Abstract

Attractive media for English as a foreign language at the elementary school needs to be elaborated with the cultural values. The aim is for students to have a fun and authentic learning experience because the media contains culture that they often see and even engage in. At the end, learning media integrated with local cultural values when applied to English learning in elementary schools can support the process of promoting students' characters.This study aims to find an animated video design with local cultural values in English language learning to promote the character of elementary school students in Gorontalo. It focuses on exploring students and English teachers perception towards integrating local cultural animated video in English language teaching media to promote students? character. This study uses Research and Development design in the form of need analysis with mixed method data analysis. The respondents involve are 250 students in fifteen elementary schools in Gorontalo. The researcher uses questionnaire and interview to collect the data. The result shows that the students agreed that integrating animated video in English language teaching and learning are an interesting idea. They preferred choosing traditional games and songs as topics to be learnt with English. Meanwhile, the English teachers believed that the implementation of media or learning resources with Gorontalo cultural values can promote the character of elementary school students. However, teachers were unfamiliar with cultural integration in learning English. They have never found a media or source of learning English that covers Gorontalo culture. The culture that is considered necessary to be integrated together with English learning is Gorontalo tourism spots, and traditional dances and games.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini, adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Penerapan manajemen Pembelajaran full day school di SDN Ipilo Gorontalo; (2) Tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dalam   mengikuti pembelajaran full day school SDN 63 Gorontalo,; (3) Pengaruh manajemen pembelajaran full day school terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SDN Ipilo Gorontalo. Teknik yang digunakan adalah stratified proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi regresi linier sederhana. Manajemen pembelajaran full day school di SDN Ipilo Gorontalo tergolong sangat baik, motivasi belajar siswa di SDN Ipilo Gorontalo tergolong tinggi, berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana diperoleh hasil ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara manajemen pembelajaran full day school dan motivasi belajar siswa SDN Ipilo Gorontalo. Hal ini disebabkan oleh Full Day School (FDS) yang merupakan siswa bersekolah sehari penuh. Dengan itu maka, sekolah dapat mengatur jadwal pelajaran dengan leluasa, disesuaikan dengan bobot mata pelajaran dan ditambah dengan pendalaman materi. Ada beberapa hal yang melatarbelakangi pihak sekolah menyelenggarakan program full day school yakni para orang tua berkeinginan memasukkan anaknya ke Full Day School (FDS), karena orang tua merasa terjamin anaknya erada dilingkungan sekolah dimana orang tuanya masih sibuk bekerja untuk mencari nafkah.Kata Kunci :  manajemen pembelajaran, full day school, motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract

This study aims: to determine the factors that influence student satisfaction towards library services at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the level of student satisfaction with services Madrasah Ibtidaiyah library, and the most dominant factor in influencing student satisfaction with library services at the Ibtidaiyyah Madrasah. That approach used in this study is quantitative, with the type of exploratory research. While the population is all students of Alwathaniyyah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, for sampling is done using random sampling. The results of this study among others: the quality factor of employee services at the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah library Alwathaniyyah is good, students look at the product / physical quality of Madrasah libraries Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah is good enough and needs improvement, students look the performance of library staff in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah is good, and a factor the most dominant in influencing student satisfaction with service quality The Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah Madrasah Library is a factor in Service Quality Librarian. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, dan faktor yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam Jurnal ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan jenis eksploratori. Sedangkan populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah, untuk pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: faktor kualitas layanan jasa pegawai perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah sudah baik, siswa memandang kualitas produk/fisik perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah sudah cukup baik dan perlu adanya peningkatan, siswa memandang performansi pegawai perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah sudah baik, dan faktor yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi kepuasan siswa terhadap kualitas layanan Perpustakaan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Alwathaniyyah adalah faktor Kualitas Layanan Jasa Pegawai Perpustakaan.

Abstract

Learning in the form of practical applications is a form of real learning activities where students will receive teaching materials at the same time be able to directly prove it through direct practice at school. The long-term objective of the research is that students will be exposed to data interpretation in which they are asked to apply their theoretical knowledge to numbers and use their reasoning skills to make inferences based on the logic and trends of the given data set and can also contribute to the development of education in Indonesia. especially in the city of Gorontalo. Learning in the form of practical applications can be an intermediary for teachers and elementary school students to be able to develop students 'and teachers' way of thinking so as to produce professional teachers and genius students. Currently, the learning conditions are not optimal in achieving the learning objectives, therefore it is necessary to conduct research on learning in the form of practical applications with this research to answer the causes of the less than optimal implementation of the effective learning process in Gorontalo City and efforts to increase teacher professionalism can be realized. This research uses qualitative research. The type of research is program evaluation using the explanatory model. The main data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation of various data sources (informants) that are directly related to, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, or the Internet of Things. This research is not only directed at the results (product). However, the other three components are also evaluated, because the four components are very closely related. Apart from interviews, data collection was also carried out using observation and documentation techniques. The observation technique was carried out on the learning process and product (result) in the form of practical application in Gorontalo City, while the documentation technique was carried out on documents relating to the process and product (result). In this aspect, the highest percentage (%) is that students spend about 1 hour / day at 28%, while the lowest is that students spend 4-5 hours / day or 11.6%. From this percentage, it can be concluded that the percentage of students who spend or spend time reading science subjects is still low so that the efforts of teachers and parents and the surrounding environment are needed so that students' interest in reading is maximized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Unggulan Kota Gorontalo, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Unggulan Kota Gorontalo sudah berada pada tahap siap. hal tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan tahapan-tahapan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang telah terlaksana dengan baik. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Unggulan Kota Gorontalo sudah baik walaupun, masih ada beberapa indikator yang lemah pelaksanaannya, pada indikator Tahapan-tahapan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka telah terlaksana dengan baik sedangkan pada indikator Kendala Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menemui berbagai macam kendala mulai dari peserta didik maupun pendidiknya. Sedangkan pada indikator Optimalisasi Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka telah terlaksana dengan baik, maka dari tiga indikator dua indikator telah terlaksana dengan dan satu indikator cukup baik pelaksanaanya. Optimalisasi Kurikulum Merdeka mendapatkan berbagai macam dukungan kepala sekolah maupun Dinas setempat dalam hal ini Kementrian Agama.

