Abstract

Abstract

The Administrative Information System is a system developed to enhance the efficiency of administrative management, involving student graduation reporting and visit letter processing. The development of the information system utilizes the Waterfall method through stages of planning, requirements analysis, design, development, and testing. The development process begins with identifying administrative issues, followed by collecting user requirements data through interviews and observations. The results of this stage are then translated into a system design that includes system architecture, interface design, and database structure. This system is expected to provide benefits, particularly in accelerating administrative processes, facilitating archiving, improving data accuracy, and delivering information more quickly and in a structured manner. The designed system not only supports the operational activities of the faculty in managing administration but is also expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar systems in other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to segment customers of a veterinary clinic using a combination of Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM) analysis and the K-Means clustering algorithm. Transactional data from December 2024 to April 2025 were processed to generate key customer features, followed by min-max normalization to ensure comparability across variables. The segmentation was conducted in AI Studio 2025, with cluster quality evaluated using cluster distance performance and Davies-Bouldin Index. The analysis resulted in four distinct customer segments: the majority were passive customers with low transaction frequency and spending, while a smaller group showed high purchasing activity and made a significant economic contribution. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of automated data mining tools in uncovering meaningful customer profiles in a veterinary service context. The results provide a practical basis for targeted marketing, customer retention strategies, and service improvement in veterinary clinics. This approach offers valuable insights for data-driven decision making and represents a novelty for veterinary service management in Indonesia. Keywords: Customer Segmentation, RFM Analysis, K-Means Clustering, Veterinary Clinic, Data Mining.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven a transformation in the field of education toward digital and interactive learning. One of the innovations with great potential to support the learning process is Augmented Reality (AR) technology, which can combine virtual elements with the real world in real time to create a more immersive learning experience. This Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out by the Faculty of Engineering and Maritime Technology (FTTK) of Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) at SD Negeri 012 Tanjungpinang Kota, with the aim of improving digital literacy and enhancing teachers’ ability to develop AR-based teaching materials. The methods used included introducing the concept of AR, conducting training on creating interactive learning media using simple devices, and providing assistance in implementing them in the classroom. The results of the program showed an increase in participants’ understanding of AR concepts, basic skills in developing AR-based media, and greater motivation among teachers to integrate technology into the learning process. This activity also raised awareness of the importance of digital innovation in improving the quality of elementary education in Tanjungpinang City. Overall, this training contributed to strengthening an educational ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments and served as an effective collaboration model between higher education institutions and elementary schools.

Abstract

Community-based waste management remains a challenge in residential environments, particularly due to low community participation in reporting waste bin conditions and the lack of information media for waste management activities. This condition highlights the need for technological innovation that can increase community involvement in waste management more effectively. This study aims to develop a technology-based innovation grounded in real community needs through the implementation of the Engineering Design Process (EDP). The research stages began with field observations to identify problems, followed by recording and grouping findings, formulating problems and solutions, creating initial sketches, comparing ideas with similar innovations, and selecting a solution in the form of a QR Code-based waste bin integrated with a website. Furthermore, a 3D design of the waste bin and a website interface were developed, followed by the construction of a simple prototype of the QR Code-based waste bin and a localhost-based website. The website provides features including a homepage, community profile, activity schedule, reporting, educational content, suggestion forms, and an admin page for data management. System testing was conducted through user testing involving community residents as system users. The results indicate that the majority of respondents considered the system easy to use, useful, and aligned with environmental needs, as reflected by positive feedback from all participants during interview-based testing. The study demonstrates that applying the Engineering Design Process through direct field observation can produce technological innovations that are relevant and provide tangible benefits for community-based waste management.
