Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas X.1 SMAN 8 Padang. Sumber belajar yang inovatif perlu digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran agar pemahaman konsep siswa dapat meningkat, maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan upaya peningkatan pemahaman konsep sosiologi siswa melalui model talking stick berbantuan sumber belajar kamus mini dan media scramble. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut melalui penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari langkah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Selama dua siklus dan empat kali pertemuan pada materi pengendalian sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase observasi pemahaman konsep siswa pada siklus I rata-rata naik sebesar 21,5% dan pada siklus II sebesar 41,03%. Skor tes pemahaman konsep sosiologi siswa rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 81,71% dan 100% pada siklus II. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini telah tercapai yaitu mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students of class XI Social Sciences at SMA N 5 Padang. This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of the Liveworksheet-based LKPD in improving student learning outcomes in class XI IPS SMAN 5 Padang. This experimental study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study amounted to 36 students of class XI IPS SMA N 5 Padang. The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total sample of 36 class XI IPS 1 SMA N 5 Padang students. The data collection technique uses pretest and posttest questions with a question indicator that presents a phenomenon so that students can identify the meaning of social integration and actual examples of social integration in the surrounding environment and the driving factors of social integration. The average pretest score was 52, and the average posttest score was 86. This study was analyzed using David Ausubel's meaningful learning theory. The data analysis techniques used were normality, homogeneity, and paired t-tests. Normality test and homogeneity test function as test requirements to find out whether the t-test data analysis can be continued or not. In contrast, the paired t-test is used to determine the difference between samples after and before using the live worksheet-based e-LKPD. To measure the effectiveness in this study using SPSS 22 with normality test results of 0.43, homogeneity test results of 0.68 proven sig value. > 0.05 means that the data is usually distributed and homogeneous so that the T-test can be carried out, and the T-test results are 0.00, which proves the sig value. <0.05 so that H0 is rejected, which means that there are differences in students' sociological learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that using Liveworksheet-based worksheets effectively improves student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sociology learning with limited teaching material makes it difficult for students to find material, in addition unsatisfactory learning outcomes. Therefore it is necessary to design teaching materials that are able to improve students’ learning outcomes and achieve mastery of the material. One of the teching materials that can support the subject of sociology is the discovery inquiry based LKPD teaching material. This research on the development of LKPD is a type of RND research with the ADDIE development model consisting of: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. This research is based on construcrivism theory, namely building a modern culture life structure through the involvement of students to be active in the construction of meaning and knowledge. Based in the application of LKPD, student obtained a pretest with an average of 35,4 and an average posttest of 68,6, that of students’ critical thingking before and after learning. Then the normality test, homogeneity test and t test were carried out.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a learning system that is carried out online and offline which causes science and social studies students not to be enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. The motivation that each student has in participating in learning is different, because there are many factors that can affect student learning motivation. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the learning motivation of science and social studies students in online and offline learning and the comparison of the two. This type of research is ex post facto with a comparative method. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Kec. Akabiluru, in the teaching of July-December 2021/2022. The number of samples in this study were 60 students. The data used is the type of primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to students in class XI IPA 2 and XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Kec. Akabiluru. The analytical method used is hypothesis testing using SPSS version 26 Analyze Frequencies. The results showed that the results of the independent sample T-Test obtained results of 0.00 <0.05 which means that there is a significant comparison of learning motivation between students XI IPA 2 and XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Kec. Akabiluru. These differences are influenced by (1) the desire and desire to succeed, (2) the drive and need for learning, (3) and the hopes and aspirations for the future.

