Abstract

This study examines the relevance of the philosophical approach in the development of contemporary Islamic studies. The rapid transformation of Islamic sciences in the modern era demands an analytical framework that is more reflective and critical, particularly when responding to social dynamics, plurality of thought, and technological advancement. Employing a library research method, this paper explores the epistemological foundations, conceptual scope, and contributions of the philosophical approach by analyzing classical and contemporary literature. The findings indicate that the philosophical approach plays a significant role in broadening the horizons of religious interpretation, strengthening methodological reasoning, and fostering critical awareness in understanding both texts and social realities. Philosophy functions not only as a tool for critique but also as a constructive foundation for formulating an integrative and responsive paradigm of Islamic scholarship, especially in addressing modern issues such as radicalism, gender equality, technological ethics, and global humanitarian challenges. Nevertheless, the use of philosophical approaches still encounters several obstacles, including the tendency toward abstract rationality, limited operational application in fiqh, and resistance from normative-textual traditions. This study affirms that repositioning the philosophical approach in a proportional manner is a methodological necessity for strengthening Islamic studies in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the fiqh curriculum through a practice and habituation approach in improving students’ understanding of worship in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with fiqh teachers and the vice principal in charge of curriculum affairs. The findings reveal that the development of the fiqh curriculum is carried out through the integration of theoretical learning and continuous worship practices. The practice and habituation approach has proven effective in enhancing students’ understanding of worship across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, as well as contributing to the development of students’ religious character. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including students’ incomplete understanding and the need for consistency in habituation practices. Therefore, the practice and habituation approach can be considered a relevant strategy in developing the fiqh curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji rekonstruksi nilai akhlak Islam sebagai fondasi pendi­di­kan karakter digital generasi muda. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi meningkatnya persoalan akhlak digital, seperti cyberbullying, hoaks, ujaran kebencian, komunikasi kasar, narsis­me digital, dan melemahnya adab dalam interaksi di ruang digital. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan kesenjangan antara kecakapan teknologi dan internalisasi nilai moral. Kajian literasi digital selama ini cenderung berfokus pada kemampuan teknis, keama­nan digital, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis, sementara integrasi akhlak Islam sebagai kerangka sistematis pembentukan karakter digital belum dirumuskan secara kompre­hensif dalam pendidikan generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah Al-Qur’an, Hadis, literatur klasik akhlak Islam, serta kajian kontemporer tentang pendidikan karakter, literasi digital, dan etika digital. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persoalan akhlak digital tidak cukup diatasi melalui literasi teknis, tetapi memerlukan pendidikan karakter yang mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan orientasi moral dan pengendalian diri. Nilai tabayyun, amanah, haya’, hifz al-lisan, rahmah, ‘adl, dan tanggung jawab sosial direkonstruksi ke dalam lima dimensi karakter digital: spiritual, personal, sosial, intelektual, dan komunikatif. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada kerangka konseptual yang menerjemahkan akhlak Islam ke dalam dimensi karakter yang relevan dengan perilaku digital generasi muda. Secara teoretis, kerangka ini memperluas kajian pendidikan karakter dan etika digital.
