Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran lesson study dengan memfasilitasi tumbuhnya komunitas belajar melalui tutor teman sebaya pada mata pelajaran sosiologi di SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kolaboratif (colaboration) dan komunikatif (communication) siswa sebagai aspek 4C yang harus dikembangkan pada peserta didik di abad 21. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman Barat. Hasil Penelitian yang diharapkan adalah pertama pada aspek kognitif siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami materi karena melalui tutor teman sebaya akan terbangun perilaku potensial melalui pengorganisasian materi pembelajaran secara mandiri dalam bentuk mencari pertolongan dan memberi pertolongan selama proses belajar secara lebih intensif karena jarak psikologis yang minimal antara tutor dan tutee. Kedua, pada aspek afektif akan terjadi hubungan interaksi yang lebih erat antara peserta didik dan guru. Ketiga, Pada aspek keterampilan diharapkan akan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kolaboratif dan komunikatif peserta didik. Pada akhirnya diharapkan pelaksanaan lesson study selama penelitian, juga telah mempererat kolegalitas antara tim peneliti dan guru mitra, membentuk mutual learning (saling belajar), terbentuknya komunitas belajar dan meningkatkan profesional guru sebagai pendidik dan pengajar

Abstract

A dialogue with the community and the government of the Batipuah Baruah village was held to see the problems faced by the community today. In addition to ensuring that community service is participatory, this is also to ensure that the solutions offered are targeted. From this dialogue, found the problem on economic and socio-cultural sector. On economic sector, hidden unemployment with productive age is still found, while the use of online platforms in carrying out and developing economic activities by the Batipuah Baruah village youth is also still lacking. On socio-cultural issues, there are still non-optimal use of media (information and communication technology), in this case new media (websites, social media, and/or other online media). Utilization of information technology is a necessity today to answer these problems. Through situation analysis, the service program that is carried out is media content production training. Program implementation methods and approaches are training with pre-program, planning, production, and distribution, also post-program stages. Through this activity, it is possible to increase the ability of youth in Batipuah Baruah's Karang Taruna Nagari in planning, implementing and distributing content by producing 28 contents in the form of photos, videos and texts that are part of citizen journalism activities.

Abstract

Artikel ini menggambarkan tentang penerapan Lesson Study dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Collaborative, Commnicative, dan Creative) pada pembelajaran sosiologi. Tuntutan kurikulum berbasis 4.0 menuntut siswa harus mampu bekerja sama, berkomunkasi, berfikir kritis dan kreatif, tuntutan ini dapat dicapai jika guru membuat pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan 4C. Dalam meningkakan kemampuan 4C dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan kegiatan lesson study, selain itu peningkatan ketrampilan 4C juga harus diikuti dengan penanaman karakter yang dapat menyiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan Lesson study merupakan bentuk pembelajaran yang meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi dan ketrampilan 4C (critical thinking, creative, collaborative, dan commnicative). Penerpaan Adat Basandi Syarak, Syarak Basandi Kitabullah (ASB-BSK) dalam membentuk karakter religius pada siswa dapat dimasukan kedalam materi pembelajaran Sosiologi menggunakan pembelajaran indirect teching, penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan penanaman nilai Al-Quran dan budaya Minangkabau merupakan alternatif untuk menumbuhkembangkan karakter religius dan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah problematika sistem pembelajaran kombinasi daring dan luring pada mata pelajaran sosiologi, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan problematika sistem pembelajaran kombinasi daring dan luring pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir, Adapun dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua teori yang pertama teori struktural fungsional oleh Talcott Parsons, di dalam teori ini terdapat konsep AGIL. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus, pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan 20 orang informan, pengumpulan data secara observasi. Wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Data Reduction (Reduksi Data), Data Display (Penyajian Data), dan Conclusion Drawing/ Verification (Penarikan Kesimpulan). Lokasi penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan selama berada di lapangan yaitu di SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir pelaksanaan pembelajaran kombinasi daring dan luring memilki problematika yang dirasakan siswa adalah 1) Siswa kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan diri terhadap pembelajaran kombinasi, 2) Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran kombinasi daring/luring, 3) Kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran kombinasi daring/luring, 4) Hasil belajar siswa rendah , 5) Siswa tidak mampu membeli paket internet, 6) Kesulitan siswa dalam mengakses jaringan internet. dan guru dalam melaksanakan sistem pembelajaran kombinasi daring/luring. adapun problematika sistem pembelajaran kombinasi daring/luring pada mata pelajaran sosiologi yang berasal dari guru yaitu: 1) Guru tidak memiliki skill/pengetahuan dalam pembelajaran kombinasi daring/luring, 2) Guru kesulitan dalam memberikan penilaian pada pembelajaran kombinasi, 3) Tidak efektifnya waktu mengajar guru, 4) kemampuan guru sosiologi menggunakan teknologi informasi terbatas, 5) Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