Abstract

Perilaku agresif pada anak merupakan masalah serius yang dapat mengganggu perkembangan sosial, emosional, dan akademik. Deteksi dini dan intervensi yang tepat sangat penting untuk mencegah dampak negatif jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan prediksi agresif anak berbasis machine learning untuk mendeteksi perilaku agresif pada anak usia sekolah dasar hingga menengah atas. data observasi 200 orang guru di Provinsi Gorontalo, yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online yang mengukur berbagai indikator perilaku agresif seperti fisik, verbal, relasional, dan kerusakan properti, digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan model. Instrumen penelitian telah divalidasi dengan uji validitas isi oleh praktisi kesehatan mental dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach's alpha dengan nilai koefisien 0.7. Tiga metode seleksi fitur, yaitu Korelasi Pearson, Chi-Square, dan Information Gain, diaplikasikan untuk memilih variabel independen yang paling relevan dalam memprediksi perilaku agresif anak. Dari 14 variabel independen yang diukur melalui kuesioner, terdapat 12 fitur terpilih sebagai prediktor. Fitur-fitur ini merepresentasikan indikator perilaku agresif yang diamati oleh para guru pada siswa-siswa mereka, meliputi perubahan emosi, perilaku menyendiri, kesulitan tidur, penurunan prestasi akademik, dan perilaku berisiko.Dua algoritma machine learning, Random Forest dan Support Vector Machine (SVM), diimplementasikan dan dievaluasi kinerjanya menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model Random Forest mencapai akurasi 90%, mengungguli SVM (85%). Analisis prediksi yang dikembangkan memiliki potensi untuk diimplementasikan dalam bentuk aplikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan orang tua untuk melakukan deteksi dini perilaku agresif pada anak, sehingga memungkinkan intervensi yang tepat dan pencegahan dampak negatif jangka panjang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe management aspects and learning transition strategies from high school to college. This research uses library study or content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that managing a successful transition from high school to college is critical to students' academic success, especially in the first year. Various studies show that many students are less prepared to study at university and experience obstacles, especially in the aspect of learning adjustment. The gap not only occurs in the secondary school system which does not fully prepare its students to enter college, but colleges also do not have the equipment to accommodate students from secondary schools. To make the transition from high school to college, students need to make adjustments and be supported by the people and systems in their environment. From the aspect of students who will become students, they need to prepare three separate stages in the transition process, namely: separation/separation, transition/transition and merger/merger. From the aspect of higher education, it is necessary to prepare strategies, programs and services to facilitate the transition for students who will enter college. This article reviews the results of a collection of literature regarding management and successful strategies implemented in various countries in facilitating learning from high school to university. The purpose of this literature review is to produce recommendations and considerations that can be used as guidelines for students, parents and universities involved in transition to manage the transition well and successfully.

Abstract

Learning innovations relating to emotional and spiritual intelligence based on this study are how the innovations contribute to the advancement of the teachers professional capacity of the elementary schools in Gorontalo Regency, Indonesia. The research understands that not just the knowledge of the material is sufficient to become a good teacher and looks into the pedagogical activities that would be involved in emotional regulation, moral presence, and spiritual clarity. A qualitative case study method was used to collect the data by means of interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis among five elementary schools that participated in the associated training program actively. The results indicate that teachers who develop emotional and spiritual skills show an improvement of self-regulation, strengthening relationship to their students and self-rediscovery of ethical commitment in their professions. Nevertheless, the combination of such competencies may be hampered by structural impediments, such as time requirements, diminished institutional assistance, and the prevalence of academically minimizing structures of policy-making. The research suggests a shift in teacher growth and school culture that claims emotional and spiritual intelligence as an essential part of life, rather than optional extras. The personal experiences of the teachers brought into the foreground with the support of this research will be integrated into the greater literature concerning wholistic education, character development, and the buzzs so-called ethical reconstruction of instruction.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the beginning reading skills of class I students of SDIT Az-Zahra, Gorontalo City through the application of Big Book media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The research subjects were 12 students. The instruments used included observation sheets and reading skills tests. The results of the study showed an increase in students' reading skills classically from the pre-cycle stage to the end of cycle II. At the pre-cycle stage, the student completion rate only reached 16.67% with the category of less skilled. After the implementation of the action in cycle I, the completion increased to 41.67% with a fairly skilled category. Furthermore, in cycle ll, the completion increased significantly to 91-67% with a very skilled category and had met the performance indicators set, which was 280%. Thus, there was an increase of 50% from cycle I to cycle lI. These results prove that the use of Big Book media is effective in improving the initial reading skills of grade I students of SDIT Az-Zahra, Gorontalo City.
