Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital literacy and Islamic spiritual principles on green economic behavior in the context of the digital age. This study identifies a gap in previous studies, which rarely combine technological proficiency and spiritual ethics in influencing sustainable economic behavior among the younger generation. A quantitative approach was used to collect data through questionnaires distributed to Generation Z participants in Palangka Raya City. This study examined three variables, namely digital literacy, Islamic spiritual values, and green economic behavior. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the relationship between variables. The results indicate that digital literacy and Islamic spiritual values significantly and positively influence green economic behavior. Digital literacy increases awareness and encourages responsible decision-making regarding the environment, while Islamic spiritual values strengthen moral and ethical motivation towards sustainability. These findings emphasize the importance of combining digital competence and Islamic spirituality in promoting sustainable economic transformation. This study contributes to the development of green economics literature by providing empirical evidence of the relationship between digital and spiritual factors in shaping sustainable behavior.

Abstract

This study examines digital innovation in public fund management for affordable housing financing through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, aiming to explore its contribution to the realization of smart governance. The review synthesizes relevant studies on digital governance, public financial management, and housing policy to identify patterns, challenges, and research gaps. The findings indicate that digital innovation—such as e-budgeting, integrated financial systems, and data-driven governance—has significantly improved administrative efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public finance. However, its impact on affordable housing financing remains limited due to fragmented institutional coordination, insufficient data integration, and weak organizational capacity. The study reveals that digital transformation often remains at a procedural level and fails to produce substantive governance improvements. Addressing this limitation, the study proposes an integrative framework in which smart governance is achieved through the alignment of three key dimensions: digital infrastructure, institutional capacity, and collaborative governance processes. This framework highlights that technological advancement alone is insufficient without organizational readiness and cross-sector coordination. The findings offer theoretical contributions to Public Administration by integrating digital governance and public financial management within the housing sector. Practically, the study provides policy implications relevant to urban contexts, including DKI Jakarta, in enhancing effective and data-driven housing finance governance.

Abstract

The development of digital media has transformed Islamic da’wah practices, making them more interactive and aligned with the characteristics of the Z Generation that has grown up in a digital ecosystem. This study focuses on the patterns of humanistic da’wah developed by Z Generation da’wah creators through social media. The research problem lies in the limited existing studies on how Z Generation creators construct, communicate, and internalize the values of Islamic humanism through digital platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This study employs a qualitative method with a netnographic approach to observe the activities, content, and digital interactions on the Kadam Sidik (@kadamsidik00) da’wah account on TikTok and Instagram. Data was collected through observations of content posts, communication patterns, and audience responses, which were then analyzed thematically. The results indicate that the applied da’wah patterns reflect a humanistic approach through the use of language that is communicative, empathetic, non-judgmental, and relevant to the emotional experiences of the Z Generation. The dominant values of Islamic humanism include empathy, tolerance, equality, and respect for human dignity. The communication strategies employed are dialogic, creative, and participatory, thereby fostering an emotional connection between the preacher and the audience. These findings indicate that the success of digital da’wah among Z Generation is determined not only by religious content but also by the ability to integrate a humanistic approach with digital communication strategies that align with the characteristics of the young audience.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital communication has encouraged local governments to use social media to strengthen public policy transparency. Instagram, as a visually oriented and interactive platform, is increasingly adopted to disseminate policy information and public service messages. This study examines how the Palangka Raya City Government uses Instagram to support public policy transparency by focusing on: (1) the types of policy information communicated and their framing, (2) the dominant communication strategy pattern (push, pull, or networked), and (3) the implications of these practices for citizen interaction and perceived transparency. The study adopts a purposive case approach and qualitative content analysis. Data were drawn from peer-reviewed academic literature, official local government documents, publicly accessible Instagram content from relevant official accounts, and supporting news coverage (2019–2024). The analysis assessed informational completeness (why–what–how–so what), communication strategies, and observable interaction cues (e.g., questions, complaints, clarifications, and visible responses). The findings indicate that Instagram contributes to transparency mainly by increasing policy visibility and providing basic informational access. Substantive transparency is more evident in service-oriented posts that offer actionable guidance and link citizens to formal disclosure and complaint mechanisms such as KIP/PPID and SP4N-LAPOR. However, communication remains predominantly push-oriented, while pull-based interaction is limited and networked collaboration is largely absent. Consequently, digital transparency tends to emphasize information dissemination rather than demonstrably meaningful participation, and any implications for public trust are discussed as inferences rather than directly measured outcomes.