This article was written to explain why people still perform rituals Tarei Asyeik and describe the process as well as the meaning contained in the ritual Tarei Asyeik. Data were collected through interviews and observations. Asyeik Tarei rituals are still performed by High cottage Village community because the community believes that by carrying out the ritual Tarei Asyeik, they will be protected from any disaster and distress that would threaten their community and not all diseases can be treated medically. Ritual Tarei Asyeik has meaning cleanse and purify the body and soul.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain how to increase community knowledge for management homestay based local community in Sungai Pinang, West Sumatra. This problem interesting because Sungai Pinang is one of the villages that has great potential to become a mainstay tourism village for West Sumatra and one of the locations that is quite attractive to local and foreign tourists. However, the development of Nagari Sungai Pinang tourism has not been accompanied by the readiness of the community to become a tourism community. One of the indicators is the issue of participation in supporting important tourism infrastructure, such as lodging/ homestays. In Sungai Pinang there is currently only one inn, and even then it is managed by a private sector which is commercialized, so it does not have an impact on the economy of the local community. Whereas residents' houses are an important resource that can be used as homestays. This problem is the reason for the importance of fostering the Sungai Pinang community. As a solution to the problems encountered by the partners above, community-based homestay management training is carried out according to standards, by utilizing local residents' homes. The community needs to be given education about homestay management standards that pay attention to service and comfort to visitors, because lodging is one of the factors that can influence tourist interest, including the welfare of local communities. The form of activity provided is socialization and training in managing residents' houses to become homestays. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the knowledge and ability of the community to managing homestays, including knowledge of homestay management that supports tourism development in Sungai Pinang.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the index card match learning model to increase students' motivation to learn sociology in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Rao Utara. The results of this study will be helpful for teachers as a guide in implementing a simple and fun learning model for students. By looking at the purpose of this research, it can be seen that this type of research is classroom action research (CAR), where the data collection technique that the author does is through the observation sheet. The subjects of this study consisted of 22 students in class XI IPS 2. Then the resulting data will be analyzed with quantitative descriptive techniques so that the resulting data can be tested for validity. The indicator of the success of this research leads to the average percentage of students' motivation in classical sociology learning, which is at least 70%. The results showed an increase in students' motivation to learn sociology. The pre-cycle found students' learning motivation with an average score of 15.58%, then in the first cycle of 42.85%, and the second cycle of 72.72%. Thus, this learning model has succeeded in increasing students' motivation to learn sociology in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Rao Utara.

Abstract

This paper describes sociology learning that is integrated with the value of local wisdom in facing the challenges of living in a disaster area. One of the disasters that often occur and have a major impact on people's lives is flooding and banjir bandang (galodo). One way to deal with natural disasters is to understand how to deal with disasters, therefore it is necessary to understand disaster mitigation. Disaster mitigation education is an effort to overcome and minimize the impact if a disaster occurs, so it is important for teachers to teach disaster mitigation education, which will later be beneficial for students in interacting with the environment. One of the appropriate materials to teach disaster mitigation education is local wisdom material. The form of local wisdom that exists in Minangkabau is a song, one of the songs that contains the value of local wisdom in dealing with disasters is "pasan buruang". Few students know this song, so the teacher needs to teach the value of local wisdom contained in this song. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, using interview, observation and documentation methods. The theory used in analyzing the results of this study is the theory of cognitivism proposed by Jean Piaget. The results of this study indicate that the method of group discussion and choir is a way for students to appreciate the meaning of the pasan buruang song and with this chorus method students feel interested in collaborating with other friends to find the meaning of this song. Teaching the local wisdom of the pasanburuang song with the chorus method increased the enthusiasm of the eleventh graders.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students in learning in accordance with the indicators of critical thinking skills assessment in learning. Related to the low critical thinking ability of students in learning, the importance of the role of a teacher to prepare students' critical thinking skills in learning. The teacher is the most important component in learning activities that can interact directly with students. Teachers have an important role to form quality students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of sociology teachers in preparing students' critical thinking skills in the sociology learning process at SMA N 2 Sipora. This study uses a qualitative approach. The informant selection technique is purposive sampling, which is based on the researcher's criteria. The data was collected by interviewing 3 sociology teachers at SMA N 2 Sipora, 3 students in class X IPS 1 and the Curriculum Representative of SMA N 2 Sipora, then observing the sociology learning activities and the latest data was documentation in the form of photos, lesson plans documents and so on. In this study using data analysis from Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The theory used in the research on the role of the teacher in preparing students' critical thinking skills in the sociology learning process at SMA N 2 Sipora is constructivism theory. The results of this study are the first role of the sociology teacher as class manager, in the form of creating an atmosphere of fun learning activities, attracting students' attention and managing learning. Second, the role of sociology teachers as facilitators, designing learning media and innovative learning models. Third, the role of the sociology teacher as a motivator, providing direction, advice, and approaching. Fourth, the teacher's role as a demonstrator, the existence of performances and mastery of the material in advance or self-preparation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student learning activities that affect student learning outcomes in sociology in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Akabiluru District, the low learning activity is influenced by several factors, one of which is learning strategies. This needs to be corrected by the teacher, one way to improve it is by applying the think pair share learning model in the student learning process, this study aims to analyze the effect of the think pair share learning model in improving student learning activities in class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Akabiluru District. the type of research that will be used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and tests. The research instruments that the researcher used were observation sheets and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 32 students in class XI IPS 1. The theory used in this study is Behavioristic according to Thorndike. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning activities using the think pair share learning model. This is indicated by the average percentage of the first cycle of 36.1%, in the second cycle there was an increase of 71.8% so it can be concluded that using the learning model can increase student learning activities and also have an influence on learning outcomes with the percentage of the pretest level of completeness 31.3% and at posttest 75%. This happens because students are required to complete individual and group assignments that develop students' thinking skills so that students are able to think critically and make students active in learning activities.
