Abstract

Unemployment is a significant issue in Indonesia's labor market. The unemployment rate is measured by the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) through the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) conducted by BPS. In 2022, the OUR in Tanah Datar District reached its highest level in the past fifteen years. This rise in unemployment contrasts with the declining poverty rate, unlike other districts/cities in West Sumatra. To address the increasing unemployment, detailed information at the smallest administrative level is necessary. However, because the limited sample size in SAKERNAS does not allow for direct estimation of the OUR with sufficient accuracy, this study aims to overcome this limitation by estimating the OUR at the subdistrict level using indirect estimation through Small Area Estimation (SAE). The SAE method applied is Empirical Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (EBLUP), using the Restricted Maximum Likelihood (REML) estimation model. This research uses secondary data obtained from the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) of Tanah Datar Regency for the August 2022 period and the Village Potential data (PODES) of Tanah Datar Regency in 2021. The findings indicate that three subdistricts—Pariangan, Lintau Buo Utara, and Padang Ganting—have higher OUR values than Tanah Datar Regency in 2022, with rates of 6.00%, 6.01%, and 11.03%, respectively. The factor that influences the high OUR in these sub-districts is the variable percentage of the male population, which in this model has a large contribution to the calculation of OUR. The indirect estimations using EBLUP are deemed reliable, as the RSE value is below 25%. Therefore, the EBLUP indirect estimation results for OUR at the subdistrict level in Tanah Datar Regency can guide local government efforts to take targeted actions to reduce unemployment, especially in areas with high OUR.

Abstract

Rice is the main commodity that supports national food security and fulfills the consumption needs of most of the Indonesian population. Rice production faces many persistent problems, such as yield fluctuations, pest and disease attacks, and environmental changes. One example is the conversion of agricultural areas into residential and industrial areas, which causes rice production to decline. The purpose of this research is to use the Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) approach to develop a forecasting model of Pariaman City’s rice production and forecast the results for 2024 in a monthly period. This applied research uses secondary data obtained from the official website of the Pariaman City Statistics Agency. The best forecasting model results are achieved with the ARMA (1,2) model which produces the smallest MSE value of 96.6965. The model form is $$Y_t = 1.00048Y_{t-1} + \varepsilon_t + 0.443\varepsilon_{t-1} + 0.493\varepsilon_{t-2}$$.

Abstract

Getting maximum profit is the main goal of every company. To achieve this goal, it is important for companies to control raw material inventory. Tommy Alumunium Store is a furniture industry company that produces various kinds of furniture products, one of which is cabinets. The existence of an uncertain amount of demand can result in the company experiencing excess or shortage of inventory from the amount of demand. So that research will be conducted to control raw material inventory and determine the total inventory costs that must be incurred by the company using the Material Requirement Planning method. The lot sizing used is the Lot for Lot technique, Economic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity. This research is applied research. This study found that the most effective technique to apply is Lot for Lot, because it results in the minimum cost. With this Lot for Lot technique, the company can save inventory costs of Rp. 7,644,339 or 51.46% of the total inventory costs owned by Tommy Alumunium Store.

Abstract

The center of snake fruit mangguang recency is in Kenagarian Tanjung Beringin. Mangguang salak production fluctuates every year. From 2019-2022, snake fruit production has decreased, which has an impact on the economy of the people in the area. The aim of this research is to identify factors that have a significant influence on the production of Mangguang salak in Pasaman Regency. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. From the research results, the factors that most significantly influence the production of mangguang salak are the number of clumps and pruning with an error rate of 5%.

Abstract

Salon Kecantikan Muslimah Beauty Care memiliki 21 karyawan dengan 6 jenis pekerjaan. Pengelola sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam membagi tugas secara optimal, terutama saat permintaan pelanggan meningkat, yang menyebabkan pekerjaan tidak sesuai dengan keahlian karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan penjadwalan karyawan menggunakan metode Hungaria modifikasi, yang dipilih untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan alokasi tugas. Masalah penjadwalan dirumuskan ke dalam model matematika. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata kinerja karyawan meningkat dari 77,19 sebelum penerapan metode menjadi 88,19 setelah metode diterapkan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan alokasi karyawan yang optimal sesuai prioritas pekerjaan. Face treatment diberikan kepada Isna, Betty, Puti, dan Yana, sementara Body treatment ditugaskan kepada Buk Yun, Aisyah, dan Dila. Refleksi/therapy & massage dipercayakan kepada Meme, Inong, Netti, dan Tini, sedangkan Hand & foot treatment kepada Vivin, Rani, Yus, dan Thia. Totok aura kesehatan ditangani oleh Eva, Niar, dan Lisa, sementara Creambath dikerjakan oleh Melly, Tari, dan Atik.

