Abstract

Proses pembuatan beton memakai semen portland menghasilkan gas CO2 (carbon dioksida) dalam jumlah besar dan mengakibatkan emisi karbondioksida meningkat, maka perlu dicarikan upaya untuk menekan angka produksi gas yang mencemari lingkungan. Geopolimer merupakan material ramah lingkungan yang bisa dikembangkan sebagai alternatif pengganti beton semen di masa mendatang. Jenis material beton baru “Geopolimer” ini merupakan beton yang ramah lingkungan karena material yang digunakan tersusun dari sintesa bahan-bahan non organik melalui polimerisasi Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental, dengan menggunakan benda uji silinder ukuran 10/20 sebanyak 6 silinder. Diuji pada umur 14 hari dan 28 hari. Hasil kuat tekan beton geopolymer 19,45 MPa pada umur 14 hari dan 22,99 MPa pada umur 28 hari. Kenaikan tren kuat tekan beton geopolymer sebesar 18,2%.

Abstract

Sanitation, both household sanitation and environmental sanitation, are related units that influence each other. Some of the problems in Pindrikan Lor Village include a relatively dense population of ±5,930 people, some areas where the houses are close together, rubbish, puddles of water or flooding when it rains and still stunting in the area, this will of course have a big impact sanitation. This PkM aims to provide a correct understanding of the importance of sanitation for both the household and the environment, as well as providing prevention of the causes, impacts and ways of preventing it. Qualitative and quantitative methods, qualitative include observation stages in the field looking at the condition of the housing environment, drainage and waste, as well as asking directly to local residents, while for quantitative the test method is used regarding understanding both tests, before / pretest and after the material is explained / post-test, before the event closes. The activity was carried out on May 14 2024, on Floor 2 of the Village Office, attended by representatives of RT, RW, PKK and Village Heads and their staff, totaling around 40 participants. The results of the discussion, pre-post-test on Community Service included residents being enthusiastic in asking questions according to the theme and responding well, while the results of the pre-post-test were for understanding of sanitation to 84.63%, understanding of the impact of poor sanitation increased to 76.90%.

Abstract

Sungai Waridin, sebagai sungai utama pada DAS Waridin seluas 28,88 km² dengan panjang 8,21 km, sering mengalami banjir akibat kapasitas tampungan yang tidak memadai, topografi curam, pendangkalan sungai, dan longsornya tanggul, terutama saat hujan lebat berdurasi panjang. Analisis debit banjir menggunakan metode Rasional menunjukkan debit rencana 25 tahunan (Q25) mencapai 98,51 m³/detik, yang tidak dapat ditampung dalam kondisi eksisting berdasarkan simulasi HEC-RAS, sehingga beberapa lokasi mengalami luapan air. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, disarankan perkuatan tanggul menggunakan beronjong berukuran 2 m x 1 m x 0,5 m dan peninggian elevasi tanggul sebesar 0,8 m dari muka air banjir Q25, menghasilkan dimensi tanggul dengan tinggi 3,5 m dan lebar 5,5 m guna menahan debit banjir secara efektif.

Abstract

Irrigation is an effort to drain water from the source to agricultural land to meet the water needs of the land. Irrigated Area (I.A.) East Glapan needs help in the form of channels that carry too much mud or sediment material, thus hindering water distribution to the farthest lands. The lack of optimal mud bag building in the primary channel causes this. Based on these problems, it is necessary to check the effectiveness of the East Glapan I.A. mud bag. The analysis stage involves sediment sample tests and sediment transport calculations using the Shield, Einstein, and Mayer-Patter & Muller (MPM) methods, checking the deposition effectiveness and calculating the draining time. Based on the results of sediment transportation calculations, the highest value of 37.15 tons/day was obtained based on the MPM method. A settling efficiency value of 86.10% was obtained for the effectiveness of sludge bags. Then to optimize the performance of the mud bag, according to the calculation results, it is necessary to drain the mud bag of I.A. East Glapan every four months.

Abstract

Perubahan tataguna lahan yang memberikan dampak langsung terhadap peningkatan aliran permukaan dan menurunnya peresapan air ke dalam tanah, yang berakibat banjir dan kurangnya air tanah. Pengembalian air ke dalam tanah dengan cara biopori bisa juga menggunakan metode sumur resapan dan pipa resapan horisontal. Analisa kebutuhan pipa resapan horisontal menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode Hidrograf dan metode Rasional. Dengan menggunakan pipa horisontal dinding berlubang panjang 4 m akan menggunakan pipa diameter 6". Debit banjir yang dipasang adalah debit banjir hidrograf dengan metode Gama I. Debit banjir periode ulang 50 tahun adalah Debit tahun 2007 = 11,43 m³/detik, Debit tahun 2023 sebelum dipasang PRH = 15,36 m³/detik, Debit tahun 2023 setelah dipasang PRH = 11,31 m³/detik. Analisa reduksi banjir yang digunakan adalah reduksi banjir hidrograf dengan metode Gama I sebesar 8,55 m³/detik, dan dibutuhkan pipa resapan horisontal sebanyak 1650 unit

