Abstract

Increasing Ability to Analyze Information in Explanatory Text Using the Discovery Learning Learning Model for Class XI-Beauty Students at SMK Negeri 2 Kota Sorong. Formulation of the problem How to increase the ability to analyze information in explanatory text using the Discovery learning learning model for class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Sorong city?. The purpose of the research is to find out the increase in the ability to analyze information in explanatory texts using the Discovery learning learning model for class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Sorong City. The form of this research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 15 students of class XI-Beauty at SMK Negeri 2 Sorong City. The method used is a qualitative - quantitative description method. The research includes two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection was carried out by tests and nontes. Data collection tools include observation guidelines, journals, interview guidelines, and photo documentation guidelines. It can be concluded as follows: There was an increase in the ability to analyze explanatory text using the Discovery learning learning model with non-test results in cycle I and cycle II covering two aspects, namely (1) Function (2) Completeness of General Explanation Structure, Process, Closing. The increase in the ability to analyze explanatory text is known from the results of cycle I and cycle II. The average value of the ability to analyze explanatory text is known from the results of cycle I. The average value of ability to analyze explanatory text in cycle I was 76% or in the less category, and experienced an increase in cycle II to 81.6% or in the good category. This shows an increase in the average value of writing the text of the observation report from cycle I to cycle II of 5.6%. In cycle II, using the Discopery Learning learning model, the number of students is 15 with a minimum average score that has been fulfilled, which exceeds the KKM score of 75.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi di kelas III SD Yapis Teminabuan ditemukan kesalahan-kesalahan dalam menulis huruf tegak bersambung. Sehingga, peneliti merumuskan masalah bagaimana menggunakkan metode Latihan Drill pada siswa untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan menulis huruf tegak bersambung. Tujuan  untuk mengetahui   penulisan huruf  tegak bersambung menggunakan metode latihan Drill pada guru-guru terhadap siswa SD Yapis Teminabuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode latihan (Drill)  yang menekankan pada kegiatan latihan yang dilakukan berulang-ulang secara terus menerus untuk menguasai kemampuan atau keterampilan tertentu kepada siswa SD. Teknik pengumpulan data dari siswa-siswi SD Yapis kelas III dan guru wali kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 100% siswa dengan jumlah 35 siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam tulisan tegak bersambungnya.  Kesalahan yang terjadi sebanyak 3107 kesalahan. Yakni (1) kesalahan berdasarkan aspek bentuk huruf (2) kesalahan berdasarkan aspek kerapian tulisan dan (3) kesalahan berdasarkan aspek kejelasan tulisan. Faktor penyebab kesalahan penulisan huruf tegak bersambung ini berasal dari siswa dan guru . Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 75% siswa sudah mampu menulis huruf tegak bersambung dengan cukup baik, hal ini dapat terlihat jumlah jenis kesalahan yang terjadi pada masing-masing hasil tulisan tegak bersambung siswa. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan untuk guru kelas, agar memberikan pembelajaran tentang menulis huruf tegak bersambung dengan benar sesuai dengan kaidah Bahasa Indonesia yang ada.

Abstract

Penerapan komputer bukan hanya pada dunia pemerintahan ataupun instansi – instansi besar, tetapi juga pada dunia pendidikan. Padahal tanpa disadari pengetahuan tentang komputer sangat penting dalam dunia persaingan saat ini. Semakin teknologi berkembang, komputer merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan ujian nasional. Menghindari pembelajaran komputer yang tidak terarah, maka proses belajar dapat dilakukan pada anak-anak melalui Sekolah Dasar. Penguasaan komputer yang tepat dapat dimulai dari adanya pembelajaran dasar – dasar komputer dan pengenalan komputer sejak dini di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Belajar komputer pada anak-anak di SD Inpres 1 Kabupaten Sorong masih kurang, karena hanya diberikan bagi siswa yang merupakan kelas persiapan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional. Pembelajaran komputer dapat dilakukan supaya anak – anak di SD Inpres 1 Kabupaten Sorong dapat mengetahui, mengenal, dan menerapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan adalah berjalan dengan lancar dan sangat disambut baik serta antusias dari masing-masing peserta. Selain itu, peserta kegiatan dapat menambah wawasan tentang perangkat komputer dan penggunaannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Salah satu aktivitas yang dilakukan gereja adalah pelayanan peribadatan. Dalam pelayanan ibadah pun telah terjadi perubahan media yang dipakai dalam kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan yang sudah mulai meninggalkan cara-cara konvensional dengan menggunakan multimedia interaktif dalam menunjang kegiatan beragama. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi untuk menunjang pelayanan ibadah yaitu dengan penggunaan aplikasi easyworship. Salah satu Gereja yang menjadi perhatian untuk dilakukannya pelatihan penggunaan easyworship adalah Gereja Protestan Indonesia (GPI) Getsemani Kota Sorong. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh pihak gereja adalah keterbatasan tenaga pengelola infokus dengan menggunakan aplikasi easyworship sedangkan banyak pemuda pemudi gereja yang dapat dilibatkan dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mereka terkait dengan pemanfaatan teknologi ini sehingga aktivitas peribadatan dapat ditunjang dengan baik. Dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan topik kegiatan yaitu penggunaan easyworhip terhadap pemuda-pemudi GPI Getsemani Kota Sorong menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan. Hal ini terlihat dari kemahiran dan kecakapan mereka dalam penggunaan aplikasi tersebut saat kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan.

