sendiri dalam mentaati Allah. Faktor yang mempengaruhi rasa syukur adalah suka cita, kemudian memandang orang yang lebih rendah, dengan melihat hal tersebut dapat mensyukuri nikmat yang telah diberikan dan orang-orang terdekatnya.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the phenomenon of attitudes of teachers towards learners. The sample this research is 314 students of Senior High School Malang City (SMAN Malang). This research use design ex-pos-facto. Data collected instruments attitudes of teachers towards learners valid and reliable. Results of the study, according to empirical findings teacher perceptions of learners have support learning, it is illustrated by the attitude: (1) teachers matter in the learning process and has shown kindness; (2) the teacher has a good share of responsibility; (3) a teacher sensitive to accept the diversity of learners; (4) the teacher can improve instruction in learning; and (5) the teacher has been able to pushing with both the creativity of learners. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena sikap guru terhadap peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 314 siswa SMAN Kota Malang. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian ex-pos-facto. Data dikumpul dengan instrumen sikap guru terhadap peserta didik valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian, temuan empiris guru menurut persepsi peserta didik telah mendukung proses belajar, hal ini tergambar dari sikap: (1) guru peduli dalam proses belajar dan menunjukkan kebaikan; (2) guru telah berbagi tanggung jawab dengan baik; (3) guru sensitif menerima keragaman peserta didik; (4) guru dapat meningkatkan instruksi dalam belajar; dan (5) guru telah dapat mendorong dengan baik kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: The results showed that the structural model has a decent (GFI = 0.930, AGFI = 0.908 > 0.90; CFI = 0.990, TLI = 0.988 > 0.95, and RMSEA = 0.029 < 0.08) and obtain the support of empirical data (X2 = 169.029 and p = 0.068 > 0.05). Factors parents attitudes toward children, the attitude of teachers toward students, and self-regulated learning influence on student achievement. Parents’ attitudes toward children, the attitude of teachers towards students direct effect on self-regulated learning and indirect effect on student achievement through self-regulated learning. These findings support the social cognitive theory.Abstrak: Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa model struktural layak (GFI = 0,930, AGFI = 0,908 > 0,90; CFI = 0,990, TLI = 0,988 > 0,95; dan RMSEA = 0,029 < 0,08) dan memperoleh dukungan data empiris (X2 = 169,029 dan p = 0,068 > 0,05). Faktor sikap orangtua terhadap anak, sikap guru terhadap peserta didik, dan self-regulated learning berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik. Sikap orangtua terhadap anak, sikap guru terhadap peserta didik, berpengaruh langsung terhadap self-regulated learning dan berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik melalui self-regulated learning. Temuan ini mendukung teori kognitif sosial.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the model of the influence of authoritarian parenting, extraversion personality, and conformity to bullying in students. The population in this study were all students of grade eight of X, Y, Z state middle school in Yogyakarta, consisting of 524 students. The sample in this study was 185 students. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling. The data were collected with the scales which were developed for each variable studied. Data analysis was performed by testing the outer and inner models using structural equation model (SEM) through the Smart Partial Least Square 3.2.8 program. The results of this study were the formation of the model of the influence of authoritarian parenting, extraversion personality, and conformity to bullying that was found to be fit with empirical data. Overall, the findings suggested that all variables under investigation (authoritarian parenting, extraversion personality, and conformity) had positive and a very significant influence on bullying. This model can be used as a valid reference in developing bullying variables.

Abstract

Teenagers who experience a broken home feel the psychological burden due to the divorce of their parents. There are many cases of broken homes and causes of various problems. Problems can be overcome by fostering psychological well-being. This study aims to reveal the description of psychological well-being and the factors that influence the psychological well-being of adolescent girls from broken homes in Tana Toraja. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique is snowball/chain sampling. The sample is 5 people. The characteristics of the sample are young ladies at 12-23 years, domiciled in Tana Toraja and have been in a broken home for the last 10 years. In-depth interviews and observation methods are data collection methods in this study. The phenomenon obtained is that adolescents experience disappointment with parental figures, need for affection, and open attitude to trusted/closest people, resilience, optimism, and personal growth. Factors that affect the level of psychological well-being are the existence of good social support, age and high motivation to continue to develop their potential. Adolescents from broken homes are associated with negative stigma, but they are able to present themselves positively and better. The results of this study can be implicated in adolescents to become more independent individuals, think rationally, have good relationships with others, be able to develop themselves well, have hope and feel spiritual calm. Remaja yang mengalami broken home merasakan beban psikologis akibat perceraian kedua orang tua. Kasus broken home sangat banyak dan menimbulkan berbagai problematika. Problematika dapat diatasi dengan menumbuhkan kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan gambaran psychological well-being dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi psychological well-being remaja perempuan dari keluarga broken home di Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah snowball/chain sampling. Sampelnya sebanyak 5 orang. Karakteristik sampelnya adalah perempuan, usia 12-23 tahun, berdomisili di Tana Toraja dan berada dalam kondisi broken home selama 10 tahun terakhir. Metode indepth interview dan observasi menjadi metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Fenomena yang didapatkan adalah remaja mengalami kekecewaan terhadap figur orang tua, kebutuhan kasih sayang, sikap terbuka kepada orang-orang terpercaya/terdekat, resiliensi, optimis, dan pertumbuhan pribadi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat psychological well-being adalah adanya dukungan sosial yang baik, faktor usia dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk terus mengembangkan potensinya. Remaja broken home dikaitkan dengan stigma negatif namun kenyataannya ia mampu menampilkan diri yang positif dan lebih baik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan pada remaja untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih mandiri, berpikir secara rasional, memiliki hubungan baik dengan orang lain, mampu mengembangkan dirinya dengan baik, memiliki harapan dan merasakan ketenangan spiritual.