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi masyarakat Kelurahan Rejosari, Kecamatan Semarang Timur, Kota Semarang, dalam pemasangan lubang resapan biopori sebagai upaya pengelolaan air dan sampah organik untuk mengurangi genangan banjir. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penggalian informasi kebutuhan masyarakat melalui observasi dan wawancara, pemberian edukasi teori dan praktik langsung pembuatan lubang serta pemasangan pipa biopori, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman awal masyarakat terhadap teknologi biopori masih rendah, namun setelah pelatihan terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan motivasi masyarakat untuk menerapkan biopori secara mandiri. Selain itu, masyarakat juga mulai menunjukkan optimisme dan kesadaran akan pentingnya kolaborasi dengan instansi pemerintah dan swasta guna mendukung keberlanjutan kegiatan tersebut. Pendampingan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola lingkungan secara partisipatif dan berkelanjutan, serta mendorong terciptanya lingkungan hidup lebih sehat dan bebas banjir.   Kata Kunci : Lubang Resapan Biopori, Pengelolaan Air, Partisipasi Masyarakat

Abstract

Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is an intelligent traffic system used for traffic management and engineering. The ITS network uses inter-vehicle telecommunication technology. The city of Semarang is one of the cities that will establish ITS technology. One area that applies technology is health. The telecommunications system applied in the health sector today allows medical staff to treat patients in ambulances before arriving at the hospital. This communication system needs to be supported by a good cellular network so that data can be sent to the server. This study aims to measure QOS (Quality of Service) including the characteristics of delay, packet loss, jitter, and throughput from various cellular providers. The results of data measurements using wireshark software with TIPHON standard guidelines obtained an average value for delay obtained by Provider A with the best result of 86.22 ms. The average value for packet loss obtained from the measurement results from the Penggaron Terminal to the City Hall Bus Stop was obtained by Provider A with the best result of 0.474% d for the City Hall Bus Stop to the Penggaron Terminal obtained by Provider B with the best result of 0.574%. The average value of jitter obtained from the measurement results from the Penggaron Terminal to the City Hall Bus Stop was obtained by Provider B with the best result of 0.42 ms, for the City Hall Bus Stop to the Penggaron Terminal, Provider A was obtained with the best result of 0.57 ms. The average throughput value obtained from the measurement results for Penggaron Terminal to City Hall Bus Stop was obtained by Provider C with the best result of 6631 Kbps, for City Hall Bus Stop to Penggaron Terminal obtained by Provider B with the best result of 6339.5 Kbps. Based on this, knowing the value of delay, packet loss, jitter and throughput is expected to be a consideration for the development of a smart ambulance system in the city of Semarang. There are two measurement points, namely the Penggaron Terminal to the City Hall Bus Stop and the City Hall Bus Stop to the Penggaron Terminal using the Semarang BRT.

Abstract

 The right use of rain can provide many benefits. For this reason, mapping of rainfall areas is needed. This is intended to determine the level of disaster preparedness for each region. In mapping, a tool is needed to calculate the rainfall that falls. In the market there are only manual measuring devices, while rainfall gauges are not available which can measure automatically and directly but additional equipment is needed separately. In addition, the measurement results cannot be seen by the public. Therefore we need a tool that works automatically that can display measurement results directly and can be seen directly by the public. Thus the community can see and measure rainfall that falls. In this plan Automatic Rain Recording is used by using a proximity sensor placed on top of a measuring cup and the sensor is connected to the AVR128 Development Board as the control center to convert sensor data into ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) data. This tool is connected with a microSD with a capacity of 8Gbyte to store rainfall level data. AVR128 will store every 2 minutes with a total of 275,368 data and 382 days of storage capability.Keywords : rainfall, ARR, ADC, AVR128, mikroSD

Abstract

Population growth has led to a significant increase in solid waste generation. In Semarang City, approximately 1,110 tons of waste are produced daily. One of the waste management initiatives implemented by the Environmental Agency is the waste bank program. However, this program has not yet been implemented in all areas. In Tlogosari Kulon Subdistrict, for example, no active waste bank group currently operates the program, despite the area being a densely populated residential zone and a flood-prone area. This condition contributes to environmental pollution, unpleasant odors, and potential disease transmission. Through this community service program, it is expected that residents of Kampung Pancasila Tlogosari Kulon will not only gain knowledge but also develop practical skills to manage household waste independently. The methods applied include interactive educational approaches and hands-on practice. The results indicate a significant increase in participants’ average level of understanding, from 42% at the initial stage to 86% after the program. This improvement was driven by direct practical activities, including waste segregation, eco-enzyme production, biopore infiltration holes, and composting. Overall, the program successfully enhanced participants’ environmental awareness, enthusiasm, and active involvement in sustainable household waste management.
