Abstract

Background. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted traditional education systems, forcing a rapid transition to online learning. This transition has highlighted the need for flexible and adaptive teaching methods, making blended learning models increasingly relevant. Blended learning, which combines face-to-face and online education, has emerged as a potential solution for post-pandemic education systems. Purpose. This study aims to explore how blended learning models can be adapted and implemented in post-pandemic education systems to enhance student engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining surveys and interviews with educators and students across various educational institutions. Method. The data were analyzed to assess the effectiveness, challenges, and perceptions of blended learning in post-pandemic contexts. Results. The results indicate that while blended learning models are perceived positively, challenges such as technological limitations, teacher training, and student motivation remain significant. However, schools and universities that successfully integrated blended learning models reported improvements in flexibility, student satisfaction, and academic performance. Conclusion. The study concludes that blended learning has the potential to transform education systems by offering a more personalized, accessible, and adaptable learning experience. For successful implementation, ongoing professional development for educators and investment in technology infrastructure are crucial.

Abstract

Bamboo is increasingly recognized as a sustainable forest product due to its rapid growth, versatility, and potential for contributing to environmental conservation. As global concerns about deforestation, climate change, and resource depletion grow, bamboo presents an alternative material that is both eco-friendly and economically viable. However, there is still limited research on its full potential, particularly in terms of its environmental benefits and commercial applications. This study aims to explore the potential of bamboo as a sustainable forest product by evaluating its environmental benefits, economic feasibility, and various commercial uses. The research also examines how bamboo cultivation can contribute to sustainable forest management and biodiversity conservation. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining a literature review, field surveys, and interviews with bamboo industry experts. Data were collected from bamboo cultivation sites, assessing growth rates, carbon sequestration potential, and local economic impacts. Qualitative interviews provided insights into the challenges and opportunities within the bamboo industry. The study found that bamboo grows rapidly, sequesters significant amounts of carbon, and provides an income-generating opportunity for rural communities. Bamboo-based products, such as construction materials and textiles, are gaining popularity due to their eco-friendly nature. However, challenges remain in terms of market development and supply chain infrastructure. Bamboo has substantial potential as a sustainable forest product that can play a key role in environmental conservation and economic development. Future research should focus on scaling up bamboo cultivation and improving market access to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

Mindfulness, the practice of paying focused attention to the present moment without judgment, has been shown to improve psychological well-being. As mental health concerns grow worldwide, mindfulness is gaining attention as a tool to enhance emotional regulation, reduce stress, and foster greater resilience. This study aims to investigate the psychological benefits of mindfulness and its influence on overall well-being. Specifically, it seeks to assess how regular mindfulness practice contributes to improvements in mental health, emotional stability, and life satisfaction. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Data were collected from 300 participants who engaged in an 8-week mindfulness intervention. The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and the Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) were used to measure stress levels and overall well-being before and after the intervention. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted to gather personal experiences. The findings revealed significant reductions in perceived stress and improvements in mental well-being. Participants reported feeling more emotionally balanced, present, and connected to their surroundings. This study concludes that mindfulness significantly benefits psychological well-being by reducing stress and improving emotional health. Incorporating mindfulness into daily routines can be a valuable tool for enhancing mental health.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on t, Malaysiahe development of early detection methods for chronic diseases using Quantum Machine Learning (QML). Chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer are often detected too late, leading to preventable complications. This study aims to explore the potential of QML in improving the accuracy and speed of diagnosis by combining clinical data and medical images. The method used involves the application of quantum machine learning algorithms to analyze medical datasets that include numerical information and medical images such as CT scans and MRIs. The results show that QML can process data faster and more accurately than traditional machine learning methods. QML is also capable of detecting hidden patterns in data that cannot be found with conventional techniques. The conclusion of this study shows that Quantum Machine Learning offers an effective new approach for the early detection of chronic diseases. This technology can improve healthcare systems by providing faster and more accurate predictions, which can reduce mortality rates from chronic diseases. Further research is needed to expand QML applications and address current hardware limitations

Abstract

Gravitational wave detection has reached unprecedented sensitivity through interferometric technologies, yet it remains fundamentally constrained by quantum noise, particularly the standard quantum limit (SQL). Advances in quantum metrology suggest that entangled states can surpass classical limits and approach the Heisenberg limit, offering a pathway to ultra-precise measurements. This study aims to investigate the potential of entangled quantum states to enhance sensitivity in gravitational wave detectors under realistic conditions. A theoretical–computational approach was employed, combining analytical modeling with large-scale numerical simulations of interferometric systems. Various quantum states, including NOON states, squeezed states, and hybrid entangled–squeezed configurations, were evaluated using quantum Fisher information and phase variance as performance metrics. The results indicate that entangled states achieve Heisenberg-limited scaling in ideal conditions, significantly outperforming classical and squeezed states. Hybrid states demonstrate superior robustness against loss and decoherence, maintaining enhanced sensitivity in non-ideal environments. These findings suggest that the integration of entangled states into interferometric detectors can substantially reduce quantum noise and improve detection capabilities. This study concludes that entanglement-based metrology offers a promising and practical pathway toward next-generation gravitational wave detection with ultra-high precision.