Abstract

Learning should provide a pleasant atmosphere for students to fulfill their curiosity. A comfortable atmosphere will bring up student welfare (school well-being). This study aims to determine the influence of academic stress and adversity intelligence on school well-being in Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin Junior High School students while studying from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method researchers use in data collection is a quantitative approach and data collection with a scale or questionnaire and is carried out in June–October 2021. Respondents in this study are junior high school students aged 12-15 years. The number of respondents in this study was 253 students at SMP Muhammadiyah Al Mujahidin. Data collection in this study was conducted using Google Form. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling. The instrument used is the academic stress scale, adversity intelligence scale, and scale of school well-being. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Results of addressing a major hypothesis there is a highly significant association of academic stress and adversity intelligence to the well-being of school students of SMP Muhammadiyah AlMujahideen while studying from home to the pandemic covid 19.

Abstract

The Implications of Behavioristic Theory in Learning Activities in Educational InstitutionsBehavioristic learning theory is a learning theory that is widely applied in the learning process in Indonesia. In this theory, the change in behavior shown by students is the main indicator as a result of stimuli and responses. Students who are able to show a response in the form of behavior change are successes in the learning process. Behavioristic learning theory has a main characteristic, namely the teacher is authoritarian who acts as a controller, while students are passive and depend on the stimulus provided by teacher. The aim of applying behavioristic learning theory is so that student behavior changes as a form of response to a better direction. According to this theory, changes in behavior as a desired response will be stronger if reinforcement is given. Likewise, the unwanted response will disappear when given a punishment. This article describes the concept of behavioristic learning theory and its applications and implications in education. Behavioristic learning theory is believed to be able to bring out good behavior in students.

Abstract

Siswa SMA adalah kalangan remaja yang mendapat tuntutan sekaligus tantangan di dunia pendidikan untuk mencapai prestasi. Selain itu, siswa SMA memiliki kontribusi dalam peningkatan kualitas SDM di usia produktif. Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perspektif Islam mengenai motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMA. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur, yaitu berupa penelaahan empat belas jurnal utama dan beberapa literatur pelengkap terkait motivasi berprestasi dalam perspektif Islam. Hasil studi literatur meyimpulkan bahwa siswa SMA memerlukan motivasi berprestasi, dan dalam perspektif psikologi Islam motivasi berprestasi seiring dengan keimanan dan ketakwaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi keimanan dan ketakwaan yang dimiliki siswa SMA, maka akan semakin tinggi pula motivasi berprestasi yang dimilikinya.

Abstract

Belajar merupakan proses internalisasi ilmu pengetahuan dan pengalaman individu dengan hasil pada perubahan perilaku atau ketrampilan. Salah satu tugas seorang pendidik adalah melakukan penilaian terhadap siswa untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Penilaian tersebut dapat berupa angka, huruf atau kata-kata yang lebih umum disebut dengan prestasi belajar. Banyak penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan intelektual bukanlah menjadi prediktor utama prestasi belajar, namun keberadaannya masih memiliki pengaruh. Faktor kecerdasan intelektual seseorang masih diyakini mempunyai andil dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Pada penelitian ini, tujuan penelitian adalah ingin melakukan pengujian secara empiris terkait dengan pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.  Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 40 siswa kelas XI dengan peminatan MIPA yang telah diperoleh dengan teknik sampel acak. Analisis data dengan metode regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan intelektual berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan pada capaian prestasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2), kecerdasan intelektual diprediksikan berkontribusi sebesar 29,4% terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan intelektual memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa-siswi kelas XI peminatan MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta.
