Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the character development of elementary school students through training in creating digital applications using the Thunkable platform. In the midst of the digital era and the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, character education is an essential aspect that must be instilled from an early age, alongside cognitive competence. Elementary schools, as the foundation of education, play a strategic role in shaping children’s personalities, including embedding positive character values. This activity was conducted at SD Moria in Sorong City and involved 24 students from grades 5 and 6, selected based on their interest and readiness. The training used a Project-Based Learning approach, where students were actively engaged in creating simple application projects. Throughout the process, students not only learned basic programming skills using Thunkable but also developed key values such as teamwork, responsibility, independence, creativity, and curiosity. Despite facing challenges such as limited devices and internet access, the students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm. Thunkable proved to be an effective tool for interactive and enjoyable learning. Students were able to directly develop their creative ideas through designing user interfaces and application functions. This provided a meaningful learning experience that motivated students to continue exploring and trying new things. The activity showed that technology-based learning can serve as a strategic means to holistically shape students' character. Overall, this initiative demonstrated that digital application development training can serve as a character education model based on technology that is highly relevant for elementary education. This program is expected to serve as an educational innovation example that encourages the integration of digital literacy and character education in Indonesian elementary schools.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital era demands inclusive, creative, and relevant learning innovations in line with technological developments. To address these challenges, utilizing digital platforms is a strategic step in driving the digitalization of education. One innovative solution that is becoming widely used is no-code platforms like Thunkable, which enable users, including students, to create applications without having to master complex programming. This article reviews the results of a community service activity conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sorong City, focusing on improving digital literacy and strengthening 21st-century skills through training in creating educational applications based on Thunkable. This activity utilized experiential learning and project-based learning approaches, implemented through hands-on training, interactive demonstrations, independent practice, and participatory evaluation. This training not only targeted students as the primary participants but also involved teachers as facilitators who accompanied the learning process and encouraged the application of training outcomes in classroom activities. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in student enthusiasm, critical thinking skills, and creativity in designing simple educational applications tailored to learning needs and local contexts. Despite obstacles such as limited digital devices and uneven internet access, this activity still succeeded in creating an innovative and transformative learning space. Furthermore, this training makes a significant contribution to supporting the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the areas of digital literacy, independence, mutual cooperation, and creativity. It also serves as an effective means to instill the value of digital responsibility and foster a learning culture that is adaptive to technological change. The success of this program demonstrates that a simple yet applicable technology-based approach like Thunkable can be replicated in other schools, particularly in the 3T (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost) regions, with the support of structured and collaborative training.

Abstract

Gadget adalah alat canggih yang dibuat dan diciptakan dengan menambahkan aplikasi untuk media berita, hobi, hiburan, jejaring sosial, dan lainnya. Penggunaan gadget memberikan dampak positif dan negatif bagi penggunanya, khususnya kalangan muda. Dampak negatif yang diperoleh dari penggunaan gadget, salah satunya adalah membuat pengguna menjadi orang yang individualis dan dapat mengakses informasi – informasi bersifat bullying. Perilaku bullying dapat terjadi dalam berbagai kategori termasuk secara fisik, verbal, psikologis, dan cyber. Perilaku bullying memiliki kemungkinan dapat terjadi bagi siapapun, misalnya siswa di sekolah. Perilaku bullying yang sering terjadi pada lingkungan sekolah seperti adanya siswa yang mengejek, memukul, memfitnah, dan sebagainya. Hasil penelitian yaitu 1. Siswa dapat menggunakan gadget 2.Terdapat dampak positif maupun negatif dalam penggunaan gadget. 3. Terdapat perilaku bullying secara verbal maupun non verbal. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk dapat memberikan pemahaman terkait penggunaan gadget yang benar dan menghilangkan perilaku bullying di sekolah.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the numeralia of the Raja Ampat language of the Wardo dialect in Arefi village, Raja Ampat district. This research aims to identify the forms of numeralia and types of numeralia in the Wardo dialect in Raja Ampat district. This research is in the form of qualitative research. The subject in this research is the researcher himself and the data source in this research comes from sources who are native speakers of the Wardo dialect. The data collection techniques in this research are free-involved listening, interview techniques, note-taking and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The numeralia results obtained in this research are based on the types of numeralia, namely; definite basic numerals (20), collective basic numerals (5), distributive basic numerals (3), indefinite basic numerals (6). In this research, it can be concluded that the numeralia in the Raja Ampat language of the Wardo dialect has its own characteristics, namely when the numeralia in an Indonesian sentence is placed at the beginning of the sentence, in the Wardo dialect it will move to the middle or end of the sentence depending on the subject in the sentence

Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of Struggle Values ​​in the Novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen. The purpose of this study is to determine the values ​​of struggle in the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen?. This study is a qualitative descriptive. The method used is a descriptive method. The data source is the Novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen and from the internet. The data collection technique using the reading technique is done by reading carefully and thoroughly the main data source of the study and . The novel reader is done carefully from the beginning to the end of the story and is done repeatedly and the author notes important things in the novel that relate to the values ​​of struggle in the novel. The data analysis technique used includes three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research procedure carried out consists of several stages, namely data collection, data selection, analyzing selected data, and making a research report. The data validity technique uses theory triangulation, method triangulation, data source triangulation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded: The results of the research on the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen, show Based on the research results on the values ​​of struggle contained in the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen, as explained, it can be concluded as follows. Abstract

Rumusan penelitian bagaimana dampak Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia terhadap pelestarian budaya bahasa Key RT 002/RW 008 Jln Ampi,Kelurahan Puncak Cendrawasih,Kecamatan Sorong Barat Kota Sorong? Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia terhadap pelestarian budaya bahasa Key RT 002/RW 008 Jln Ampi,Kelurahan Puncak Cendrawasih,Kecamatan Sorong Barat Kota Sorong. Metode kualitatif deskriptif, di mana informasi dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta mencerminkan keadaan nyata yang ditemukan di lapangan. Data ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen tertulis yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah oleh masyarakat. Fokus data diarahkan pada tiga bidang, yaitu di masyarakat Key RT 002/ RW 008 Kelurahan Puncak Cendrawasih Kecamatan Sorong Barat Kota Sorong.Sumber data Tokoh masyarakat, pendidik, wakil warga, atau pejabat pemerintah lokal. Hasil ada 34 dampak positif dan 34 dampak negative. Kesimpulan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia memiliki efek ganda terhadap pelestarian budaya bahasa Key, yakni membawa dampak positif sekaligus dampak negatif. di satu sisi, Bahasa Indonesia telah membuka akses yg lebih luas bagi rakyat terhadap pendidikan, info, dan komunikasi nasional. Penggunaannya pula mendorong peningkatan literasi, berpikir kritis, dan memperkuat identitas nasional. Bahkan, dalam konteks eksklusif, Bahasa Indonesia berfungsi menjadi sarana pelestarian budaya lokal melalui dokumentasi dan media modern