Abstract

The development of the era which has entered the 21st century, science and information technology is growing very rapidly has a lot of influence on all areas of life. Especially in the educational aspect, the use of technology can be applied in the learning process in schools, namely by using learning media. The purpose of this research is to help students understand the material and relate the concepts of sociology learning in everyday life. This study uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. Data collection was carried out with a question instrument in the form of a pretest posttest. The target of the trial in this study was in class XI IPS 2 at SMA N 12 Merangin using purposive sampling as an experimental class with 32 students as research subjects. After testing the normality and homogeneity tests for data analysis of the effectiveness of the sociology learning animation video media, the t-test was carried out. Based on the results of the study showed that animated videos in sociology learning proved to be effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the evaluation of the implementation of online sociology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. This research is motivated because the application of learning that was originally face-to-face at school became online learning. During the implementation of online learning, there are obstacles that occur to students so that an evaluation process is needed for the implementation of online learning. This research is quantitative research using evaluation research type. The type of evaluation used is program evaluation. This study uses a descriptive evaluative research method with a quantitative-descriptive approach. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on the research results obtained as a whole, the results of the evaluation of online learning programs carried out by students and teachers went well. And the online sociology learning program can be continued with a slight improvement in the process of giving and understanding material to students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in learning of students in sociology at SMA N 6 Padang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in students' interest in learning sociology in class X IPS 3 SMA N 6 Padang through the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model. The method used in conducting this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the aim of improving problems in the classroom. This study uses a design from Kemmis and McTaggart, namely the determination of the focus of the problem, action planning, observation/observation and data collection, and reflection. The sample in this study was 35 students of class X IPS 3 at SMA N 6 Padang. The data from this study were collected from observation sheets, questionnaires and interviews which were analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques taken from observation data and questionnaires while qualitative analysis techniques were from interview data. The theory used to analyze this research is the meaningful theory proposed by David Ausubel. During the second cycle, there were 4 meetings with social research material. The results showed that the percentage of observation of students' interest in learning in the first cycle was 40.17% while in the second cycle it was 87.13%. The results of the interest in learning questionnaire before taking the student's interest in learning were 30.09%, after the action the results of the interest in learning questionnaire were 91.57%. After the action, the results of the interview showed that after the learning was carried out by applying the make a match type of learning model students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of forming student discipline attitudes through integrating learning and school culture at SMA Negeri 1 Akabiluru District. In the process of forming student discipline attitudes, obstacles were encountered in its implementation. With these obstacles there are also solutions to these obstacles in the formation of attitudes in schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach, with the type of case study research, data collection by observation. in-depth interviews with 22 informants, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman technique with the steps of Data Reduction, Data Display, and Withdrawal/Verification of Conclusions. The research location is in SMA Negeri 1, Akabiluru District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The results of this study show that the strategy in forming student discipline attitudes consists of integrating in learning and school culture. The strategy of forming student discipline attitudes through integration in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Akabiluru District is carried out in 2 ways, namely the formation of discipline attitudes through thematic instructional methods and the formation of disciplined attitudes through non-thematic instructional methods. Through thematic instructional with habituation of discipline in the classroom, it is carried out by conducting an initial diagnostic test to identify the student's character and the appropriate learning design. The strategy carried out by SMA Negeri 1 Akabiluru District through school culture is the habituation of new habits to school after the pandemic, providing exemplary behavior, collaborating with parents and the community, strengthening student discipline with extracurricular activities, habituation in participating in flag ceremonies and religious and branding activities. child friendly school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in class X Social Sciences 3 SMA UNP Laboratory Development. Based on this, an innovative and creative learning model is needed so as to encourage students to think critically by using the Probing prompting learning model. The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect of the Probing prompting model on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. The data collection technique of this research used observation, tests and documentation. The theory that is suitable for this research is Ausubel's cognitive theory. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers at the UNP Laboratory Development High School, the percentage results in the first cycle of 41.32% increased in the second cycle of 70.00% from the results of the second cycle percentage in this study showed an increase in students' critical thinking. Therefore, this use can answer the question of this research in improving the critical thinking of class students.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with ex post facto type. This is related to the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI of SMAN 1 Gunung Talang. The quantitative approach was chosen as the approach because the research focused on how to carry out its activities to achieve the expected goals. The population taken in this study were students who were involved in the implementation of online learning in class XI IPS 1 to IPS 5 in the July-December 2021 semester. The data collection technique used in this study was using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique that researchers will use in this study uses descriptive statistical data analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between learning independence and interest in learning in class XI IPS SMA 1 Gunung Talang Academic Year 2021/2022 which can be seen from the reliability test of Cronbach's Alpha, the results of the reliability test of the independent variable in learning obtained a reliability value of 0.713 then reliability the measuring tool is good, while for the learning interest variable the reliability value is 0.705, the reliability is good. Both variables have good reliability, meaning that these items are very reliable as a data collection tool in this study.