Abstract

Play is increasingly recognized as a crucial foundation for fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities in early childhood education. In a rapidly changing world that demands flexible thinking and innovation, understanding how different forms of play contribute to cognitive development has become a central concern for educators and researchers. This study aims to examine the longitudinal relationship between structured and unstructured play activities and the development of creative problem-solving skills among children aged 4 to 7 years. A mixed-method longitudinal design was employed over a three-year period, involving 120 children from five early childhood education centers. Quantitative data were collected through standardized creativity and problem-solving assessments, while qualitative observations and teacher interviews provided contextual insights into behavioral and cognitive changes. Results revealed that children consistently engaged in imaginative and cooperative play demonstrated significantly higher gains in fluency, flexibility, and originality in problem-solving tasks. The findings also indicate that teacher-facilitated play environments amplify these developmental effects by promoting autonomy and social interaction. The study concludes that play is not merely a recreational activity but a critical pedagogical tool that nurtures creative cognition and adaptive problem-solving in early learning contexts.

Abstract

First responders are routinely exposed to traumatic events, placing them at high risk for developing mental health disorders such as PTSD, anxiety, and burnout. Despite the critical role these professionals play, mental health interventions remain limited. Trauma-Focused Therapy (TFT) has shown promise in treating trauma-related disorders, yet its efficacy for first responders has not been extensively studied. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of TFT in improving the mental health outcomes of first responders, specifically in reducing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and burnout symptoms. The study employed a randomized controlled design, with 120 first responders assigned to either the experimental group receiving TFT or the control group. Pre-, post-, and six-month follow-up assessments were conducted using standardized instruments such as the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Results indicated significant reductions in PTSD, anxiety, depression, and burnout scores in the experimental group, with improvements sustained at the six-month follow-up. The control group showed minimal changes. These findings suggest that TFT is an effective intervention for enhancing the mental well-being of first responders. The study highlights the importance of incorporating TFT into mental health support systems for first responders.

Abstract

Post-harvest losses are a significant challenge in the agricultural sector in Russia, affecting food security and farmers' incomes. Post-harvest storage and processing technologies, such as cold storage and modified atmosphere treatment, have been introduced as solutions to reduce yield loss. However, the effectiveness and adoption of this technology has not been evenly distributed across Russia's agricultural regions. This study aims to analyze the impact of post-harvest storage and processing technologies on the reduction of yield losses in several major agricultural regions in Russia. In addition, this study explores the challenges in the adoption of such technologies by small and medium farmers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach in several major agricultural regions in Russia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and reviews of relevant literature. The analysis was carried out using thematic and descriptive statistical methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the technology in reducing post-harvest losses. The results of the study show that the application of post-harvest storage and processing technology is able to reduce yield losses by up to 50%. However, there is a gap in technology adoption in rural areas that lack supporting infrastructure. Post-harvest storage and processing technologies in Russia have great potential to reduce yield losses and improve food security. Policy and infrastructure support is needed to expand the adoption of these technologies across Russia's agricultural regions.

Abstract

Sustainable forestry is increasingly crucial for maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem services in the face of climate change and deforestation. Advances in biomolecular techniques offer innovative solutions for enhancing forest conservation and management practices. This study aims to explore the potential of biomolecular advances in promoting sustainable forestry practices and effective conservation strategies. By examining the integration of molecular biology with traditional forestry techniques, the research seeks to identify key innovations that can improve forest resilience and sustainability. A comprehensive literature review was conducted, focusing on recent biomolecular technologies such as genetic engineering, DNA barcoding, and molecular markers. Case studies from various regions were analyzed to evaluate the application of these techniques in forest conservation and management. Findings indicate that biomolecular advances significantly enhance the ability to monitor forest health, assess biodiversity, and implement targeted conservation strategies. Techniques such as genetic modification of tree species for disease resistance and the use of molecular markers for population genetics have shown promising results in improving forest resilience. This research underscores the importance of integrating biomolecular technologies into sustainable forestry practices.

Abstract

Creative startups in Indonesia have become key players in the country's economic growth, contributing significantly to job creation and innovation. However, securing funding remains a major challenge for these startups. The gap in access to financing and the lack of understanding of investors about the creative sector often hinder the growth potential of these businesses. Despite the promising prospects, these challenges require a comprehensive analysis to identify the opportunities for overcoming funding barriers. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by creative startups in Indonesia when seeking funding and explore the opportunities available to facilitate their access to capital. The research focuses on identifying key obstacles and evaluating potential solutions that could improve the startup ecosystem in the country. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with creative startup founders and quantitative surveys conducted among investors and funding bodies. Data was analyzed to identify common challenges and potential opportunities within the funding landscape. The study found that limited awareness among investors, a lack of tailored financial products, and the perception of high risk associated with creative startups were the primary challenges. However, there are emerging opportunities, including government initiatives and the growing popularity of crowdfunding platforms, which are becoming viable alternatives for funding. To enhance the growth of creative startups in Indonesia, both government and private sectors must collaborate to provide more accessible and specialized funding options. Additionally, increasing awareness among investors about the potential of the creative sector can unlock new funding opportunities.