Abstract

Auto 2000 Padang memiliki target layanan servis kendaraan sebanyak 1.225 unit per bulan dalam 25 hari kerja dengan 14 mekanik dan 8 jenis pekerjaan. Namun, rata-rata capaian servis bulanan pada tahun 2023 hanya mencapai 859 unit, sehingga diperlukan penugasan mekanik yang optimal agar target tercapai. Penelitian ini menerapkan Modified Hungarian Method untuk menyelesaikan masalah penugasan yang tidak seimbang karena jumlah mekanik tidak sama dengan jumlah jenis pekerjaan. Metode ini mengoptimalkan penempatan tugas dengan mempertimbangkan efisiensi waktu kerja setiap mekanik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ini mampu meningkatkan jumlah unit servis menjadi 1.359 unit per bulan, melampaui target yang ditetapkan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengoptimalan penugasan menggunakan Modified Hungarian Method dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja mekanik.

Abstract

Bifurkasi adalah perubahan struktur kualitatif yang terjadi pada suatu sistem. Struktur kualitatif yang berubah dapat berupa perubahan yang terjadi pada kestabilan titik ekuilibrium. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis bifurkasi pada model matematika risiko keuangan dengan variabel yang mempengaruhi suku bunga, permintaan investasi dan indeks harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kestabilan titik ekuilibrium dan  bifurkasi yang terjadi pada model matematika risiko keuangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh tiga titik ekuilibrium dengan titik ekuilibrium kedua tidak eksis berdasarkan sudut pandang ekonomi, sebab suku bunga bernilai negatif. Titik ekuilibrium pertama menggambarkan keadaan hanya ada permintaan investasi sedangkan suku bunga dan indeks harga tidak ada. Titik ekuilibrium pertama dapat bersifat stabil asimtotik apabila memenuhi beberapa syarat. Sedangkan titik ekuilibrium ketiga menggambarkan keadaan terjadinya inflasi atau deflasi. Titik ekuilibrium ketiga dapat bersifat stabil asimtotik berdasarkan kriteria kestabilan Routh-Hurwitz. Bifurkasi terjadi pada titik ekuilibrium pertama yang menunjukkan adanya perubahan kestabilan pada titik ekuilibrium tersebut.

Abstract

The spread of tuberculosis can occur in two ways, namely exogenous and endogenous. The spread of tuberculosis exogenously or Exogenous Reinfection of tuberculosis can be observed using a mathematical model. Then an analysis of the mathematical model with a bifurcation approach was carried out. Based on the result, it was found that there was a change in stability properties and the type of equilibrium point in the distribution equation system of exogenous reinfection tuberculosis, where the parameter that occurred bifurcation was , with . When value of is smaller than zero, the system of differential equations of exogenous reinfection tuberculosis shows an unstable with a saddle point type, when the value of is equal to zero the system of differential equations cannot be determined its stability, and when system of differential equations shows asymptotic stability, where there is a change in species. The points are nodes, star nodes, and spirals.

Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai guru dan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal literasi matematika. Dengan kata lain kemampuan penalaran sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung literasi matematika. Namun kenyataannya guru-guru matematika belum terbiasa dengan komponen tes penalaran matematika. Hal ini disebabkan karena jenis tes ini belum ada di tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan terhadap guru dalam penyelesaian soal-soal penalaran matematika dan juga memberikan bimbingan teknis pada guru untuk merancang soal-soal penalaran matematika. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap penyelesaian. Kegiatan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dengan topik yang berbeda setiap pertemuan. Topik-topik yang dibahas yaitu Bilangan, Aljabar, Geometri, data dan ketidakpastian. Pada kegiatan ini juga dilaksanakan pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test diperoleh informasi bahwa terjadi kenaikan nilai peserta pelatihan yaitu sebesar 11, 46 atau 19,65%.
