Many companies increase its organizational capability through investing in such programs as Just In Time (JIT) and Total Quality Management (TQM). Thebenefit of these programs, however, seems always limited because of less reliab1e equipment. Many companies find Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to add into the existed programs in order to have continued improvement. Pharmaceutical industry becomes one that uses TPM to maintain its reliabilityfrom the equipment used to suP.E...ort production process. The objective of research aims at examining and analyzing the effect of "1otal Productive Maintenance (TPM) application, comprising tohousekeeping, cross training, teams, q1erator involvement, disciplined planning, information tracking, and schedule compliance, on the performance of pharmaceutical companies in East Java. The number of sample consisting of19 pharmaceutical companies. PENENTUAN PRIORITAS PENGEMBANGAN SENTRA INDUSTRI KECIL BATIK YANG RAMAH LINGKUNGAN SEBAGAI PRODUK UNGGULAN DI BANGKALAN Widiaswanti, Ernaning

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh kriteria pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan prioritas pengembangan Sentra Industri Kecil Batik, mengevaluasi keberadaan Sentra Industri Kecil Batik di wilayah Bangkalan dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria pengembangan baik dari sisi kualitas produk maupun kualitas lingkungan dan menghasilkan solusi pengembangan produk batik pada Sentra Industri Kecil Batik untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan kinerja lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil brainstorming diperoleh beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas batik yaitu tenaga kerja, material, mesin, metode dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner dan pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy AHP faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan produksi batik yaitu : belum mencukupinya jumlah tenaga kerja, dengan bobot sebesar 0,64, adanya risiko lamanya penyimpanan akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap proses produksi batik, dengan bobot sebesar 0,67, kurangnya perawatan mesin printing akan berpengaruh terhadap proses operasi, dengan bobot sebesar 0,56, kebijakan perawatan mesin printing, di mana perawatan mesin yang kurang terjadwal dan dilakukan perbaikan hanya ketika mesin rusak, bobot dari kebijakan perawatan mesin sebesar 0,69, dan dampak pembuangan limbah dengan bobot sebesar 0,393 akan mempengaruhi lingkungan. Kata kunci: Fuzzy - Analytical Hierarchy Process, Batik Tanjung Bumi AbstractThis study aims to obtain a decision support criteria in determining development priorities Small Industries Batik Sentra, Sentra evaluate the existence of Small Industries Batik Bangkalan region taking into account the criteria of development both in terms of product quality and the quality of the environment and produce batik product development solutions to Small Industries Batik Sentra to improve product quality and environmental performance. Based on the results obtained brainstorming several factors that affect the quality of batik is labor, materials, machines, methods and environments. Based on the distribution of questionnaires and data processing using fuzzy AHP factors that influence the development of batik production, namely: inadequate amount of labor yet, with a weight of 0.64, the risk of storage duration will greatly affect the process of batik production, with a weight of 0.67 , lack of maintenance will affect the printing machine operation process, with a weight of 0.56, printing machine maintenance policy, where less unscheduled engine maintenance and repairs done only when the machine breaks down, the weight of the machine care policy at 0.69, and the impact of disposal waste with a weight of 0.393 will affect the environment.