Abstract

The author's research objective is to describe the social values contained in the Legend of Batu Termanu. And to describe the public's view of the Legend of Batu Termanu. The research formulation is in the form of . What social values are contained in the Legend of Batu Termanu? What are the public's views on the Legend of Batu Termanu? In this research, the author discusses the Sociological Literary Analysis of the Legend of Batu Termanu in Termanu Village, Rote Tengah District, Rote Ndao Regency. The problem in this research is the literary sociological values contained in the Legend of Batu Termanu and the public's views on the Legend of Batu Termanu. The legend of Batu Termanu is a form of story owned by the people of Termanu, which is precisely located in Termanu Village, Rote Tengah District, Rote Ndao Regency. The method used in analyzing this research problem is a descriptive method with field research techniques. This research uses literary sociology theory. Data in the form of primary data and secondary data and data sources from sources. Data collection techniques are through 1) observation techniques, 2) interview techniques, 3) documentation techniques. The researcher's data analysis techniques use 1) data reduction, 2) data display (data presentation) , 2) Conclusion. Meanwhile, the validity of the author's data uses 1) Credibility Test, 2) Source Triangulation, 3) Theory Trianggulation. The conclusions obtained in researching this legend include: compassion, responsibility, and harmony in life. Based on this research, until now Batu Termanu is still located in Termanu Village, Rote Ndao Regency

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the means of language, mathematics, statistics in thinking scientifically. Formulation of the problem: how to use language, mathematics, statistics in thinking scientifically? The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the way to obtain data is in the form of a literature study. The results of this study are that the stages of scientific activity require tools in the form of scientific thinking facilities. The means of scientific thinking function only as tools for humans to think scientifically in order to gain knowledge. Language is a means of communicating systematic ways of thinking in acquiring knowledge. Mathematics is a means of deductive thinking, so people can use statistics to think inductively. Deductive thinking and inductive thinking are needed to support correct scientific activities so that they will produce correct knowledge. Meanwhile, statistics should not be underestimated by people who want to be able to carry out scientific activities well. Mastery of statistics is very necessary for people who will draw valid conclusions. Statistics must be seen as equal to mathematics.

Abstract

AbstractThis research uses the design of learning model based on the achievement of competence. This study aims to describe the level of relevance and factors that influence the development of Syllabus and SAP lecturer of the Indonesian Language Education Program at University of Victory Sorong. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative research work framework by using content analysis. Content analysis is conducted on syllabus and SAP lecturers with a reference to the learning design model based on the achievement of competence. The data collection in this research is done by interview and observation. The focus of observation in this research is to cover seven variables: identity, competency standard, basic competence, learning objectives, learning materials, source, and time. The results showed that the course of education has a relevance level of 44, 29%. In the course of linguistic has a relevance level of 42, 08%. Course of literature has a relevance level of 45, 4%. In the skill subject has a relevance level of 43, 29%. The research that has been conducted shows the relevance related to the preparation of syllabus and SAP of lecturers of Indonesian Language Education UNVIC in less relevant category. The research of syllabus and SAP lecturer based on the design of learning model based on the achievement of competence provides an illustration and benefit to the quality of service to the students to achieve the learning objectives and the preparation of the content of Syllabus and SAP lecturers well again.Keywords: Syllabus, SAP, Lecturer, Model Design Based of Competence

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the numeralia of the Raja Ampat language of the Wardo dialect in Arefi village, Raja Ampat district. This research aims to identify the forms of numeralia and types of numeralia in the Wardo dialect in Raja Ampat district. This research is in the form of qualitative research. The subject in this research is the researcher himself and the data source in this research comes from sources who are native speakers of the Wardo dialect. The data collection techniques in this research are free-involved listening, interview techniques, note-taking and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The numeralia results obtained in this research are based on the types of numeralia, namely; definite basic numerals (20), collective basic numerals (5), distributive basic numerals (3), indefinite basic numerals (6). In this research, it can be concluded that the numeralia in the Raja Ampat language of the Wardo dialect has its own characteristics, namely when the numeralia in an Indonesian sentence is placed at the beginning of the sentence, in the Wardo dialect it will move to the middle or end of the sentence depending on the subject in the sentence

Abstract

Menyontek merupakan perilaku yang sering dilakukan oleh banyak pelajar semasa mereka mengenyam pendidikan formal. Selama ini, perilaku menyontek kurang mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari berbagai pihak karena dianggap merupakan sebuah tindakan sepele, padahal perilaku ini merupakan salah satu bentuk ketidakjujuran di dalam dunia pendidikan. Penyebab seorang pelajar menyontek tugas atau pekerjaan temannya dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, maupun eksternal (dari orang tua, guru, ataupun sistem pendidikan yang ada). Secara interal, penyebab seorang pelajar menyontek biasanya muncul dari kurangnya rasa percaya diri dan ketidaksiapan siswa dalam mengahadapi ujian. Sedangkan secara eksternal, menyontek dapat disebabkan oleh tidak adanya variasi dalam proses pengajaran sehingga siswa enggan untuk belajar. PKM ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi para pelajar agar dapat mengenali potensi yang ada pada dirinya masing-masing sehingga dapat bersikap jujur serta tidak hanya menganggap bahwa nilai adalah segalanya tanpa mengedepankan ilmu yang harus diperoleh.

Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of Struggle Values ​​in the Novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen. The purpose of this study is to determine the values ​​of struggle in the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen?. This study is a qualitative descriptive. The method used is a descriptive method. The data source is the Novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen and from the internet. The data collection technique using the reading technique is done by reading carefully and thoroughly the main data source of the study and . The novel reader is done carefully from the beginning to the end of the story and is done repeatedly and the author notes important things in the novel that relate to the values ​​of struggle in the novel. The data analysis technique used includes three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research procedure carried out consists of several stages, namely data collection, data selection, analyzing selected data, and making a research report. The data validity technique uses theory triangulation, method triangulation, data source triangulation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded: The results of the research on the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen, show Based on the research results on the values ​​of struggle contained in the novel Melangkah by J.S Khairen, as explained, it can be concluded as follows.
