Abstract

Stakeholders’ role to support evidence-based practice (EBP) and enhance the use of information and communication technology (ICT) for EBP is essential. However, how EBP is supported and how ICT is utilized in health care providers is unknown. Aim: This study aims to explore stakeholders’ insights regarding the implementation of EBP and the use of ICT. A qualitative study with the semi-structured face-to-face interview was used to obtain the aim. Using purposive sampling, eleven management representatives from public and private hospitals, clinics, and health offices in Depok city, Indonesia were asked about EBP and ICT. Data were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed thematically. Five themes emerged from this study. EBP services availability and accessibility showed ICT sources were adequate, but still need improvement in the library and Education and Training Department (ETD); Healthcare workforce represented doctors and nurses who hardly generate research although permitted by the stakeholders; Health information systems such as clinical cases forums in hospitals were established, but current evidence was rarely discussed; Funding for research and training related to EBP were not allocated; Leadership and governance showed there were limited policies on EBP and clinical instructors available in hospitals but focused on supporting training and student practices. Although EBP implementation needs improvement, the stakeholders in this study mostly support EBP and enable ICT for EBP purposes. Advocacy on policy and resource arrangements is urged to support information initiatives.

Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning tool has transformed education by enhancing accessibility, flexibility, and engagement. This study employs a literature review method to analyze ICT implementation in learning media development. Data sources include journals, books, articles, and research reports. Findings indicate that ICT facilitates interactive and student-centered learning, enhances critical thinking, and expands educational resources. Additionally, ICT shifts the teacher’s role from an information provider to a facilitator. However, challenges such as digital literacy gaps, infrastructure limitations, and the potential for technology misuse hinder its optimal use. To maximize ICT’s effectiveness, adequate teacher training, curriculum integration, and policy support are essential. This study highlights trends, challenges, and opportunities in ICT-based education while emphasizing the need for further research on its impact and best practices. The findings serve as a foundation for future studies on technology integration in education.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize hospitals customer loyalty through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach. In the increasingly competitive healthcare industry, customer satisfaction is key to retaining and attracting new customers. SERVQUAL is one of the methods we use in this study so that by implementing CRM, hospitals can understand patient needs, improve service quality, and build long-term relationships. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 106 respondents who are hospital customers. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of CRM has a significant effect on patient satisfaction and loyalty. Although the overall satisfaction rate reached 84.9%, several aspects needed to be improved, such as the waiting time of doctors and the speed of the registration process. Recommendations to improve the effectiveness of CRM in hospitals include the development of digital systems and staff training.

Abstract

A private company engaged in heavy equipment rental services, established on June 19, 2012, in Pekanbaru. In the current business process, customers who wish to rent heavy equipment or seek information about it can only do so during office hours, making the rental process less efficient. Record-keeping is still done using Excel, which increases the risk of data loss. Therefore, a solution has been proposed to develop a web-based information system to access and manage the process easily. The information system was developed using the prototyping method. The choice of the prototyping method is made to speed up development time, ease system completion, and avoid discrepancies between developers and users. The information system is then tested through Black Box testing and usability testing. From the Black Box testing results, it was found that the system's functionality for all users has been successfully implemented and operates as expected. Meanwhile, the usability testing results showed an average score of 89%, indicating that users strongly agree with the system's usability. This research helps to facilitate customers and administrators in the heavy equipment rental process by providing quick and easy access to information on prices, schedules, and equipment types, while also improving data recording to reduce the risk of data loss and facilitate administrative tasks.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of social media information on green consumption among Generation Z in Jakarta, with subjective norms as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 300 respondents through a survey. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between social media information and green consumption, as well as between social media information and subjective norms. However, subjective norms failed to mediate the relationship between social media information and green consumption. These findings highlight the importance of social media as an information source in influencing green consumption behavior, despite the unproven role of subjective norms as a mediator. The study's implications provide insights for marketers and policymakers to enhance the effectiveness of green campaigns through social media. Keywords: Social Media Information (SOS), Green Consumption, Subjective Norms (SBN), Green Growth, Sustainable Development, Stimulus-Organisme-Respon (SOR).

Abstract

Restrictions on activities carried out by the government to suppress the spread of COVID-19, which has lasted for two years, have disrupted community activities. This causes people to carry out activities online or online through digital-based platforms. The use of computer technology for the application of information systems and business is very necessary. This research uses the Waterfall Model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method using data analysis and system design, namely Unified Modeling Language (UML) . This travel information system aims to assist the marketing department in the Tourism Office in conducting tourism promotions and conveying information about travel to consumers or visitors such as tourists. For visitors, this system functions to order travel at the destination by selecting a destination, then the system will take the tour detail page and trip list. Then the trip list section will provide a booking order, after completing the required data input, the system will display a visitor dashboard page to upload proof of payment.

Abstract

This research generally discusses the service and data management in the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries who still store documents in hard files, This problem arises because the fisherman administration service at the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service is still using manual methods in managing data and data storage, causing data management and administrative services to take a slow time and sometimes the existing data is no longer accurate. From the needs of the community, they have a desire for these services to be fast, reliable, transparent, and trustworthy services. With the service information system and web-based data management, it makes it easier for the public and admins to access and find out fisherman data by accessing anywhere. The tool is used to describe the system model in the form of Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). To implement the service information system and fisherman data management, supporting components are needed to work properly. The component uses Laravel framework programming and stores database in MySQL. The results of this research and application are expected to be able to overcome existing problems and be useful for those concerned.

Abstract

Chatbots are essential for improving the customer experience on tourism websites, especially when it comes to arranging travel and offering precise information. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of generative and retrieval-based chatbots in the tourism information service. Two retrieval-based models are MLP-based single QA and multi QA and two generative-based models namely LLaMA 2 and GEMMA were evaluated using confusion matrix, BLUE score, correctness response and naturalness response. The study found that LLaMA 2 outperformed other models, with the highest response Accuracy of 0.89, naturalness of 0.75, and BLEU score of 0.33. GEMMA received the lowest score, suggesting that it has trouble coming up with precise and organic answers. The retrieval-based models showed strong accuracy but were less natural in their responses. The ease of dataset creation for generative models, which only requires narrative text, further positions LLaMA 2 as the most suitable option for improving user experience in Tegal tourism services.
